Not all women enjoys cooking, which means a woman might love you and still struggle to cook for you because she doesn't enjoy doing it

And I think that is where the word SACRIFICE was coined...You do things you don't like doing for the sake of those you loved....As a man, do you think we like going to work by 5am, everyday just to make sure we pay our bills and provide for those we love...No we don't!
I jokingly told a colleague recently that I can afford to resign my job by end of February, because my Jan/Feb salary is enough for me to manage till Dec, if am ALONE!!!

Thanks for the kind words.

There are not less than 20 people I've done work for free here..

Not everyone comes back to say Thank you...

I appreciate and I really hope that God reward me in a big way this year.... grin grin

Again... I APPRECIATE.

This bros here, helped me albeit anonymously in my small build last two year..Even up till the period of buying tiles, he was chatting me up ensuring I was getting the measurement right and I was not duped..Alot of folks did the opposite on this same platform...one of your favourite went to my site and almost double the measurement he gave me for POP and when @olukaygold visited my site and gave another measurement, I was dazed, had to visit the site myself and have him take the measurement in my presence because I was thinking he gave a low measurement to get the job and he will later come back for more money, olukaygold finish job without asking for an extra kobo..i just keep the two bros for one corner for my mind, once something big show, and very soon, na them straight!!!Continue to be good and no gree for anybody this year!!! But driving till late hour doesn't really mean so far you're doing your regular maintenance.

When I first collect my Corolla in 2022, I sometimes drive till 2am depending on my mood and strength and sometimes, I don't go out for 2days.

The car is still in tokunbo standard as I speak with less scratches on the body, then I got my Ford and I still drive it till late hour, infact, this December, the car really work, but it's still in topnotch cox I don't joke with maintenance...

I can spend 100k+ on maintenance at once if require and also, I'm always careful when driving and I don't carry loads or carry 5 passengers...

My response was just to partners that assumed that if they peg delivery to something below the usual standard, it will then translate to driver not over-using the vehicle..Some people assume that if they give their car for 20k, it means that the car won't be over-used by the driver..From experience, na lie!!!

Not true, read my old post!! I once gave a bankers Corolla for 15k when the average was between 25k to 30k...na still premium tears...The guy was driving till 11pm and sometimes 1am...If you make it lower thinking they won't USE your car, na lie...This people sees it as an opportunity to quickly use you CLIMB...You know what Yoruba call ategun (ladder)...

You gave the best offer for real.

Something that won’t tire out the vehicle , kill you , or stress the owner..

New drivers may think otherwise though

Dey play, even if you give it out for 10k per week, believe me they will use the car as if you ask Dem to pay 100k per week...There is no pity party in transport biz, it's either you play hard or you go home...And if you give ANY CAR for 25k, you will GO HOME!!!

2 days ago I took a trip on indrive for 8,100, got to rider's destination and she tried to do transfer with her access bank and it was having network issues. she later did it with opay. few minutes later I got another alert from her access. I called her to inform her of double payment and asked for her account number, she sent it immedjately and I sent her money. Till this moment, no confirmation from her that she has gotten it, no thank you, no 5 star😄. But if I have refused to send it now I would be trending on twitter and will be given 1 star.

These guys are theives! Something should be done about them. We can't fold out arms and watch them cheat us every now and then

I don't bother to engage them again, it's a waste of time...Thursday evening I got a trip and I move to pick up point, click am here and later had to call the rider because I was in a hurry, she said she's on her way that I should give her 2 mins...5 mins after she did not how up and I called again but she did not pick, then she cancelled and Indriver debited me immediately..I was not surprise, na their way...what I usually do now is that once I get another trip that is of similar value, I drove to the pick up, I won't click am here, once rider show up and we move, I'll click rider did not show up..That is the way I get my REFUND!! Usually rider will ask oga did you cancel, I will answer madam na network it will reconnect...otilor

Hopefully by 2024, let us try as much as possible to put to rest this issue of Fuel/how much I gross/net and all of that...I use 5k to net 20k discussion...E don tey abeg...The truth is, some of the info on it here is tainted with half truth and outright lies in most cases and I really cannot fault it..Your realities on the field might be different from mine and no two cars can completely be the same as most of us na btw 18 to 25 years old car we dey drive...in a way, you cannot dispute any info someone put here as you won't find any evidence to do that..For instance, I enter filling station and I got 10k fuel, that is all we know, you could have gotten 13k fuel but say 10k to arrived at a predetermined conclusion..That extra 3k fuel can change the dynamics...pls what evidence do I have to counter that, I enter filling station with you? Do I know the trip you took before taking a screenshot of your Guage?
I am an accountant and also a trained auditor and I can smell half-truth from a mile but can we just move on instead of all this clickbat and unnecessary name-calling, insult etc..The truth is, if you drive regularly, we all know what is applicable; we know what you can net/gross with 5k fuel if you drive a 1.8 ltr engine. We know you can get MORE sometimes, we know we all have our LUCKY days sometimes, we know it can be very bad sometimes, we know average of what you can make on a regular, sometimes more, sometimes less and we know everyday is not your good or bad day....If you know all this, then why arguing nau, just move ON!! If someone's says something that is diff from your own realities on the field, abeg just say OKAY....You have indirectly spoken to the person's conscience..just Waka pass..

There are some people who understand "situations". There are some situations you will need to leave ASAP to get to your house/destination.
But some mumu people go still reduce amount even when there's traffic at night.

Not really baba, I think the biz is kinda saturated now, especially for indrive, driver PICK ANYTHING!

Madam: Please, will you go to ....... after this trip and how much together?
Me: I will, but let me check before charging you.
I checked after getting to indrive destination and came up with a good price which most riders will decline instantly.
Me: Madam, are you good with 5k, plus the initial 2k5, making 7500?
Madam: I will round it up to 8000
Me: Oh! Increased my AC to 3, make I give Madam Moscow treatment.

Lol, some month ago I saw a trip from v.i to ogudu for 12k around 10pm.. I pick it even before checking the price because it's a destination trip...later I was worried that hope this person will pay, I no get muscle for fight o...I was driving and the young lady was just chilling making calls..we got to ogudu and she wanted to get sharwama by the road side, had to chill for another 10 mins, we got to GRA, she apologies for wasting my time, did transfer and I saw 15k...all Tru the trip, I was so so bothered whether the 12k she put na mistake abi she mean am...would have taken that trip for 2k!!!

I tend to agree with people who call these whole stuff a racket.

There is no way you would build anything in Lagos, that you won't be bamboozled with permits.

From Local governments, to LASBCA, na so you go dey pay. So how come nobody told them it was illegal? Why will the government be giving permits for illegal structures?

Today, Epe is the new rave. I have not seen Lagos state warning people not to buy there. 10 years later, you will hear that the place was for a future nuclear station.

It's possible, but nobody will intentionally sink hundreds of millions to build on somewhere illegal.

I disagree with you, the truth is, an average Nig can be very very stubborn and greedy....Yes, he/she can invest hundreds of million in an illegal structure..The man that claim his house was worth over 300 million said it was a swamp, and they are the one that reclaim it, pls reclaim it from who? The truth is, THEY KNOW IT WAS AN ILLEGAL LAND AND THEY KNEW THIS WILL HAPPEN, they just don't know that it will HAPPEN SO SOON!!! Let me tell you how they operate in Alausa, if you say you're a crook, you will find an equal crook in Alausa, ready to issue you ANY DOCUMENT for a price...Moreover, it is not Lagos state that owns that land but rather federal housing authority FHA, the owner of FESTAC...and they are the one doing the demolition.... usually this people assumed that govt will come but NOT NOW, and if they do, they will NEGOTIATE!!! Sometimes negotiation just don't work, even moreso when the politics is against you, am not sure that demolition will take place if it is their brother Obi that won the election, he will know how to manage his own..

Yesterday being Sunday, I went out of my radius.
Picked one babe from Rococo restaurant on Ozumba Mbadiwe and destination was Alimosho.
On our way going, she was talking to a man who was identified as BF and she asked me if she could change location to Shagamu. She wanted to meet her boyfriend.
On hearing this place, omoh, I declined straight, and we were already on 3mb.
She sha dey beg me say make I take her, though she was lively and a free-talker, but I was like wetin I wan go do for Shagamu nah?
Her fare amount to Alimosho was 6.7k and I was like, which kind change of location be this?
After some friendly and cheerful discussion, I sha changed my mind and said "lemme take this challenge" for once.
We agreed on summing everything up to 20k.
Omoh, na so I fired down to Shagamu ooh.
Driving from Iyana Oworo to her destination in Shagamu was 50mins on a complete free and 'trafficless' road.
We just fired down with some mad gbedu from my playlist.
Dropped her at her boyfriend's hotel and received 20k inside my Opay instata.
Make I burst una bubbles, I fired back to Lagos alone. No roadside pickup. Just me, my ac and gbedu. smiley
I left my app on on my way back and I got a trip notification going to Ikeja (5k+) on getting to Mowe, I ignored though, cos I already drove past where the person was when I sharperly put the pickup point on the map.
Heading straight towards FRSC on isheri to position on Akinsanya street before the FRSC office, Ojodu Berger, got a nice trip notification from Morgan estate going to Ajah/Sangotedo. Omoh, I pick am oooh. grin
I said we go rugged am like that cheesy. Dropped the person at Shoprite. 1hr 15mins trip. No wahala.
Dropped the person and positioned opposite Shoprite, sangotedo. Got my last trip to Joygate hotel on Airport Road, Ajao.
1hr 08mins drive, fired down. Closed for the day before 10pm and total gross was 63k+. Fuel 15k.

Much respect, bosses.

Glad to see that you tried something out of your comfort zone...I have said it before, Longggghh trip is the way to go with this hike in fuel...If you can do an average of 4 long trip in a day, you will make something reasonable....if you're a full time driver, target long trip...Short trip is TIME consuming, drained your fuel faster...and with very little to show for it..Before you do 5 short trip on indriver, you might have spent up to 3 or 4 hours on it with just a total of maybe 6k but just one long trip of less than 2 hour, you're getting not less than 10k on a free road..

Good morning guys! Please I'm considering on joining the hustle, can anyone please suggest me some low fuel consumption cars that fits in this business for 1.5m

Calm down first!! I will advice you keep that money, maybe fix deposit for 3 month, try and hire a car for now..This is ember period, earning is expected to increase..Work like your life depends on it, within 3 to 6 month you should have save something reasonable to add to that 1.5 ( should be more if you fix it) to buy a decent nig used car.....
Pls don't go for any accord and don't go to CAR45..You won't see any reliable car suited for the Hussle for that 1.5....
My worry is just if tok Corolla won't be 7 million in six month time, which will affect nig used also...Perhaps, you can take a loan now and buy...Just raise your budget, in anyway you can, please...

Are you sure of this your last statement? My exact thought when I read it first!!
From MY EXPERIENCE as a partner; if you are PAYING REGULARLY and as at WHEN DUE; relationship is easy to maintained..Na money partner want, once you dey pay no wahala..
The truth is, your relationship with your partner don dey get k-leg before the issue of the engine came up...What he did was actually what he's been planning to do and the opportunity present itself, he grabbed it..I will do the same..
Three years ago, I collected a Corolla from my driver, I simply told him that I needed to use the car for an event for the weekend, he brought the car on a Saturday and I sold it on Monday!! Relationship end!!!
To be frank, why I am not absolving some partner, I honestly do not see any reason why a driver should not be ABLE TO PAY 35K per week, EASILY...I make average of 12-15k driving to island from mainland Monday to Friday and I still do my 8 to 5pm work..I can easily take a HP and I will COMPLETE IT without default, once the car is in good shape...Some of you just hate to pay what you owe...My former driver confided in someone that he doesn't know what his partner (ME) dey take money do, according to him, am working, my wife is working, I have a small family and I don't have bukata, unlike him with so many responsibility...Let us be responsible with our obligation..
