Intelligent and focused Dr. Jimah, in his quest for self dependency and realization, established JIMSU Enterprises and Technical Services Company which he managed effectively and subsequently metamorphosed it into a strong and reliably Consultancy outfit, Jimah &Partners. He ran this consultancy firm to a prime concern and gave mentorship and references to other Technical Consultancy outfits in Auchi in particular and Edo State in general.

Realizing that man's satisfaction must be derived from his acknowledged positive impacts on mankind especially in transference of knowledge, MSJ as he is also popularly referred, got employed into the services of Auchi Polytechnic in 1990 as a Part Time Instructor, a position he held for about two(2) years before he became an Instructor with the Polytechnic. He later rose to become a Lecturer in 1997 and subsequently a Chief Lecturer.

Dr. Jimah Sanusi Momodu's academic prowess, leadership diligence and dedication are evident in the numerous positions he has held in Auchi Polytechnic academic environment. Some of such positions which are too numerous to mention are:

*Assistant Dean, School of part Time Studies 2002-2005
*Acting Director, Consultancy Service Unit 2005-2007
*Staff Adviser NAURPS 2004
Director, Poly Consults 2007-2008
*Dean, School of Environmental Studies 2008-2009
*Director,Centre for Entrepreneurship Development CEDAP 2009-2011.

Articulate, energetic and pragmatic Jimah is an active member , Nigerian Institute of Town Planners, Registered Institute of Town Planners, International Research and Development Institute and Associate member, Environmental Management Association of Nigeria. He is also a fellow, Institute of Chartered Economists, Institute of Chartered Administrators of Nigeria, Institute of Entrepreneurship of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Educational Management and Administration,USA and Institute of Industrial Administration of Nigeria.

In his scholarly records, Dr Jimah has presented papers in numerous seminars and workshops and he has also published several books on diverse subjects and topics. Some of his published books include; Fundamentals of Building Construction Materials , Part 1 &2, Theory of Socio- Economic Statistics, An Introduction to Demographic Methods, Statistics Methods of Social Science , Etc.
