hi everyone, this is my first time coming across this thread. I'd very much like information on the following.
1) Am a B.Sc graduate of botany with second class lower, i have interest in pursue a Masters degree and PhD in Bio-technology or a Masters of Energy(a B.Sc science is part of the criteria). please what are my chances?
2) 15,000 NZD is not a small money as of nw its 3.5 mill in NGN, Is there scholarship i can root for that covers @least a good amount of that sum?

So here's wats happened wit UBA,

Apparently d previous head of HR drop down d cutoff mark nd a lot of peepz passed but d new Head of HR has said his nt goin 2 use dt cutoff nd hence all dos below a certain mark got a regret mail.... nd nw dey are starting the whole screening process for a new batch all over again, plus dos who actually got a gud mark are very few......
Hence a lot of peepz over d nxt few weeks wud get oppurtunity 2 write d test nd meet 4 interview....

Hi, d first stage is ur test if ur successful u' d get an interview wit d HR. dats d stage wer most of us are. Test questions is jus Gmat nd english (passage, synonyms nd antonyms ).
Heard salary range is abt a #80k nd wen converted 2 permanent staff it increases 2 over a #100k.

Guy, d structure of d interview depends on d carrying value of ur CV(asin wat ur CV contains) nd so is different for most people but ther re som general questions like
1. Can we meet u?
2. Why d change of career ? (Dats if ders a change of carrer from wat u initially studied in sch)
3. Why do u want 2 work in UBA?
4. Do u av any relatives currently in UBA or any of ther subsidiaries.?
5. Wat area wud u like to b employed in?
Dont forget 2 go wit all documents (originals) dey wud b cross - checked again

No essay writing, d test is computer based comprising of Gmat, english (comprehension passion, synonyms nd antonyms) nd general knwledge....... but more of Gmat nd english nd no calculators allowed.

Boss wat i ment is dis, if on friday wen i wrote i saw some peepz who wer nt successful cos dey got dt displayed on d system den automatically ders a 70% chance dt if u got a successful msg on d system at d tym u wrote u wud b called 4 interview. Dis exam is on system nd as such is programmable. If dey want below 60% or 70% to be displayed as unsuccessful dey can do it.....in other words its nt logical or likely dt one wud get a successful msg on system nd den b sent an SMS dt one isn't successful. ...... except if d cut off is been reviewed.

It's a one hour CBE( computer based Exam), it's a mixture of gmath, english (antonyms, synonyms and compression passages with fill in d gaps) ........ in my own case more of gmath..... nd no calculators allowed

I tink d cut off has bin increased, may b like 60% or so........ but never d less, i avnt heard any who was successful in test nd got an unsuccessful msg.

Jummy u need someone on d inside 2 help submit on ur bhav.....u cud drop ur C.V. with any of der HR personnel or any bank staff nd pray he or she helps in forwarding it 2 der HR ...... I tink application is based on reference..... nd who ever submits ur C.V. is guaranteeing ur credibility. U cud also check d career website, dont knw if it works sha ....... gud luck!!
