It will be very helpful for everyone, if Op can point out the difference between the fake Runall battery and Original Runall battery .

Because , the fake of this battery is well saturated in the local market

Op is not interested and I wonder why at first...This is something he should enlightened us, the buyer but I recently concluded that OP is perhaps the one supplying the fake runall bat3...Better run from him

Exactly, it's easy to comfort people but not easy to bear I appreciate friends who stood by me when I lost my father in 2011 and my mum in 2022 both to I'll health but one thing is sure the Bible has promised at Rev 21 :4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

You can always console yourself with this promise anytime you lose your loved ones because God's promises are true and must come to pass

If riders like, let them rate all drivers low for not using AC, by the time all main apps blocks drivers, rider will still be the one to suffer it to get rides on time...

Looks at bolt now, they have lost almost all their drivers to indriver....
I get trip then follow by a call from rider asking if I will use AC...I don't even drive alone without AC.... quality dey drop steady

You can't be earning less than 600k and be paying 15k everyday for transportation, that's not wise at all.

You're saying 20k fuel will cover Lagos to Oyo Trip, to and fro.

20k fuel is just 32litres o which is just a little above half tank, how can that cover to and fro.

You better start facing reality than pitying or else, you go work work and nothing to show for it...

Yea am assuming he's a Corolla or matrix..Mine will do it.

It's a day's journey so not that bad though..20k fuel go run am and I don't expect you finish am.... Honestly, I don dey pity rider small small, my regular rider pay 15k to and fro (mainland-V.i) everyday, sometimes I wonder how dey cope..That's like 300k monthly excluding weekend parol for TP alone..And this is similar to many other regular rider...How much do they really earn? You'll be surprise that many do not even have 500k in their account! Nig (not this govt alone) dey deal with all of us.

Early last year I was motivated to start a beer distribution business, I did my research bought the land and constructed the building.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't know someone is selling just few blocks to where I acquired the land. Although the competitor was a small scale but I do not want to compete because there is also a coke/pepsi depot right next to it.

I've decided to go into manufacturing but I'm not sure what I could do. I need ideas and possible the required capital that would start it.

Please no pure water factory suggestions.

Thank you.

That is a multimillionaire project..You should have all this figure out already.. Nevertheless, I will suggest you rent it out for now, then take all the time to THINK DEEPLY about what's best for you..Later and soon enough, you would know whether to port or continue rentals.. you will figure it out.
Congrats in advance.

Over the years a lot of car dealers have fallen short of expectations on this platform. They have defrauded clients and they have either left or have started using new profiles.

The thread title for starters is not appropriate . A contract was entered into by both parties to purchase and deliver a vehicle . Money was paid to purchase the vehicle , vehicle was purchased. Vehicle was not resold to a third party vehicle was not stolen or vandalized . So for starters fraud does not come to play.
What you have here is a common situation that happens once in a while . It has happened to every vehicle importer on this platform.

One of the reasons I will not tolerate kakaki slander is because he is one of the very few good guys who have integrity , one of the few good guys that you can send 100's of millions of naira and sleep easy. He has built a name for him self by being upright in his dealings.

Again as I said if I was in his shoes and I was threatened this way, I would refund the exact amount credited to me.

Business does not always go the way we expect and he is doing his best.

A lot of dealers have come and gone, but kakkaki stands out and will continue to thrive because of his integrity. I will continue to defend him.

For NOW, I completely agree with you that this is not a case of FRAUD yet, though perhaps a case of dishonesty and not completely saying the WHOLE TRUTH!!! I have known KAKAKIAUTOS on NL for years ONLY as a dealer and to be honest by now, I expect him to EXPLAINED everything that could probably go wrong to his client...It is unfortunate that the buyer is just getting to know that there is something called PENDING TITLE! It shouldn't be. Obviously, this pending title thing is not new, definitely most buyers would'nt know so the seller, or an HONEST seller that is not just after profit should have spell it out, most especially knowing that 45M is involved.
Most unfortunately, COMMUNICATION has been very very poor..You, GAZZUZ seems to have ignore that fact, albeit wittingly!
I honestly cannot advice the OP, I would just say that guys should try to have some kinda of documented and legal agreement that is binding! Spending maybe 500k to have a binding agreement in a contractual transaction worth 45M is not too much! Why it is good to defend our friends and stand up for them, let's show some empathy and be fair especially when we dish out what we , perhaps cannot take!

The truth is, we can never completely overcome the grief we had when we lose our love ones, we only try not to be overwhelmed by it....and we take solace in the fact that they have gone to rest....Deep rest from this wicked system of things...Jesus likened death to DEEP SLEEP...Reason why he refer to his friend, Lazarus as someone who had gone to sleep!
We take solace in the fact that our love ones are no longer in PAIN or any form of distress... Reading this page really gave me some goosebumps honestly and also brought back some memories I am doing my best not to remember..But for whatever it's worth, I pray that anyone going through the pain of losing their love ones finds joy in the everlasting promise of resurrection....e no easy at all...we go dey alright.

lol it’ is still verbal agreement and it is not enforceable. You cannot enforce “dem say him say” . What if OP said the agreed price for the car was 20 million and he returned the money when the other guy tried to change it to 3 million? Who can dispute it ? No evidence, No case😃. What if op said he gave him the cash to keep so they can start a business together ? Like the installment can be for anything at all. It can even be for OPs TV or a bag of Agbado 😃. There are a thousand and one thing a rookie lawyer can come up with as long as there are no paper trail that says other wise. The other guy might end up paying heavily for damages especially for “going street “ if OP countersue with a bogus claim. Verbal agreement is all words of mouth and the court would rather maintain status quo.

I get you sincerely but note that the OP is asking to know if what he has done is okay and fair enough! And from my response, I honestly think it's not fair on the part of OP to renege an agreement! From everything you put up here, you only speak to the criminal mind of an average Nigerian and that make me to ask you " Do we really want this country to be better"...you are asking OP to go and LIE and renege on something that was agreed upon, gentlemanly...Even to pay a lawyer to help him deny what he knows to be the truth! Common, this is the same thing the agbado man is doing and you're no diff...OP is at fault and I also condemned the buyers action or resort to self help...two wrongs don't make a right!
Car Talk / Re: My Neighbour Jacked Up My Car by dapotemi: 11:59am On Feb 17
Missowombo:
Dear Family landers. I am here to seek your advice on how to rescue my car from my neighbour.

I bought a car, direct from abroad, a very clean and sweet ride, and registered in September, 2023 (5months ago). However, due to the high fuel consumption( V6, 3.5l engine) and the ever unstable fuel price today, I decided to put it up for sale to get a smaller engine capacity. A neighbour expressed interest in buying the car and decided to pay in installment which I agreed. I was also searching for a replacement at this time hoping to use the money realized from the sales to get my preferred ride. My preferred ride prices were shockingly high such that even if I doubled the price I gave to my neighbour it will still not be enough to buy the new ride. Prices rise by the hour these days in Nigeria and I have no hand in this crisis. I returned to my neighbour to inform him that I will not be selling the car anymore due to the present crises in prices of goods in the country. I apologized profusely for every inconvenience and transferred his money back to him. He got angry and said that I must submit the car key and documents to him. He even threatened to send his community and area boys to beat me up and extract the above items.

I came back from work to see my car jacked up, surrounded by 2 other vehicles to prevent the car's exit. For the records, there is no written or signed agreement between him and I concerning this sale. I refunded all his money 1 day after he paid his last installment and kept back my car. I have no hand in Nigeria's current problems. I am pushed to use force here but I am thinking that some initial peaceful resolution could be an option.

You have a bad case, legally and morally.Whatever happens to the 'economy' is not your neighbours fault!
I'll be honest with you, immediately the last instalment was PAID, the car no longer belongs to you and you're supposed to go to your neighbor to 'repurchased' if you need it back.
Oral agreement can be enforce in court..My suggestion will be, get some reputable people on the street to meet him, do not BEG him, don't make it seems so, don't be the weaker person..Just make it be more like you just don't want wahala! Something of that nature ..I believe he will listen, involve other neighbors if they are reasonable people...Secondly, involve the police, but not the ones in your neighborhood as you claim they know him well ..Look for someone that knows someone that knows someone, you know that kind of thing nau, just for them to be AWARE! I think the man just want to show you craze, he will calm down...Going forward, avoid doing biz with neighbors or people around you..I learnt that lesson a long time ago .Imagine if he's an outsider, he won't even be able to come close to the car or your house, na even your neighbour/street boys go pursue am..Be calm but na your fault sha to be honest.

Interesting but I have to laugh at the bolded. The idea of a fair playing ground is a myth. As a migrant, your access to many things are limited. Go there with a visitor's visa, try to work with it and see if you will have access to anything, not even a place to rent even if you have the money. Do you know how many Nigerians that are in shelters and makeshift houses in Canada? Need I mention those in basements? Where's the fair ground that you are talking about? They are barely living over there and are struggling to survive, take my word for it. Only those with PR and specialized skills live an average normal life. Same with UK. Don't even mention US lol.

As per doing business in Nigeria, it may seem hard but it all depends on the line of business you choose to go into. There are many businesses one can do here and get by. Bolt isn't even one of it. Why waste so much to get visa, travel out to live a mediocre life when you can invest the money in Nigeria and increase your worth within a couple of years? It doesn't make sense. Where are you running to when your country is not at war?
Are you really sure of this? I can't even step out of my house since morning because anywhere you turn to someone is asking you for financial help and it's already frustrating!!! I think we are at war, na only cutlass we never carry!

The bolded is a serious case! some clients are so kind to understand your predicament, you can't blame others (client) who feel it doesn't make sense, it's really annoying. The vendors are the greedy ones, a stock he bought for ₦50 per unit after calculating all expenses (Transportation cost etc) he decided to sell the stock to gain profit for ₦150 per unit, you go to this vendor to buy for ₦150 on Monday, the vendor will tell you that if you come the next day, he'd sell the same stock for ₦200 because market price has increased, the same stock he bought for ₦50 ooh.

Pure Greed!!!

In Accounting, there is what we call replacement cost..If the vendor decided to sell for 50 naira as you've advocated, abeg how is he going to get another one to his shop?

Just like what I wrote on Instagram a while ago

I support this 100 percent. Infact they should make it ten years sef . The same with Doctors and Dentists. This should however be mostly applicable to graduates of government tertiary institutions funded through subsided education

However the government should also do better for medical personnel in Nigeria. Increase their pay and employ more hands not this nonesense government does every now and then

I was happy when I saw it, it's long overdue...Like you said, for those who went to tertiary institution ONLY!!!You cannot go Tru a subsidize rate and yet govt won't get to enjoy your service..and I agree that govt should pay them more, atleast!!!But tell me any professional that is getting good salary except for politician..
