@ iukpe, it's nice to hear ppl r into this gaming industry n are thinking of cool innovations to make gaming more appreciable and ultimately, fun. Am an avid gamer based in abj, an xbox360 n dying to get play it online. Given dis difficult situation, i am trying 2 see how i can get to a cybercafe n prob hook up ma console there 2 see if i can at least get a glimpse of wat its like, i got gears of war, gta4, halo combat ev, fifa 09 to test. @kazuya, thats ma nickname! noone bears that unless u master d guy. anyway, ur based in abj i see, do u play tekken? |
Kemjisuper ur designs r really good. And the 3d modeling is great too. looks like uv been in this sorta business b4. Congrats, i knew u had it in the bag the minute i peeped the logo, brilliantly crafted and simply decorated. annekix ur design is nice but man its a bit too complex 4 moi o, 4 instance ur fonts r kinda bizzare. Big ups to u designer folks! E no easy, but u go make am |
trying to get all achievements on crackdown, also playing call of duty 3, fifa 09, gta 4, dead space, yeh time is tight and all, but i kinda create time for gaming, anyhow man |
I think MI is better, although big up to naeto C. My man |
kanye is cool. I havent listened 2 all d album, but i trust it is solid. kanye singing, i feel, is based on wat the album is about-heartbreak, and also less we 4get he lost mom not too long ago, so the ambience all kinda makes sense in a way. As per hip-hop, he is still very much on point, manages 2 give ill punchlines still on his new tracks, and represents hip hop very well. |

correct, tis about time a repair guy showed up. I had the red rings on my 360 a while ago, then sent it back to microsoft in d UK, and now ive got it back again.Hope dis one no go blow o |
hey shaz u jus got lucky, prob had a dictionry somewhere (lol), i challenge u to a rematch, where n when, so we cn get online simultaneously |
The NYTIMES writer gave his description of what happens in lagos very well. No doubt we nigerians are so expensive even in the midst of poverty. I would guess tht it is some kind of syndrome dat causes d drive dat makes us do wat we do. everybody wants to chop while they still can, without caring much about the less privileged. well, all i can say is: i sorry sorry o, 4 naija, |
Hey, would luv to challenge anyone worthy to play a scrabble champion. My hold in isc.ro is kazuya1. so u can match moi there. |
this is really sad, out of so many teachers, only FEW could pass a PRIMARY 4 exam. |
@freezze, I feel you bro, it is not eazy wit dem bills, take it eazy o. As for moi i tend to love-vendor myself to get money this season. i e Do what I do best, |
Obama has made history, he has brought change and hope to America and the World |
Tekken fans alike, news broke out recently that tekken, one of the best fighters around and a playstation exclusive, is to be ported to the xbox360 when its drops fall 2009. ur reactions, |
The whole NYSC scheme sucks, big time, as a present corper i can say that much. And since they recently ministered a huge building for the new NYSC HQ in abuja, i don't think NYSC is going anywhere! |
NICE POST! Its a dream that is pretty far fecthed, and something ppl may not know, and for real, is that the change comes fron none other than, wait for it, YOU! @ poster by the by, u forgot : * A nigeria with reduced or without corrupt leaders, armrobbers and no Malaria! |
hey wat about scrabulous.com, its a very good site to play scrabble online, with millions of ppl across d globe |
Well I a'int too big on politics and stuff, but I think Nigerians want Obama to win, probably because he is talking confidently positive, and a lot of Nigerians believe in, and react to positivity. On the other hand, some nigerians, i feel, are like zombies n jus follow the latest 'trend' of the world, and since everyone is shouting Obama, they jump on the bandwagon too, wit little or no knowledge of the dude, and this phenomenom can apply to a lot of things also, And not to mention the fact that he bears the same skin color as our behinds, ![]() |
That's true, speaking on graphics, i remember when ppl used to all be about, ''which one has better graphics: xbox or ps2'', and when ppl where yabbing the N64 cuz it still used carts and all. Anyway graphics, it seems, wud always be an issue to us. @ texazz do u stay in Nigeria, looking for console swapping partners thats if u r up to it. |
Not sure how graphics is supposed to influence a decision here, considering the 360 and PS3 are 99.9% identical in that dept.I am jus saying, i do not see how graphics in this context justifies anything. PS3 games stores some parts of the game u got on the HDD so that load times can be improved (faster). There r rumours that you could actually buy a bigger HDD seperately and attached it to ur PS3, not sure if it is thru USB sha. hear some ppl already doing it |
Hot games to expect on PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4 (already out), Resistance 2, Killzone 2, God of War 3, Tekken 6 & for 360: Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, Banjo Kazooie 3, Fable 2, Killer InstInct 3! These r jus some of the games anway. The 360 line up looks juicier to moi. Yeah I agree wit iykdee, on the fact that, u will definitely be missing something from one party, and also, new gen gaming IS expensive. Hmmm, not really played MGS 4, but I really enjoyed Sons of Liberty, it was so original, i think its d best in d series. |
Gears of War, perfect dark zero, looking 4 halo 3 and gta4. As a retro fan, and an avid fighter I still play some old classics like ssf2 turbo, killer instinct, sf third strike, sf alpha 3, mk trilogy (all arcade version). N i play em quite well, yeh and tekken 5, lass i 4get. Apart from all that sha, try my skills at scrabble at scrabulous.com |
@ texazz I dont buy ps3 games 4 12k, its jus an average. I know some thieves selling ps3 games, esp soccer franchises 4 15k, n others 4 10k (in abuja). Anyway, getting a good retailer anywhere may help matters. @ A2J both consoles hav an outstanding library of games, n d games u seem 2 like. Altho d 360 has a substantial no. altogether over d ps3, since obviously, it was released b4 d ps3. ps3 games r region free, and may cost about d same as their 360 counterparts (360 games aint region free, however some NTSC games do work on PAL 360s n vice-versa, refer to playasia.com 4 more on that aspect). A good deal would be 8k per game, then 4k for used ones. As 4 wat else u can do wit ur consoles: theres d conventional surfing, ummm, storing music, photos, videos, movies n even games on ur hard disc for viewing anytime. Hope all this helps in ur quest 4 some living room haven, as i said earlier u got to know wat games ur looking 4, check d net 4 ur taste n upcoming games if need be. I used to b a Nintendoid, heck, I still freaking am, d Wii jus doesnt cut it for me, n i think we can assume y, considerin u hav nt even mentioned it at all. Good Luck! |
@ mc brave fast broadband eh? well how about the arcade live, can u download content from there to ur HDD? thanx 4 d help. As 4 games i was wondering if u wud b willing 2 sell any of ur games, 2 moi, since u stay in PH it wud b quite funny if we decide to start swapping, by d way wats ur console's region? i jus got Gears of war, Halo, Splinter cell, n Perfect dark zero. looking 4 GTA 4 tho. |
hey a2j, well d choice of what current console 2 get in my opinion, majorly depends on wat kind of GAMER u r. i.e wat games do u like n look 4wd 2 playing. its a big comp out there so i dont particularly blame u 4 ur present dilemma. Prices of both consoles in question in Naija range from 35,000-80,000,naira for new ones, the latter is mostly d PS3 (80gig) or XBOX 360Elite (120gig). Well, um, dunno wat type of games u play but as far as popular games go, both consoles seem 2 hav their pockets loaded. Technically both consoles have wat it takes to keep u on dat couch holding their pads n drooling, tho d PS3 has a slight edge over d 360 in d multimedia dept wit blu-ray n all, but d 360 fights back wit a stronger online and downloadable content motive than its rival, n dare i say, a better pad. Games on each console, cost bout 12k on average, n r readily available at most popular electronic stores, wher do u reside? Not sure how vast d quantity of games r in states apart fm Lag and Abuja |
well i dont stay in PH, but i think i have an idea on ur enquiry:- Go to ur bank, check ur acc or pocket 2 see if u have at least 12k, go to an elecronic store, seek d game, take it to d counter n pay the recipient d cash, it works believe me, i tried it, lol, ![]() |
@mc brave Hey man, I have been really trying to get on XBOX Live, can u recommend anything I can do to get on that? Also, wud like to know where u live, not a bad bunch of games u got there wudnt mind swapping |
sup man. Came accross ur post, well i am actually interested in one of ur plates, which is halo 3, and was wondering how u wud like to sell it? |
