I'v never been an admirer of school,never really enjoyed going to school.
I speak negatively about it at almost any opportunity I gt at a conversation.
Today I met Kelechi OFOMA and today my perception on school has changed, most times we are influenced so much in our life that we loose sight of who are or who we ought to be. We try to please Society, our parents and the NORM Of life .My friend told me that school is important but what's important is what school you go to.
You can't judge a fish by its ability to climb trees. We have aspiring engineers, lawyer right now in schools that will never make it to their full potential for the single reason that they are in school because they are in the WRONG SCHOOL.
Yes school is important but which kind of school there are extremely talented actors in our school but they are wasting thier potential why because they are in school of Medicine, Engineering or Law when you should be in a school of ACTING, OR MUSIC.
Now I believe school is important but which kind of SCHOOL are you meant to be in where is your SCHOOL.
The two greatest days in a mans life is the day he was born and the day he finds out why. If your still living life for society and your family then my friend you haven't started living at all.

So what's wrong with being average? People enjoy life in different ways ya know. Money is good but it ain't everything? Instead of exalting wealth all the time we should learn to appreciate and teach honest,hardwork. This davido kid is subtly giving Nigerian kids and young adults the wrong impression that wealth is everything. Most young people these days are looking for get rich quick schemes because they want to "slay" or "ball" like their favorite celebs. We've lost the good old values of working hard for your money.

Datgoaldigger1, thank you for sharing that story about Gambling and Addiction. I'm glad you got out on time. It will be tough and there will be a lure to enter back into that lifestyle. Nobody can control and addiction and that is what makes it so hard, that you feel you can be in control.

What is procrastination?? It's the act of doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable things when the less pleasurable things are more beneficial to you.
All through my life I have been an avid procrastinator,sometimes If I had exams and it was a Friday or Saturday I would tell myself let me wait for the Monday so I would start with the first day if the week OR if it was the 8th,7th or any other day of the month I would Wait till ts the 10th,20th or 1'st day of the month because I felt those dates were better to start reading.
There was one statement my friend made he said "No time wey no be now" it got to me.Often time we wait for the perfect time to gt under way with an action but in reality there is actually never a perfect time that isn't NOW. Use what ever you have at the moment and begin don't wait for the RIGHT time cause it will never come.
Look at this example when I want to take my bath with cold water sometimes I feel hesitant to pour myself the water because I FEAR the chills but I realized the longer I waited the harder it would be to pour the water so I started pouring myself cold water immediately I enter the bathtub after that the subsequent pouring isn't a problem because my boy has adjusted to the temperature of the water.This is what holds us most times WAITING,there is no better time that now just like Nike says "Just Do It"
Think of when you want to approach a girl you see that the more time you waste in thinking of her reaction the harder it will be for you to talk to her.But if you JUST DO IT 's all over before you know it.

These days when you ask everybody what they want to study in school you only hear Medicine, Law,Acc,Engineering and other so called BIG COURSES, now don't get me wrong I am not undermining the afore mentioned courses in any way but I am a big Critic of the Mindset geared towards them.
Every year thousands of students find themselves in so called USELESS courses due to one reason or the other you see someone in zoology, botany, animal science, etc feeling unimportant because you aren't studying a major course well let me tell you its jut your mindset that's affecting you,the way you think is affecting you let me tell you a short story 3 brick layers workiy one day and were asked what the were doing the first one said that he is laying bricks,the second said he was earning a living and the third said he was building the wordsli largest cathedral, You don't have to be rocjety scientist to know who is going far in life amongst them.
Change your mindset if Charles Darwin had thought ohh I am just a Biologist we would have missed out in so many important info we know today OR if Gregor Mendel undermined his work what would you be studying in botany classes.before you all start to judge I'm studying Electrical Engineering

Recently I read a story of a guy who lost 300K to bet9ja and immediately it got right to my soul because I have been in that same predicament although it was not as much as 300K.
I started betting about 2yrs ago.When I started at first I used the normal #100 naira bets to play sometimes I won sometimes I lost but I wsnt really loosing cuz it WS just #100 but being a human being and hearing of how people win big Greed crept in
My first big bet I used 6K to play it and it entad I WS happy thinking that I had finally found the way to chop bet9ja so I started using biggr money to play and obvious with betting I began loosing and every better knows that when you loose money your first thought is I must RECOVER, mind you all these where life games
I started playing virtual after right in front someone won 22K with correct score so I switched to VIRTUAL That WS were the beginning of my doom started.
I lost so much in virtual,not just my money but most importantly time because you have to be there to watch ur games.Can remember the day we just got back from Villa and I carried the 10K I gt from relatives to a bet9ja shop I left there with 100naira
I think a worse scenario was when I was to travel home from school but I had a low battery and decided to charge my phone In a bet shop from there I saw one game I thought I had seen before I come play am correct score ,they played 0-0 I used my last card to play that game. I did something I had Neva done bfre I began begging fr money luckily I saw a friend of mine collected money and began my journey to Enugu. It WS on the journey I realized that I WS wasting my life

It all started about a month ago when my one of my secondary school friends hit me up and told me he was in Nssuka that I should come and meet him so we go chill in a one hotel like that. I ddnt have any lectures again that day so I went.Now the thing is this my friend is a G boy(Internet fraudster) I had been hearing stories of how he has been balling so I wanted to see first hand
