Ovamboland: Mr Atlwire, i have read reasonable post from you in the past and i hope you are still redeemable from the path of perdition you are toeing over this PDP issue please respond intelligently to Section 182.1 (i) of 1999 constitution and tell the house how Fayose can escape the provision without resorting to violence:

Thanks for bringing this out.To me the issue should not be whether E11 are corrupt or not but is Fayose constitutionally qualified to be the gov. According to the sections quoted above,no. |

Anybody body seeing only the pictures will not know that how short and useless the the train path is . My full 4 months in port-harcourt I have had only once needed to pass by the train route and it is annoyingly alongside a major road which funny enough is quite good. I'm not pro or anti Ameachi oh...but he could have done better...so many important roads around the city that are sooo bad, he just started doing ordinance/slaughter road after 8 year! 8 years!!!...abeg i just tire to talk jor...he's still better than my state governor Rome was not built in a single day. This is a first step, other administrations will expand and add more routes.Nice one by Gov. OkekeOnyi: Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR, President of the Federal Republic, Nigeria, must declare now to run for the office of the president come 2015. He must return come 2015 to sustain the good work he has started. The entire six Geo-political zones have endorsed him, the massive crowd in the various stadia is an evident/ testimonial of his acceptance by the Nigerian people, who do not want to return to the dark days of hopelessness, misrule, maladministration, impunity, massive corruption in highest places, Do or die politics; massive rigging, etc, government of tyranny which promoted the use of force over that common sense; Udi and Zaki Biam, point of reference. Until he came into office as the president, all major roads were not motor able; Ibadan – Lagos axis, Sagamu-Ore- Benin Road, all Federal roads in the eastern part of the country linking the northern part were all affected. Airports and Seaports infrastructure were decaved to an all time embarrass the proportion with no government presence felt. The power sector totally collapsed even with the over 16 billion intervention fund down the drain with nothing to show. Political killings, selective justice system against perceived ‘’enemies of the state. Our educational system suffered neglect with both ASUU and non Academic staff harassed to submission in a manner that could only be compared to the period of past military regimes. That our students had no place for lectures, no laboratries for science students, was an undeniable fact because the sector like every other sector, was shortchanged by corrupt officials because of lack of accountability. As result of the aforementioned situation in the country, for the first time in history of this nation, Nigerians have come together to speak with one voice against ethnic/regional politics, Godfatherism, nepotism and mediocrity and have unanimously settled for a man who has strong position for service, who detest indolence, a man that have demonstrated resilience, dexterity and uncommon courage despite all the distractions, insurgencies, harsh criticism and sabotage has performed above average. The man with these vital ingredients, Nigerians need to lead us to the next level is Goodluck Jonathan. It is a statement of fact that Goodluck “Godsent” Jonathan, is the only Nigerian political leader who has risen from the position of a Deputy Governor – Governor, Vice President – Acting President – President, an unusual resume, pedigree, which nobody anywhere in world has possessed, which was a developmental process, divinely arranged to prepare him for the job of today,’ to lead us to the next social politico cum economic emancipation that Nigerians are dire need of. Let it be also on record that his coming to power was not a coincidence but an answer from God to our prayers of a good and tested leader. Skeptic Nigerians should know that God has answered our prayers by sending us such a good leader and a STATESMAN. Goodluck Jonathan may not be articulate like president Barrack Obama; president of United States of America; he does not have such oratory prowess, like his critics have said on different occasions but he (Goodluck) surely has focus and that uncommon Nigerian strength/spirit. Even president Obama knows that he will not survive one week in Aso rock villa as the president of Nigerian, given our mode of politicking, multi ethno-religious inclinations, opposition groups, saboteurs, whistle blowers, political jobbers and arm chair critics to mention but a few. Goodluck Jonathan has indeed recorded some giant strides so far, and are enough reasons for him to come back to complete the good work he is doing, on behalf of the good people of Nigeria. The very reasons Nigerians are c1amouring for his return. Fidelis Aburime , wrote from Lagos It is only rented crowds from the six geo-political zones that have endorsed Jonathan.I make bold to say real Nigerians have not endorsed Jonathan. |

barcanista: 4. HON. OPEYEMI BAMIDELE, MEMBER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE(LP) Bamidele served as Commissioner for Information and later Special Adviser to Governor Tinubu between 1999 and 2003. He also served in the cabinet of Governor Fashola. In 2011, he was given the Ticket of Action Congress of Nigeria to run for a seat in Federal House of Representative, representing his constituency in Ekiti State. His popularity grew in Ekiti State that he sought for the Governorship ticket of the ACN/APC to challenge incumbent John Fayemi. This drew the anger of Party heavyweight in Ekiti State led by party leader Otunba Niyi Adebayo. He defected to Labour Party to contest for the governorship unsuccessfully. Today, he still holds Tinubu in High Esteem and according to him, "APC has been reaching out to him for reconciliation" https://www.africanexaminer.com/wp-content/uploads/opeyemi-bamidele.jpg
5. MR. AKINWUNMI AMBODE, FMR. ACCOUNTANT GENERAL, LAGOS STATE. A retired civil servant who served as Auditor General of Local Government in Lagos State and later, Accountant General of the State and Permanent Secretary. It was under his watch that Lagos State carved out internal revenue policies to run the state when President Obasanjo seized States Fund for 3 Years. Ambode's initiative earned him accolades from the Governor(Tinubu) and Royal Fathers in the State. He's the frontrunner for the APC Gov. ticket in Lagos State. https://www.tribune.com.ng/images/ambode.jpg While B.A.T is a dye-in-the-wool capitalist,i am more socialist inclined,i admire him for his political sagacity.I just hope BAT and GMB can fashion out a winning strategy for the 2015 elections. |
