mysticgal:Hi, I've read some of ur comment and I must say I understand everything u said. It is normal if u still see d Bank as old people's Bank, dat I believe is because d transformation is yet to reflect in that branch building close to u. Am sure if u go inside, d service is quite standard now. The transformation first started with her value and culture, then they introduced a new brand, and structural outlook. If that branch close to u is still looking old, just be rest assured that in no time that branch will be transformed. Maybe then u will start feeling d youthfulness of dis new Union Bank. It is a gradual process. Like I stated earlier, in about 2yrs from now, the bank may become the leading Bank in Nigeria. |
oluwafreshkid:Bro, ur funny. MTN or Glo...lol wont say more. |
ceejay80s:Bro na tru talk na ![]() |
oluwafreshkid: chuchuo:@Chuchuo Your response is so on point. @oluwafreshkid I think u shud visit Union Bank and see things for ursef |
oluwafreshkid:Your complaint is still baseless. Atlst u got a response. There are many banks that will probably not respond at all, so it's not an issue of Union Bank is old or new. There's a tendency d delay was as a result of a large number of incoming twitter dm at dat point in time from Twitter users, and each one will be treated based on first come first serve. UBN of before don't even have twitter handle, talkless of respond or even have staffs dat can use Twitter. U ll agree with me, dat there have bn an improvement and d transformation is quite obvious. |
DivineKayy:Even if u do, am sure u won't say yes. ![]() Anyways, I understand. I didn't get an acknowledgement after apply, hope dats not an issue. |
izzou:My Bro, we have to promote our own brand o, u know d bigger the bank becomes the more graduates dey will employ. It's all for the good of us all o. |
Thatitan234:It's a gradual process, our minds are not expected to change immediately, when the beautiful things u see now about d Bank becomes constant, u will change. |
DivineKayy:Aii Thanks. U work with them? |
The fact that you clicked to read this, is enough evidence that you are interested in the story. Yeh!!! Of cos there's no story, just want to get ur attention. That's the effect of a good story heading. ![]() |
DivineKayy:I did that, cleared what I had, but it's still giving same error msg. |
I tried saving my work experience, it won't save. Keeps telling me double entry, primary key bla bla bla had to apply without my work experience. For this reason I created another profile but same thing happened. I hope d fact my experience is not captured on d platform, it won't affect my chances. |
G Destined2win:Yeh right. They have really improved on their services lately. Unlike those days where u watch staffs peeling egusi inside the bank ![]() |
naijacutee, dominique, FOD, puskin, lalasticlala u needed source there u have it. U can verify and do the needful. Thanks in anticipation. |
I think this is worth sharing. Union Bank is gradually hitting her mark and in next 2 years may likely be Nigeria's leading Bank. If you are still in doubt, Kindly visit any of her branches and experience the transformation currently going on in the bank. Union Bank recently won the award for ‘Best Brand Development To Reflect Changed Mission / Vision / Positioning’ beating Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Bank Al Bilad, Bahrain Finance Company, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Industry Gulf Finance and VOX, and ‘Best Visual Identity From The Financial Services Sector’ beating Bank ABC, ADCB, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Industry Gulf Finance and MAF Finance. I say big Congratulations to Union Bank on this achievement, and wish them many more to come. http://www.transformmagazine.net/articles/2016/best-in-brand/ Cc: lalasticlala

ibadanfinest:Well sorry, I don't know anyone. I applied same way everyone else applied, went thru d process like others and made it. Nobody questioned my Bsc/Bed certificate. And No, I got no additional qualification. It's not the course, it's u if u don't make it. No bank will turn anyone down cos of B.ed, whoever tot of dat shud look for another excuse for failing an interview or whatever. Engineering, mechanic, Microbiology graduates dey work for bank, Na Business Education bank go ignore? Stop looking down on that course, u don't know what u got. Except u just studied d course since dat was what was given to u when u got admission. U probably never liked it from d start, dats probably d reason anyone wud think their course is an obstacle to getting a good job. |

Arisheloaded:Bro u actually studied a beautiful course, but u seen to under rate it. No employer is looking at ur course in anyway, it's d mindset u hv towards d course dat makes u interpret situations wrongly. I also studied Business Education Accounting option, and I currently work in the Bank. U know that course is broad, and expose u to a lot of things. It's a course that helps u become innovative, so by dis, u shud never be broke. Bro whatever u love doing, start doing it in a professional way, while u apply ur business sense to it. |
What a country!!! |
Oya take your prayers.... |
Na Buhari talk all dis one, abi dem write am for am? |
Siena:Well, if that's how u choose to interpret my comment, it's ur choice. Wud d situation b different if I had typed *tears*? Thr was a simple reason for dat joke, dat was for d FTC thing. So stop bn too serious wit comments. |
Siena:Oga leave dat one, will my tears change anything? |

banjicom:Lol...U don't hv to, abi dem dey dash money if u trust me? ![]() |
When u become as rich as she is, u can keep drinking garri. Haters oshi ![]() |

I didint kidnap him o. Oops OP sorry I tink say I hear my name for ur mouth, it must b dis FTC fever ![]() |
vivaciousvivi:U must understand that, the same way people think and behave to each other in reality, it's same way u see characters on social media. U will always find d negative minded as well as positive minded people on social media. U don't expect everyone to be happy at what u do or what u think. It's social media, everyone is free to express themselves. So wen u bring up family issues to social media, u shud b ready to accept any form of reactions. |
That's what social media is meant for... |
by the way, the one across my street is still looking ugly and devastating
