pay visa fee, all he's going there to do is to convince
the CO that he is really your mum's husband and also he
Needs to come up with a good reasons for not interested;
They will need to show their marriage Cert and other prove
prove of their relationship.

so your Dad have to be at the interview even though he wishies
not to proceed with you guys. And then he can tell d CO of his

2, Your Mum will need to show marriage Cert, Wedding album,

okeymen: your mum did well to say she is married and include details of your dad otherwise she would have been disqualified. it doesn't matter whether or not your dad wants to go with you, all documents need to be available to support the information on the forms. you will tell them at the time of interview that your dad is not interested and that will not get you in any sort of trouble. Also, i believe you won't have turned 21 by the time your visa is issued.

XYZZ: how old her you. because if you are above 21 no show for u be that ...

lagbabe: all u need to do is print 2 or more copy of d form u already made mistake incase u make anoda mistake.Now fill d form correctly wit d new information u want to add or remove,if its d form dat needs passprt fotograph attach it,check 2ce to be double sure u av given d right info dis time,scan nd send back to d email address,u'd get an automated reply mail,ignore,say in a week or so,dey'd send u anod mail confirming d receipt of ur document.if u wish,u can asterick d part on d form u adjusted.I think dis shld help.All da best.

VisaOfficer: Whatever you do, you must be truthful during the interview. When people present fraudulent documents, or lie about a material fact, they can be permanently barred from the United States. I would also take this opportunity to point out that Embassies and Consulates have a strong working relationship with local law enforcement, and that the number of persons who are arrested after trying to obtain visas through fraud / deception is rising as we crack down on Diversity Visa fraud.

That said -- and I don't mean to imply that you specifically would falsify anything -- your mother does not have time to get a new occupation. A person must have worked in a qualifying occupation for at least two years. If there is a way for your mother to obtain the equivalent of a secondary school degree between now and her interview, that would qualify her; but please don't listen to anyone who offers to provide her a fake document. That could have extremely serious repercussions.

VisaOfficer: I'm afraid fashion design is not a qualifying profession, and your mother will not qualify for a Diversity Visa. Here's what the rules say:

The Department of Labor (DOL) O*Net Online database groups job experience into five "job zones". While many occupations are listed on the DOL website, only certain specified occupations qualify for the Diversity Visa Program. To qualify for a Diversity Visa on the basis of your work experience, you must, within the past five years, have two years of experience in an occupation that is designated as Job Zone 4 or 5, classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) range of 7.0 or higher.

At the O*Net database, the profession of Fashion Designers is classified as Job Zone 3, and therefore does not qualify for the Diversity Visa. http://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/27-1022.00

I would strongly advise your mother not to waste her money applying for the visa, given that she does not meet the qualifications.

okeymen: Qualifying based on work experience can be quite difficult so I dont envy her at all.

Anyway, there is a website that can be used to evaluate work experience and her job has to fall under Job Zone 4 or 5, classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) range of 7.0 or higher. in view of this, you may want to rethink the job title becasue fashion design seems not to meet this requirements. Please, dont let me pour cold water on her dreams. I just believe that the better prepared you are, the better your chances. XYZZ: I don't think its a big issue, they might tell her to demonstrate some tailoring skill or they might not even ask her, it depends on the CO, but better-still, she should be ready for any question concerning her skill.
