Hello SAT123 I'm trying to get an Accredited employer also for a while now but they all keep saying once I get into the country (NZ) then I should come to them. I've submitted my CV to some recruitment agency in NZ and they all saying the same thing. Kindly elaborate more if you have the time, how you went about getting Accredited employer. Also Femi, please if you're reading this, I will like you to advise on what to do here. I plan to relocate with my fiancee down to NZ, I want to run school application for her (Msc), while I tag along as benefactor because according to NZ website I can easily get a work permit if she is in school over there. Please what do you think about this process? Anyone in the house can advise also. SAT123: |

CWay Water Drinking Science and Tech, a subsidiary of CWAY Group, multinational company specialized in the production and wholesale supply of the treated water, water dispensers, soft drinks, food and beverages in Nigeria and other parts of the world, has embarked on one cover-up too many and needs to be exposed. This fledging multinational enjoys the patronage of the Nigerian public, so it should answer to Nigerians if complaints against food safety come up. When a company of CWay magnitude fails to meet international health standards, Nigerians are consuming unsafe products and somebody needs to be accountable. A breach in health standards in the distribution of CWay products is harmful to general well-being of the Nigerian public. A Nigerian customer earlier this month of August 2016 made his regular purchase of sealed CWay Water bottles and to his utter disgust found a frog in one of the sealed Cway Water bottles. What followed his complaint was not only shameful, it was most alarming. Instead of calling for a recall of the batch of contaminated Cway Water bottles from the company's vendors and investigating how the product and how health standards got breached, CWay Water officials embarked on a cover-up mission. Instead of offering an explanation, CWay Water Drinking Sciences and Tech officials offered a customer who is concerned about public food and health safety a compensation of free water dispensers and later cash to cover-up investigating how a dead frog got in a sealed CWay water bottle. Is it too much stress for CWay Water to ensure the safety of the Nigerian public? Is a cover-up the right thing to do when Nigerians discover and complain about standards harmful to their health in general? It is worrisome CWay Water tried to bury this dead-frog-in-sealed-water inquiry. This is a public food safety and health concern issue. The dissatisfied customer isn't interested in private financial settlement; he demands a public investigation and full disclosure. The Nigerian public will not hesitate to launch a social media campaign to boycott CWay Water until they act responsibly. Do join in the quest to expose CWay Drinking Water Sciences and Technology’s cover-up by joining the #BoycottCway campaign on social media. Do you have other public food safety and health issues concerning food products? Now is the time to talk. Don't hesitate to share; don't hesitate to safeguard the health of other Nigerians. Let's share and reveal public health issues affecting Nigerians. Be part of the #AffectNigeria public health campaign. You might be saving the life of your loved ones and friends by speaking against these public safety cover-ups by big multinationals like CWay Drinking Water Sciences and Technology.

The Nigeria LNG ship Manning limited (NSML) is a private Limited liability company, subsidiary of NLNG, incorporated and now enjoys joint venture with big wigs in Nigerian oil and gas Industry like Nigeria national petroleum corporation (NNPC), shell gas b.v, total LNG Nigeria limited and ENI international (N.A) N.V is making a sinister move to cut her seafarers pay and they have highly condemned its decision to slash their salaries by 50 percent on the grounds of economic realities while shorebased or office staffs still enjoy 100 percent. The NLNG seafarers feel they deserve better and are crying for help especially when they make themselves available to come onboard whenever they are called upon without knowledge of when they will return, the high risks they are exposed to both from the environment and the hazardous cargo they carry (once called a moving time bomb), family & loved ones deprivation to mention but a few. The sudden 50 percent pay cut is rather unfair considering their input and sacrifices. A trusted source that works with NSML but does not want his name on print for fear of intimidation in an exclusive interview with gbaba’s blog explained that despite the NSML being subsidiary of a big company (NLNG) that has never declared losses since inception, they continually victimize/ use their seafarers to enrich themselves. When asked if the said economic realities did not affect other companies incorporated with NLNG, he simply explained that they are not facing the same fortune and the annoying thing about it is that while the NSML shore based staffs have their salaries reviewed and topped up every six months with bonuses for milestones achieved by the seafarers, the seafarers who are responsible in achieving the milestones have never had their salaries reviewed nor have they enjoyed a 1 naira increase or bonus since inception in 2010 regardless of what their terms and condition says In a bid to verify the authenticity of the story, gbaba’s blog contacted more seafarers at NSML who confirmed the story and also begged to remain anonymous. “they sent the new offer to our colleagues while they are onboard the various ships in the high sea, giving all the sailors seven day ultimatum to accept or reject the offer without access to a legal adviser and if you dare reject, it means u have resigned voluntarily and will return without compensation” he added by saying “ they have decided to pay Indians cheap wages to take our place if we don’t accept their terms ignoring cabbottage laws in shipping which apply to merchant ships in most countries that have a coastline so as to protect domestic shipping industry from foreign competition, preserve domestically owned shipping infrastructure for national security purposes and ensure safety in congested territorial waters “. In the words of another source “the situation is alarming. The media, the national assembly, human rights commission, public complaint commission, attorney general of the federation and other related agencies must act swiftly for humanity and God’s sake. We are all tax payers and it is obvious that their plan is to capitalize on the fact that there are no jobs due to the present day economy and force us to sign our own 50 percent pay cut, knowing fully well that our salaries have never been increased and we never received bonuses since we started”. You have no idea how bitter it is another source said; “But let’s give God the Glory. We are doing this not for ourselves or individual gratification but for our Families, Cadets in maritime academy of Nigeria, Oron, our Integrity, Our love for this company. The pride of Nigerians who people don’t really take serious. Nobody even thought Nigerians can man these class of ships. But today here we are. So why want to destroy what we have worked so hard to build? We have given so much for this company though nobody ever sees that. But we will make everyone appreciate us. There are a million ways of approaching issues but throwing a piece of paperwork at somebody and giving him a week to sign is very disrespectful.” In my opinion, I see the decision of NSML to force their sailors into signing a 50 percent pay cut as man’s inhumanity to man. http://m.lngworldnews.com/#newsitem-184932

Did you know one of the reasons a lot of people endure an unhappy life these days is because they're afraid of being judged by the society? What if people can break out of the societal mold preventing them from reaching full potential? What if people decided to take affirmative action and flip the script on societal rules albeit in a positive way? We live in a society that inhibits and restricts everyone that allows the rules to hold them back regardless of their gender. You can't be a hairdresser because you're a man. She can't be a pilot because she's a woman. You can't become a councilor because you're too young despite making the age qualification. Where do we turn to for the re-orientation of our society? Should it matter what gender the leader of a 21st-century Nigeria is? Don't be so hasty to drop an immediate answer because some Americans are struggling to accept the idea of a woman running for the White House in spite of Hilary Clinton's qualification, experience and excelling in every position she's ever occupied (and that's a developed country we're talking about in America). Society won't let the idea of equality be. For fear of change, society keeps moving the goal post and changing the rules in the middle of the game. Yet French writer of repute, Victor Hugo said, nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come. Has the time for equality come? Are we ready for a 50/50 experience? The time to create a fairer, more balanced society in Nigeria has come and everyone is invited to be of it. The question is how? How do you become part of a revolution you know nothing about? That's where a re-orientation comes in and where you need to take a look at http://iampurple.ng. But you know what? It starts with you, cast the first stone and watch the ripples attract others to the world of 50/50. Come be part of the movement bringing the best out of today's youth, improving their relationships with society, and making the world a fairer place in the long run. Come be part of the Purple Academy. The Purple Academy is an online platform that is positively shaping the way young women and men see themselves, and each other. TrajansKong:Aint gonna condemn you because you dont believe in religion....am sure you have your reasons not to. But if you read through the article well enough, the Pastor is not deliberately beating the brethren because he feel God asked him to but he is trying to make example of how Jesus died for our sin |
TrajansKong:Religion rots the brain....wow so sad for you. |

theEYe21:Did you take your time to read through the write up? The saying "to hide something in plain sight for a black man is to put it in black and white" is actually true. I dont know how people think this days. |
The Lead Pastor of the Harvesters International Christian center, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, yesterday in a message titled "Is God Mad at Me?" made use of this analogy. He played this out when he was about to punish an erring son (acted by a Church Member) and was intercepted by another person who decided to take the strokes which were supposed to be punishment for the sin committed by the erring son. Pastor Bolaji after this little drama pointed out that the erring son was completely free and could not be punished anymore as the other person had taken his place. The seasoned man of God in his message which focused on opening the eyes of believers to the simple truth that God cannot be mad at them, explained this by saying that as believers we are hid in Christ and since God is pleased with Christ he is pleased with us too as joint heirs of Christ. Therefore, when we err or do wrong, God isn't mad us, he is only angry at the sin. It behoves us therefore as children of God to flee from sin. Finally, God is not mad at you because of Jesus! The cross has settled it! - 1John2:2

[img][/img] Tobi Sax may not be known by many Nigerians but on June 22, 2016, Tobi proved to the world that Autism is not a disease or limitation as she thrilled fans with her ability to play the piano in a very uncanny manner. More than 500 children in Lagos and Ogun States were attended to by healthcare specialists in one-on-one consultations for children with autism and other developmental difficulties organized by Guaranty Trust Bank plc. The consultations, held from April 25-29 in Ogun State, and June 22-29 in Lagos are part of the GTBank Orange Ribbon Initiative, an advocacy programme designed to support children with developmental disabilities in Nigeria especially Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). At the one-on-one consultation, healthcare specialists drawn from Nigeria and the United States, offered for free, specialized services such as speech therapy, physical therapy, behavioral analysis, audiology, clinical psychology, developmental psychiatry, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. Amongst the partners in the programme were the First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs Olufunso Amosun through the Uplift Foundation, the State Ministries of Health and Education, Science and Technology, Blazing Trails International, Texas, USA, College of Medicine, Idi-Araba, Lagos, Patrick Speech and Language Centre, and the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Ogun State.

Siemens Limited in response to recent publications in the Nigerian dailies referring to workers protesting the move to sack employees of Dresser-Rand in Nigeria. Mrs. Onyeche Tifase, managing director / chief executive officer, said in a statement at the weekend, that changes in the global energy marketplace precipitated by the plunge in the global prices of crude oil have resulted in a reassessment of Dresser-Rand’s global operations footprint. “Following this,” the statement read, “an agreement was made for Dresser-Rand to transfer ownership of its business to Siemens. This decision has necessitated the streamlining of management and administrative structures and the modernization of the Siemens, Dresser-Rand combined fleet”. “The Company said that the impact of right-sizing decisions are always difficult and Dresser-Rand has been fair and circumspect in the preparation and delivery of employee severance packages. “The right-sizing decisions made were taken wholly by Dresser-Rand and no Siemens Nigeria employees were affected in the process. “Siemens and Dresser-Rand continue to work to ensure a secure and efficient integration process for all employees”, the statement read. - See more at: http://www.nigeriacommunicationsweek.com.ng/news/siemens-refutes-report-on-workers-sack#sthash.9mWatE9r.dpuf |
