If you haven't tried it already, yes it works. There are cheaper alternatives to Rogaine tho, as long as it contains 5% or 10% minoxidil, it's good to go.
Minoxidil wasn't originally created to be used for beards but it's used steadily now and it's the ONLY scientifically proven way of growing beards for the genetically disadvantaged.
