This show is by far the best show on TV period. Have practically watched all of season 4. There are a lot of 'supposed' deaths in the season 4 finale. Well dont want to add spoilers but i have to say the part where micheal was trying to freeze the battery of the C4s on the frieghter reminded a lot about metal gear solid 2: sons of libeerty where snake had to freeze the c4s on the ship. Can't wait for season 5, and also what d heck happened to Locke!?!

Hmmm. as a big sf fan am really lookin fwd to sf 4 coming out later this yr, its gonna be crazy, and also the enhanced version of ssf2 turbo altho that will be only on the download service. Also looking fwd to facin someone on d original arcade version of ssf2 turbo, have that on the PC.

MK Vs DC? It sounds very wierd, I guess midway is following some (old) new approaches to add to the MK franchise, a la sf vs x men, marvel vs capcom.

Soul Calibur 4 looks brilliant hope its better than SC3 which was crap.

Don't know if anyone else heard (or care), but theres rumour of a possible KI 3! hope that comes

I actually wanted to start this a while ago. Okay, basically this is a thread for all fighting game fans to come together and discuss new n old beat-em-ups, news, competitions and the like. I wud like to ask if there is anyone who still knows their SSF2 turbo, KI or KI2, MK trilogy. If there is any out there pls holla, it is gettin freakin lonely out here,

Hey, am a big fps fan, not really played any fps on the xbox360 however just wanna find out where i can get a hold of perfect dark zero, am a fan of goldeneye n perfect dark on the n64

Some suggestions of mine are:

Lights
0. The name of the films, ? I mean they make it easy 4 nigerians and anyone to follow but come on.Also, part 1,2 ,3 ,4 ,5, ?
1. The environments should stop being crowded by too many bystanders and onlookers esp outside, except when needed for the scene.
2. Try and make the storyline more appealing, most naija films are either about love, crime, church or jazz, with mostly the same storylines so it'll help if there was some other form of movie. A very good mordern comedy wud be nice, also tv series with as good quality as 'edge of paradise'.

3. Improve sound effects, since they be using them all the time, they might as well use more mordern ones that sound better than their effects that sound like a 1982 game or something. zap-zap, twiiiiiuuu. Also the original score (soundtrack) of the film should have some more work on - I personally believe this wat makes a movie to be watched over n over.
4. Improve CGI sections, especially in action films, and we need to see more intruiging action films too (the terminator, anyone, ?). The CGI parts of naija films are too poor and in this modern age, they should have at least improve the standard of that part by now.

Action
5. Actors and actresses should undergo more training in acting 'gerenally', with the way they act, anyone can act, the most prevailing part in these movies i think is crying (n they seem to be very good at it)
6. Filming n editing sometimes is disgraceful, one movie I watched (find it hard keeping track of their names) the camera man was actually visible in a bedroom scene through the mirror in the room! It was quite funny, cause he noticed afterwards n he slowly n gradually shifted away from the mirror. There was this other one where the overhead mic kept poppin in and out of the scene.
7. Commercializing is another factor, they are a no of cinemas now so i guess they can start showing naija films b4 they come to discs. Movies boards, ratings and oh yeh those horrid adverts, should be checked!

Chima how far, so u r here. Its tony. My guy here is a good player in Tekken 5, but many play me and all have fallen! Nobody can beat the Demon God fist, Kazuya, Dor-yaa! Still waiting for Devil-kazuya to be used as a playable character. Holla back tekken players if u r in Abuja. I agree with you that there is little or no competition in the game right now. I still think however that the game is not so technical, it's technical quite alright, but the game is actually 'too 3D' to enjoy a steady n competitive 1 on 1 combat. If u realize, most competitive games like sf, n other 2D fighters, even tekken  enjoy some common tecnics in-game such as practicalised combos, juggles, timed moves, linkers n so on, sc2 can get frustrating while doing some of these, am sure u know. I guess the game makes up for all this with its sharp parry and guard impact system, which can or may get repetitive sometimes.  As far as position awareness, the game is diverse, so it depends on the character u r using.

PS: I do not have the system or CD at the moment, only tekken:dr on psp.

Yes I played soul calibur 2 on my gamecube till it got scratched all by itself, it is quite an easy, and fun game to play not much competition tho, and little technicality. Currently am lokking fwd to playing sf:third strike, vf 5 and tekken 6.

The Most competitive fighting games include: Street Fighter series except EX, Tekken series and Virtua Fighter series.
Soul calibur 2 is very good just not bad competitive. I guess the best beat-em-up concerning popularity, gameplay, competitiveness and lastability should go to street fighter!!!
However MY personal best is Killer Instinct arcade

Well so far my favourite super hero is Iron Man from the Avengers, and my favourite villian will have to be smith from the Matrix or Dr. Doom.
