I hope you know that the study visa you got is attached to only Conestoga College. If you want to change schools, you need to reapply for a new study visa? Also, I think you can't get a full refund from Conestoga if you decide to withdraw from the program voluntarily. You can only get a full refund if you get a visa refusal(confirm from refund policy). Why don't you just go to Canada and work your way into EE, and then bring your spouse when you get the PR?

Firstly, having some funds especially your living expenses in applicant's account will show strongly the VO that funds are available and access.

Also explain the lump sum...using supporting documents.

Show evidence like receipts of payment from sponsor.

Show sources of income of your sponsor too

Try hard to make this fund available and accessible to the applicant,
Preferably,You cab buy a GIC or deposit the funds in applicant naira account

I will advise you use downloaded soft copy from your internet banking.....those printed hard-copy-scanned docs takes up space...if you compress it further.might become blurred

I have cousin trying to transfer money for GIC from GTbank to CIBC. Has anyone done this before?

She made mention of some kind of code that was clear that is needed else the money wouldn’t go through

CIBC will provide her with an instruction sheet.

That sheet will have the GIC details, she should write the GIC code on the international wire transfer form....most importantly Hand the instruction sheet to the GTB teller staff ,so the instruction details will be used to process her wire transfer to CIBC
