I have a friend whose dad is a strong politician in the north Bauchi state to be precise (though not holding any political office), , He has connect with governors, members, reps within and outside the state..
The guy is the only Male child in the family, He wrote CBT but was not call for the interview, after the interview around October or so, The Dad connect to the GMD which is from Maiduguri, if he can help him fix his Son, but the GMD told him is late and the will soon do another recruitment. The guy came and was telling me what his dad discuss with GMD (I remember begging him to tell his dad we are two, when he told me his dad will connect him��)..
Another one was when my uncle asked for my details, that i should pray hard oo, there is a lot of interest everybody want to fix his own, and that thank God my state don't have much competition like the east and western states...
In my view it depends on ur location, performance, interest...

The last Friday which was the 31st of jan..After feeling frustrated abt the whole process (bc i never expect it 2 exceed jan..). I Called my uncle in evening, after exchanging pleasantries I ask him " How abt the nnpc list", his respond was " Its supposed to be release b4 now oo but i don't know what happened"...
Early morning today, I got a call from him, after the Morning greetings, he said again "Expect ur list this week".. I felt happy but at same time felt sad, after remembering several promises that failed (week in, week out since sept 2019), I didn't swallow this one like the first time he told abt the list, bc i felt like anything can happen...
I drop this info and said it as i was told, biko i no get strength to be defending whether it will happen this week or not.. If it happens fine but nobody shul come to head like say i hold the key to APL..
Am so so desperate about this list, the last two weeks he called, i ask shul i prepare if am on the list, he said don't worry just prepare and was like giving some advice to be careful with life, like say i don make am..

When someone claim he gat info, aside the pressure of waiting, he feels "it shul happen so that the won't take him as a liar" as if he is responsible for releasing the list, Nor wonder Jarus once said, he don't want of to predict APL coming Dec 31st even though his source mentioned it..
I ask my uncle as i promise, he said " It can be Next week but Just hold on, when it will happen I will let u know" he didn't sound sure...

Sound funny though, but the sad truth is some people here don't want to hear the word APL, it spoil there day. Not everyone here went for the interview, others stop at apt test stage, People we call our friends don't even want us to get this Nnpc job, because of envy, the feel we will be ahead of them...
I remember a friend that told me to my face, when he heard i went for interview that, forget about Nnpc the have there list already, I laugh and it thought me a lesson that not everyone around me is happy of my success..
That's by the way, my uncle is not the HR boss, Nor the GMD, but a senior staff at Tower, I sound sure last week bc i know his position. So I just confirmed from a second authentic source of mine (confirmed from one during the weekend), that everyone should be on the lookout for a mail between today and the end of this week. Confirmed & signed list is 100% ready (I don't know if letters have been printed or are going to be posted though, didn't want to bother my sources with any further request for more info as they gave me this info on their freewill). All I can say, is Glory be to God and may the notifications that will come be favourable to everyone, whether one gets the APL or not.

That was my point, not everyone in Tower knows what is happening in Tower, if u ask someone in tower, he may tell u the process is still on hold.. Not knowing what's going on underground.. If u ask ur source and he tells u nothing is happening, its possible he may not know what is happening...
