About 40 football fans are now feared dead in the south-southern Nigerian city of Calabar after a high tension cable reportedly fell, leading to their electrocution late on Thursday.
It is understood that the fans were gathered at a viewing centre in Atimbo area of Calabar to watch the UEFA Europa League game between Manchester United and RSC Anderlecht.
The live high tension cable reportedly broke off from its anchor and fell on the viewing centre which housed the fans causing panic

I am so mad right now .I received an sms from mtn that I would get a whooping 17GB if I buy N2000 worth of data.I didn't mind that it was gonna last the weekend I hurriedly subscribed for it .at exactly 12 midnight I put up a few downloads which was not more than 5GB and went to sleep only for me to wake up this morning to check my balance and wow, I have 1.6GB remaining? Hian? I checked again it was for real. I told me self relax maybe it's an error or something. So I calmed down and checked again in 5 minutes and to my horror I was told I have exhausted my data bonus.
I sharply called their customer care and guess what I was told that I actually finished 17GB in six hours like in six freaking hours with which network bros? At 400kbps/second? Abi and the downloads av not even reached half?
Please officially mtn is a scam even their call bonus is a massive scam and please I will appreciate if this post is taken to front page to help unsuspecting victims avoid this..please if you have experience this treachery I will love your comments on what to do to bring this scam of company called MTN to justice

The only cheapest option I had was airtel midnight plan, but right now it's not working and I need to make a download asap. Please if you have any other option for heavy download that is quite cheap (maybe a time based plan) for any other network pls comment.

If you really need unlimited downloads you cant spend anything less than 20 or 25k for glo or mtn respectively.if you need this set up pm me

Signed for Netflix 3 days ago. Myself and Wifey watched 7 HD Movies, 1 Documentary, and 3 Episodes of a Series. Just within 3 days it has exhausted 60GB of Data from Swift that costs 25k. So I have decided to get rid of Netflix for now.

Nigeria is not Ripe for Netflix until our ISPs begin to Offer Fast and Unlimited Internet Subscription. DSTV appears to be the only Reasonably Priced option for now.

I am very disturbed and confused right now. I have several websites hosted with him and i discovered recently that his host is down which automatically affects all my sites. I have been trying to reach him tru e-mails and facebook but he isnt replying me..my subscription is yet to expire.The numbers he gave me are not working.I am just wondering why he is making me come to nairaland the second time to look for him.Please if anyone knows his whereabouts or a means of contacting let me know
