Correct! Some slave minded, over officious Nigerians, home and abroad would soon come to school us why he should have worn oyinbo suite for official assignment. They think as if Oyinbo will beat them for wearing their African attire to office. They fail to learn from Arabs, Indians, etc. How can we develop with that kind of copy copy mind set. |
Opening a law firm is a business? |
Wow, congratulations! |
Why this new policy naw? |
So Buahari forgot Pastor Adeboye has influence on the electorate when they passed the law? They now remembered after the deed has been done? This Fayose self! For your information and the gullible ones, the code was implemented during GEJ era. When GEJ was confronted, he pointed that the man at the helm is a Redeem(ed) pastor. The Obazee was once accused of sexual harassment by one his senior staff members who's also a RCCG pastor's wife. May be that's why he was suspended or resigned from being a pastor and wanted to revenge. As Adegboruwa wrote yesterday, the church has been court for some time to challenge the law. It was when they lost that the respected G.O complied. The issue is more of power tussle within RCCG. Read Mr Adegboruwa's article of yesterday, another RCCG pastor advising our refereed G.O not to follow the path of Yahya Jammeh of the Gambia. Most of the pastors want to fly private jets around the world too and and have unfettered access to church money. That is the result of church building their treasure on earth. They display so much wealth and pay lip service to soul winning and service to mankind as admonished by our Lord Jesus Christ. It is an abomination for men of God to bully people around with body guards and armed security men. Nothing Christ-like again about Nigerian church. The glory people see, desire and they want to die for is money, money and more money. The difference between them and wicked politicians is the difference between 5 and 6. Politician don't respect them, they only respect their influence on their naive followers for votes. |

ALTERNATEID:Did you say absolute power belongs to pastor Adeboye? How come Nigerian Christians turn mere mortals to god. You people re not helping the humble man at all. And between, there is nothing like General Oversea World Wide. |

Poeple applied more to MMM than real jobs. FG N power/ and or stipends payment might have also contributed. It shows how Nigerians prefer short cuts. It will increase this year |

What a list! The list should only comprise practising lawyers, litigation or otherwise not somebody that studied law and doing another thing entirely like messers Folawiyo, Ayeni, etc. |
nnokwa042:My brother you sounded like one of my great friend's view of WS. I am a literary minded person though operating in the technology sector. Steve Job was just a business man who made so much from selling what some people called over priced gadgets that are not sine quo none to life. Was Steve Job Albert Einstein or Thomas Edison that I will prefer him over our own world renowned professor that the then US president had to convince to come settle down in America by issuing him a green card. He contributed to the body of knowledge in the best citadels of learning in that country from Harvard to Pricinton, Howard, New York, Yale, etc. Let me remind you before you castigate him for not doing anything for Nigeria. He lectured at UNILAG, Ibadan and so many years at Ife where he won the nobel lauret. He became professor at Ife and later emeritus of same school Those time he wa lecturing abroad he's always home attending one function or the other to force good governance. I'm so much inspired by WS works, written or staged and by his activism to liberate Nigeria from misgovernance. My brother, Oyinbo will not beat you if you appreciate heroes from you country. |
