PoliticsRe: We Are Working Hard To Stabilize Power Situation In Nigeria, Says Buhari by DaveHert(m): 12:32am On Aug 03, 2016
Eleanoralph:
President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that the epileptic power situation in Nigeria would soon give way for stable power supply.

He said his administration was committed to realizing the objective, stressing that the resources were available.

Togolese president was in Nigeria to inspect the ongoing refinery project by Dangote group in Lagos.

President Buhari who revealed that the same power problem was bedevilling Republic of Benin stated that productivity would be competitive when the situation improved.
He said: “They say seeing is believing. You can see the efforts private investors are making. We are also building pipelines but it is not as formidable as what Dangote is doing. We are improving on it. We also have the NLNG that is helping is to liquefy the gas and then turn it into gas with modern technology and modern technology is making it flexible.

“And If you will recall, I made mention to President of Benin. We have power problem and Benin has power problem because they depend on us and we are working very hard to stabilise the situation. The resources are available, the technology is available we are trying to stabilise the situation.

“If ‎we improve power which means our productivity can be competitive and God willing, we are going to achieve our objectives.

“We also discuss the unfortunate incidents in South Sudan, Burundi. It is an agonising situation. Several citizens are living under primitive conditions. We hope at the AU meeting, we will be able to stabilise‎ the situation in South Sudan and Burundi with the efforts being made.”

Also speaking, the visiting Togolese president said he was impressed by Dangote’s string of investment in Africa.

“I’m impressed by the investment of Dangote because we have been talking of Socio-economic integration and promoting trade among African countries

“If you want to promote trade, you have investors that are very competitive and will contribute to reduce import from non-african countries.

“I was told the gas pipeline that will be built will be buried under the sea‎ to make it. It means if you want to promote blue economy, our ocean needs to be very safe. We need security”, he said.

Gnassingbe also invited president Buhari to attend the maritime summit holding in Togo in October this year.

Hmm... suddenly Buhari has turned born again oh! Or did the writer of his script forget he isn't a Christian? The day Buhari stabilises power in Nigeria is the day I will start supporting him, but until then I would advise he keeps his fake promises to himself or better still tell it to his brothers in the North.

The only good news he can offer to us is the news of him resigning office for a more qualified candidate, anything other than that is a waste of Nigerians time. Somebody should pls count his promises for him and tell him how many he has achieved so far! It's impossible enough for him, no need to add more.

Somebody should pls tell this man to focus on the economic recession and leave ncc for now It's now a known fact that whatever decision he makes usually ends up affecting the citizens negatively, so pls stay away from ncc.

“So, let him know whether he can do away with some advisers around him and bring in the people who are experts in economic revamp; there are people who are experts in that; let them begin to empower people, people are not empowered, they are still walking around in vicious circles, planning and planning and planning. Go to mortuaries, go to mortuaries, there are no spaces. I repeat, myself went to Annunciation Hospital the other time to see my brother, coming in, there was no space, the whole mortuary was filled up and they told me it is the same thing in the Eastern Medical Centre and that if I go to UNTH, there is no space, the death rate is high.

We don't even want him to finish his current tenure you are talking of 2019. Just take notice of every Buhari fanatic you know now, and see if they survive the economic recession to see 2019, am sure anyone of them that survives would have learn his or her lesson the hard way by then.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Sacks JAMB Boss, Ojerinde, And 16 Others, Appoints Replacement by DaveHert(m): 11:33am On Aug 02, 2016

Clap for yourself for making so much sense hence the likes.

I said it, didn't I? Your teachers should have been sacked! Can you imagine? You cannot even distinguish between Pidgin and normal English anymore.

It's really a pity. I didn't know there was a standard for writing Pidgin but like they say, we learn everyday.

Although I don't really want to burst your bubble, but the truth is that, those who liked your idiotic post did so simply because of the idiotic message you put up there.

If you must know, your post riled me up not because of any APC stuff but simply because I just couldn't comprehend why a full grown man like you would suggest that Buhari should be sacked for sacking the JAMB boss.

And then, I took a closer look at your post and I was like: huh, WTF, this one can't even write coherently and we are talking about education here...

Ha ha ha!!!
Okay I have to admit, you really are a dimwitte! There's no helping that. My suggestion of having him sacked was simply in relation to his bad governance!

Oh and he said it was Pidgin he used, lolz my bad sir, I know English can be hard on people, but why don't you do me a favour and correct my words, word for word and I will do you the favour of rephrasing your poorly constructed grammer (both the intended Pidgin and the poorly constructed formal english), I am pretty sure you haven't the slightest idea how grammatical functions work and where your construction went wrong but I will happily point it out to u. You can thank me later!

And finally relating to my teacher getting sacked, how does a single students supposed mistake reflect a teachers ability to teach, do you see why I keep calling u a dense dimwitte?
PoliticsWhy R Nigerians So Passionate About Political Parties & Not Qualified Candidates by DaveHert(op): 10:40am On Aug 02, 2016
In this modern society of ours, I still wonder why people are so passionate about the party they are affiliated with and would rather vote for an unqualified candidate in that party rather than vote for a more qualified candidate brought by another party.

In this Era of rapid development and innovation, we ought to be looking for people who are sound intellectually and psychologically to help put our country at the forefront of development but rather than doing that, we take sides with parties that are producing unqualified candidates and fight amongst ourselves when we should all put heads together so as to move this country forward! Why do we have to turn a blind eye on the candidate being presented by a party just because money is been offered by that party?

And the second question that should be on everyone's mind is what is the criteria currently used in determining a qualified candidate for a political post, shouldn't there be rigorous debates of different stages that strips a candidate of title and aims at the persons intellectual capacity? Why do we still have to vote a candidate based on mere promises? Promises that will likely be denied or nulled once office is assumed. Isn't it about time we use our heads rather let our heads be used?

Nairalanders over to you!
PoliticsRe: When Fashola Blames GEJ Who Should We Blame For Poor Power, No Jobs, Naira fall by DaveHert(m): 10:01am On Aug 02, 2016
The question is why didn't they leave Jonathan to harvest this seeds of recession he supposedly planted, instead a mor0n in sheep's clothing came with promises of how he would revive the economy and change the nation, now the mantle of leadership has been handed to him and what is he doing? After putting the nation in a state of turmoil and economic recession he is busy pointing fingers at his predecessors.

Okay we agree that it is Jonathans fault, Oya fix it for us as u promised or better still, call back the Jonathan and give him back the seat so he can fix his supposed mess.
