added that students were now
leaving the town, many with tree
branches over their cars – a
traditional sign of neutrality in
Nigeria, “Everybody is scared.” Other
residents of Mubi say they heard
gunfire for about two hours during
the night and that those living near
the hostel were also targeted.

Cross River State traditional rulers’
council, Dr Edet Okon Etim, has warned
that Nigerians should expect shocker

starts, I can assure you that the
disintegration of this country will start
from there. The people of Bakassi are
very sad and I believe government
must do something,” he said
Speaking further, the monarch affirmed
that they are tired of being treated as
second class citizens in their own
country. He said: ‘We want to leave but
the law continued to hinder us because
the law pretends that we are Nigerians
but we cannot be Nigerians with having
a foot hold on our land or concede our
land to Cameroon. We have said it
clearly that before Nigeria and
Cameroon, there was Bakassi, we don’t
need Nigeria to define and determine
our existence, but one point is clear,
today it may be Bakassi and tomorrow
it may be Otueke. If we are used as
sacrificial lamb today, it may be another

HERE IS A VERY TOUCHING STORY!!!
It was told to me by a friend, u should read it!
A young boy (probably age 10) was on his way to school early one morning, unaware of wat will happen 2 him dat day. The innocent boy set out on his way to school dat faithful day, all dressed up & excited.
On his way 2 school he saw somethin dat looks like a dead cat by d roadside, it luks lyk ds cat is invincible 2 evry oda passerby, as. He saw it, he touched it, @ 1st nothin happend, den he decided 2 touch it again, stil nothin happend den he left. But he turnd back, worried dat sumthin is not normal with him being d only one seein ds "dead cat". He touched it again, ds tym wt his leg, yet, nothing happend, so he rushed 2 sch.
In class, d boy became restless & feelin uneasy, he could no longer concentrate on wat he's bn taught, hus mind is totally occupied by d tot of d horrible scene he witnessd dat mornin. All of a sudden, he jumped up, sneakd out of school, &went back 2. D scene, d creature was still there, then he touched it again, but d creature didn't move, so he went back 2 school. 2 cut d long story short,
It nw happend dat when he was on his way home after d school hours, he intentionally passed dat route again & 2 his greatest amazement, d creature was still there! Ds tym around wen he touched it, it is soo suprising dat nothing still happend, & dat is d end of d story!
