Nigerian pop superstar Davido is in the line up of artistes to perform at the Coachella 2020.
The organizers of Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival have swung into preparations for the 2020 event.

Among the long list of performers for Coachella 2020 is Afrofusion singer Davido, from Nigeria. He would be the only Nigerian and African artiste on the list this year. The schedule for the 'Risky' crooner is on April 10 & 17 respectively.

Previously in 2019, Mr Eazi and Burns Boy graced the stage as the first Africans to perform at the biggest music festival.

The 'Anybody' crooner was a guest on the latest episode of the Rap Radar podcast.

For the first time Burna Boy shared the real story behind his international hit 'Ye'. During the podcast he revealed that he actually recorded the song at a popular Lagos nightclub.

'Ye' was made at Quilox, a nightclub in Lagos Burna Boy narrates. He went on to narrate the beat for the song was given to him by Shina Peller the CEO of Quilox who is also his friend.

Shina Peller played the beat for him and got him to record in a studio in the club house. 'Ye' was produced by Phantom.

Nigerian musician Azeez Fashola professionally known as Naira Marley has given a subtle reveal of how much he charges or earns from a show.

The controversial singer takes home millions of Naira to hit the stage and perform at any show.

In a new piece of information, Naira Marley said he charged Access Bank N20 million for a show. Apparently, he had three shows with the bank taking his performance fees to N60 million in one week.

Naira Marley revealed this on Instagram when an acquaintance asked him to reveal how much he earns per show.

Mr Eazi is being dragged for the umpteenth times for making several loose talks during his interviews.

American Afrobeats artiste Young Paris has called out Mr Eazi for making an uninformed statement about thriving African genre of music Afrobeat and Afrobeat.

The Roc Nation signed music act said Eazi was wilding and mixing up the basic difference between Afrobeat and Afrobeats. Young Paris correct Eazi that Afrobeat was done by Fela and still remains one of the legendary singer's legacy.

However, Afrobeats is the popular music done by any African artistes, with sub-genres like Afropop, Afro-house, Afrotrap etc.
