This is why past Governments did not engage local contractors in construction projects, they will always find a way to frustrate you. The local and indigenous contractors always coming up with one issue or the other even after the Government trying to be reasonable with them.
This Govt came in and enacted policies to integrate indigenous contractors as critical part of nationwide projects. The minister has on several occasions cancelled contracts of foreign contractors who have failed to meet targets and reawarded the contracts to other contractors.
