Wizardslayer:What a kindergarten thinking and mindset 😉😄 Very funny. A demon is a demon, there is nothing far manageable about a demon. A lone superpower that is a demon is not really manageable,Na play you dey play😆😆. Nigeria is gone already. That is why the US always cries democracy should spread over the world, but not sincere about it because they know western democracy cant work in every society but they use it as a tool, a smokescreen to push their national interests, the US is not father christmas and there must be something to pay either in the negative or positive most times in the negative when you deal with them and they violate your sovereignty in this way . |
manuelkel:If there is insecurity in the country, then protect yourself, gbam . Talking about insecurity, Awolowo warned the North that the ruling elite should educate their followers but they prefer the almajiri system in order to subjugate them which they are now suffering the consequences now. You are talking out of mere frustration . Even if there is insecurity in the land, we cant develop artificial blindness to other good things we see everyday. |
LegendHero:Making them self sufficient, when you yourself you are still struggling financially. You can only make them self sufficient when you have made it . It is trying to make them self sufficient while you are still struggling that is so bad. Also the black tax burden . |
1vandragon:The past administrations built roads but is it the same design and quality. The one being built in my State currently is built using reinforced concrete, roads built like this stands the test of time. Some lasting 20 to 30 years. It is not like past administrations did not built roads. It is the quality. How many governments or administrations has built super highways since the inception or our national independence. What is what commending is what commending. And mind you, what you feel is just your opinion . |
Greattha:That general's statement is not valid, it only holds in a military government or a government held by revolutionaries, not in the kind of government we have these days bedevilled by saboteurs bent on making things fail, tribalism and religion not even helping matters. It is not all statements that are valid, it will only be valid based on context and scenario. The man speaking is a general coordinating a military government, it is very different, my brother . |
Helinuse:You can't wipe out a religion or belief, especially when it has a very large followership or believers running into several millions around the world. All what you mentioned above are not synonymous with religion. Religion is totally different in its entirety. What can be wiped out is Islamic fundamentalism or extremists, also known as Wahabbism. But the religion itself, its impossible. Large parts of South East Asia are dominated by Muslims. Bangladesh, Parts of Northern India, Pakistan, Indonesia( the largest muslim population in the world), Malaysia, the entire Middle East and North Africa including Sudan, Mali and Chad including other countries where muslims are. Wiping out the religion is not the solution. |
Freshandfitpod:You people keep walking in blindness clouded by religious sentiment, our main enemy is the West, these criminals are foreign sponsored by foreign intelligence agencies to destabilises the country, Nigeria is getting it right thru reforms though coming with some pain, but the West does not want Nigeria to get it right. It is a clandestine operation to destabilise the country because they know how religio-'centric we are, and also playing on the weakness that the President and VP are muslims. That is how foreign intelligence agencies have destabilising countries since times immemorial to keep these countries under and subjugated . Imagine a country like France hiring mercenaries to attack a military airbase to steal uranium, doesnt that tell you something . |
babajero:Did you study History in Primary school ? Or it was removed before you started school ? Kwara is partly yoruba, but mostly dominated by Fulani. Kwara also has a lot of ungoverned spaces unlike main yorubaland . |
OnyeObowo1:Who will mark your word ? Prophet of doom. So if there is no Nigeria,:before election, then start packing your luggages now, because you have already declared yourself a refugee, and a refugee and IDP you shall be . |
iwaeda:Who you dey warn ? When did you become DSS to dey warn on insecurity on Nairaland. A beg go chop eba, drink small garri on top am ,go sleep . |
sweetjohn:The mission of Arabs is to destroy Isreal and the West ? Who gave them the mission ? Your blind analysis shows how ignorant you are about world affairs ? Do you even know how large the Arab world is ? Isreal does not threaten any of of its neighbours but carries out strikes in countries that are even US allies in Middle East without carrying them along and you say such countries do not threaten other states. At times, when people analyse, it is better you have full intel at your disposal so that your analysis dont sound foolish. What you dont understand, is always greater than you . |
mrkia:I wonder o, Isreal itself is under a curse, which is biblical, a country that is always under apprehension, fear always jittery such countries days are numbered .So because you exist, other nations should remain in the stone age, Tufiakwa. I am cocksure, Egypt wont accept that . Isreal the earlier you start seeking peace and diplomatic solutions with your neighbours the better for you . Genocidal criminals, yet they keep claiming victims of Nazi Holocaust. Claiming victims of what you are guilty of . |
LeeSmart:Can i hear you say world ? Isreal cannot speak for the world, neither can it be a watchman for the world, they know the kind of nations they can bully, Egypt is not part of them. If they can deal with Egypt easily, Netanyahu does not need to come out with a public statement. They know what to do. But they know the historical military antecedent of Egypt, Egypt is not a pushover, Egypt flushed them out of the Sinai Peninsula under Late Hosni Mubarak, who was Vice President and head of the Egyptian Airforce in the 70s, if they are now checking Egypt what is the essence of the Camp David Accords brokered by President Jimmy Carter ? Or maybe they want to pull out. Egypt cannot be held down and it is a country that cant be bullied. it is a great symbol of african heritage and civilization. |
Chibuzoc:Oga, go relax, Xenophobia is not synonymous with genocide, Xenophobia is synonymous with racism, and racism is rampant in every corner of the world in various degrees even in Western countries like the United States. |
MeaslesMumpsRub:Don't be surprised, it is very common, in this part of the world, people are really confident and take pride in Ignorance. And are not ready to bulge with their archaic mentality that is why you seem them stagnant like a dirty lake. |
FxMasterz:Your analysis is very dumb. They were fighting Iran so who were they fighting, they killed Iranian nuclear scientists and Iranian generals yet you claim they are not fighting Iran. You attack the national pride of a nation. Its military yet you say they are not fighting Iran. I have never seen an analysis as dumb as this. You claim you know something yet you know nothing . So are you saying the Iranians dont like military might, no. The reasons for the Iranian protests is economic not about Iran's military aspirations. |
Dogalmighty17:Go find out who an influencer is ? You are obviously from the old school. A millenial . An influencer could be a celebrity, an artist, an entrepreneur who has a large follower base on social media who influences public opinion and drive thought leadership. Top business brands work with influencers to execute their campaigns . |
Kingzjayzee:The truth of the whole matter is Nigerians are not discerning, aerial bombardments cannot solve terrorism, it involves the military and the social approach. Aerial bombardments without proactive ground operations will make these terrorists more deadlier. And the United States coming to Nigeria, to fight terrorism under the guise of protecting one religious group over another will further polarise the country. Even a country that has predicted doom for this country in the past should not have being allowed to intervene militarily in Nigeria. We are not an ally of the United States. And if these strikes continue, and there are civilian casualties, the unenvisaged will eventually happen. A major escalation will ensue. Anti US forces will be eventually reeled into the conflict. Which will eventually spell doom for Nigeria but Nigerians are not discerning . Though, Sheikh Gumi hobnobs with bandits, he also speaks sense at times . In which country has the US being able to eliminate terrorism, dey play . Apart from protecting their homeland, mere hypocrites . |
Mattswaggz:It is not propaganda, The US is the number one terrorist nation in the world. What is happening to the US and the West is pure karma. All US actions is to further their political influence and interests around the world. A country struggling for survival. When a country armes dissident groups and militias to fight a country with a different political ideology ? What is that called ? Go and check your dictionary. It is plainly terrorism. The West have being involved in these atrocities for decades. When you are a student of world history, there are some issues you dont need to debate about. But when you choose to bask in the lake of ignorance, you seem like a fool in the midst of intellectuals, |
SarcasticWords:You are getting it wrong, these terrorists are not true muslims, they are radicals and wahabbists, when you understand religious history, you will be free from all these sentiments, inability to dig into the past, you will remain shallow, Christians have also followed this route before, anyone who kills to defend a religion is a fundamentalist and it has also happened in Christian history . |
AqualinaXYZ:The Christmas night missile strikes were not launched from fighter jets, they were launched from naval destroyers situated in the eastern flank of the Atlantic and were hell-fire cruise missiles. Do you know that even if you are the jet pilot that flew the jet, after bombing the Southwest, you yourself will have to commit suicide before you land that fighter jet, you know what, go and calm down and sleep you dont know how the military works. Your statement and way of thinking, i can easily decipher what your age will be . |
Sonnobax15:What you dont know is that no country can go into any country and carry out a military operation without informing the country, the Nigerian government is aware of the operation. Talking about Benin, Nigeria intervene militarily based on a request by the Beninoise President, Patrice Talon for military support. What is even the difference between Benin and Nigeria. Benin is the 37th State of Nigeria. Benin is an extension of Southwestern Nigeria, historically and culturally, though colonized by France. So intervention in Benin is not absurb at all . US is generally overrated and they also have their internal problems as well . |
DatNiggaDaz:Just painting everything in religious colours, is it a matter of muslim-muslim ticket, was there electricity crisis last year. This is just mere coincidence, electricity will be restored in time. |
slivertongue:Mr.Economist, when does devaluation of the naira become a treasonable felony, i just wonder where people get their absurb knowledge from. Is that in the Nigerian constitution? Can i know the section and subsection where it is ? They keep infecting other people with their ignorance. To declare an act, treason it must violate the supreme law of a nation. And devaluation of currency does not fit into that . |
johnmartus:You are getting it wrong, governments globally tax income. If you are not doing anything or jobless, and not receiving anything you wont be taxed. Any transfer or transaction that shows from its origin that is a form of income will be taxed . Taxes from income is normal. And even these new tax laws the rich pay more that the poor . Any political elite or business man against these tax laws are not speaking for the masses but their personal interests . |
Originality007:So if Isreal has well advanced missiles and drones, why are they always jittery at Iran's ballistic missiles program. Iran is indeed an existential threat to Isreal . |
Namigotalktru:China is not a political model for a Western styled democracy. Though China is a great nation, it is not a democracy, they have issues with human rights, We are not Chinese.:There are many ways to effectively tackle corruption without a death penalty. Corruption is tackled from the smallest unit of society.:The more you look, the less you see . |
ayoncox:Yorubas has a wider influence in West Africa, from the South West to as far as Benin, Togo and Some parts of Ghana, the Old Oyo Empire under Oranmiyan and Sango covered the whole of Benin known as Dahomey and Parts of Togo,.That is why Benin Republic is called the 37th State of Nigeria,There is really no difference between Benin Republic and Yorubaland in terms of language and culture. And yorubas do marry Ghanaians a lot ? |
LegendHero:Tinubu understands power and influence and its laws, chief political strategist and strongman, one of his greatest abilities is identifying and building leaders. As an astute leader, critics are better in your government , than sycophants |
SamuraiXXX:This is not about hope, to get to that level with youtube you are already making mega cool bucks with Youtube. |
seunowa:That Jagaban he is called, is a chieftancy title, The Jagaban of Borgu. Just like Asiwaju of Lagos . |

like is it not the duty of the government to provide such infrastructures?? What's the national budget for?? It's the duty of the government so therefore, nothing special with road constructions when there are insecurities in the nation.
