Whether or not he is 'fake', I haven't seen a bigger philantropist in Nigeria. The man preaches love and shows it, donating and helping the less priviledged regularly. That's what matters for me. Sorry, seems some of your kids have/had issues or you are making embellishments to buttress your points. 5/6 year olds jumping off storey buildings cos they want to imitate Superman? Samurai X was straight up gory.. I loved it. Voltron, Samurai Jack, Ghost busters, all violent. I think the trick is in restricting kids from watching these sort of cartoons till they get to a reasonable age like 6 or 7. Forcing an 8 year boy on Dora the Explorer tho is just plain cruel. |

Kids love violent cartoons generally. I did as a kid. Haven't turned out badly, at least I don't think so. A kid will always prefer Samurai X to Dora, even the 5 year olds. Unless you're going to talk about the spiritual aspect and how 'demonic' they are, I don't see what's wrong with them. That is of course, if your kid isn't too young. 1 Like |
