ALAUSA wrongly pronounced 're mi mi mi' to mean "The Hausa" It is actually Alausa ( re mi do mi)- that is a place where you find ausa(a type of fruit in yoruba)

MAGODO as you rightly said was gotten from 'don't pound...' And people wrongly pronounced it as Magodo (do mi do). It is supposed to be "mi do mi'

You dare not pronounce these names wrongly within the Lagos government official circle.
