Most Tech Companies hardly publish vacancies for Industrial attachment students. Leaving IT Students to the wander off, going for other not Tech Related jobs. Meanwhile lots of opportunities lies in the Technological sphere especially in a third world country like Nigeria where lots of jobs/task are yet to be automated.

Am an Engineering Student looking for an IT Placement preferably Software engineering/Development

Well from my own point of view , u gonna need to consider different factors

Starting another Undergraduate Program,
- Age Factor (18-21) , that's mostly the age range to apply for a Bachelor Degree in Canada (though I don't know ur age)

- u would likely not want to mention ur Comp. engr. Degree in Nigeria, And with that u gonna be asked what u av bin doing for the past 4-5 years, cos u will need to convince a visa officer with that..

As regards M.SC in CANADA
- 2nd Class Upper (2.1) is the minimum requirement for M.SC Admission in Canada

My own Suggestion
Since ur CGPA is 2.1,

A PGD/PGC (Post Grad. Diploma/Post Grad. Cert) in a Computer Engineering/Computer Science Related Program is ur best option, so u can show career progression

400lvl computer engineering student I either intend to pursue my Msc degree in Canada immediately I grad which is next year without going for NYSC, or I start afresh as an undergraduate in Canada. My CGPA around 2.1 but my school here is not really up and doing. Am a goal getter and good academic grades are kind of a priority to me.
So house please I need u guys candid advice on this.

I am studying an engineering course in one of the eastern state University, they just started their engineering faculty but my problem here is we av not being doing any engineering related course and most important some things are not yet in place.
Engineering is a complex career that needs good foundation but here it's the otherwise we are still on science course and it's the second semester of the session.
Pls is it advisable to switch to another institution and what are the steps to take. (100 level computer engineering student).

I just have to drop this just here to create awareness to the public.
It started on a nice after surfing for a nice phone on Jiji, I actually got one and decided to make contact with the seller. After few negotiations we concluded on a price of 30,000.
The seller then told me to pay a part payment to show that I was interested, because the price we bargained on was a give away price.
Being so naive I transferred 15000 being half payment to be completed once my goods was received. He confirmed receiving the money and told me he was heading for the courier services, few hours later he called telling me to complete the payment, that the courier service (peace mass transit) to be precise no longer collect balance for the sellers. I had to make a bank deposit to 15000 to complete the payment. He confirmed it, and sent me a weigh bill number that I would be receiving it few days. Since then all measure to reach him, proved abortive. Pls fellow Nigeria do not fall 4 this scam. He claims his name to beFrancis. Acc number receiving the payment. 3058090438 name Muhammed abdulrazak Firstbank plc. Phone number 09065372111.
I tried reaching my bank and the receiving bank, they promised to get back but it's been more than a month no reply from both bank yet. Nigeria banks are as good very useful in such situation. I don't see the reason for BVN establishment. The worst of it is Jiji has no contact to reach. They do not confirm and do background checks on their sellers.
