i have picked up my passport. Approved for 5years

Hello. I just received a mail to come pickup my passport. And it says to come along with the appointment letter.

For those that has collected. Is the appointment letter those document given when the passport was dropped off.

Do pls help clarify. Thanks

Just saw that it has now moved from approved to issued. Hopefully I get notified to come pick up this coming week.

Today makes it 21 days since i dropped my passport for IW.
Still on application received. Hopefully it changes soon.

Yes I also have 2 application with them and it's same.
My aunty submitted on the 10th and last week the column where it says passport still with embassy changed to just document delivery information and by Wednesday which is 2days ago it changes to passport collected from embassy and by yesterday changes back to passport ready for collection and she has collected it.

Just wanted to confirm if its normal. i submitted my passport for dropbox on the 15th march
using the tracker site, its still on application received.

When i checked the usatravel site this morning. I notice that the section that says my passport is currently with the embassy is no more there...

just document delivery information... Nothing clickable.

Anyone seen this before?

My wife has two degree one been an ND [Distinction] science and laboratory technology and a B.Sc [Second class upper] in microbiology.

Now she want to go study in Uk but the course shes looking at is medical bioscience and based on what i have read and also from a reply from another thread. She wont be able to practice right after she finishes.

Pls help with suggestion as other programs she can go with and if you feel she can still go ahead with that.

Just help clarify.

I think you're talking of job opportunities and not further study. She can as well do her PhD in uk after MSc bug she cannot practice as a BMS. Send me a PM.

I really want to support my wife in her career hence why am asking all these question.

We considered going for PR in Canada but with the delay in processing. That led us to want to move via the study route and since she wants us to move together, we couldn't apply for Canada study.

According to what I heard. Canada doesn't always give dependent visa as she would need to first move leaving myself and our baby which she's not ready to go alone as we have heard of some family getting stuck.

Your advise is greatly needed in ensuring we have a plan if coming to the UK is what we would be processing come January.

So she can't go directly for her PhD to Canada after completing the masters and she won't also be able to work in UK with the degree.

Does that mean the degree is not useful or worth it.

Speaking of certificate. Do you know some of the certification program available so that I can check them out.

If you're planning to leave Nigeria, then tell her not to waste time or money on any prog.

Canada's own worse pass UK she will have to start all over again in canada. Top up degree or a 2year diploma, with a pass mark in Biomedical certification exam.

She cannot practice as a biomedical scientist in uk with a MSc Biomedical Science.

For certifications, she may be able to combine it with her studies, prices range from £2500 - £4000 depending on what she wants to go for.

You mean right after she's through, getting a job with such degree cant land her a job even in the health lab or nhs...

Is there a way one can know what type of certification one needs to have to practice aside her masters program she would be doing so that while she's on her study, she can be getting that done. She already has 2 degrees here, ND Lab science [Distinction], B.SC microbiology [ Second Class Upper] and currently undergoing a certification training as a public analyst [Lab]

Though we still plan to move to canada for either phd or work after her masters and one year of work after study.

Would appreciate and advise on this.

I hope your wife gets a job in her field after her degree- most friends of mine that did biomed left the country after school. But she may have the luck she needs to practice. Make sure she registers to be able to practice here- I heard the masters doesn’t auto grant her her “licence to practice”.

My wife and i are planning to come to the UK next year September.

She's coming for study while i work.

Speaking about work, I run a business here in nigeria in the Digital marketing space.

Have spent the last three years specializing in PPC advertising via google ads which means i should be able to get into the advertising agency in the uk if i can plan out all the required certificates and experience needed, though i have most of them already.

Just wanted to ask if there are prospect of work over there and also i would like to know what happens if i decide to simply continue my business from there since its mostly online. Would it affect my work permit given if am not using it for work as its meant to be.

Are there repercussions?

I just wanted to have an idea so that i can plan accordingly, If am going to be working with an advertising agency in the uk which is what am hoping for if am to look for work or simply running my own advertising agency for businesses in the uk while my wife goes to school to further her career.

BTW: My wife would be applying for biomedical science and we just started processing her passport with the change of name and other document we are trying to get which is why getting into january might not be as much feasible for us.

resistant at 1399 area...

We can see that price refused to break this resistant, though the trand is still bullish
but i will be looking to see a retracement down to the trendline below which is around
1380-1382 area to take a buy...

NOTE; Now that gold has finally broken the monthly resistant, i see the market gradually
changing into a long term bull market... so all trading context should be on the bull side...
