Can you confirm the state you are looking at? What exactly do you intend to spend the funds on? Is the amount you propose going to be sufficient for rent, equipment, etc?
It’s a suburban location. The truth is that there’s a lot more that can be done with more funding but it’s pretty much the basics as it’s a surbuban location, luxury and state of the art isn’t of primary concern at the moment.. The clinic will grow to that stage. The funding will be spent on rent, furniture, inventory and marketing. generally..for now the amount will suffice..

And yes I have the skills and competence and more than most optometrists.

You say you have run two eye clinics from scratch...Why did you leave?

What are you doing currently?

Which state is the location you have in mind for the clinic (You don't have to disclose the name of the town)reside in t

Do you currently reside in this town?

Do you have the competence and skill to perform minor surgeries assuming the senior ophthalmologists are not available?

You said the initial capital you need is N828,000. How much are you ready to contribute as your share of equity to start up the business?

I believe you learn more about everything; relationships, skills, attitudes, and knowledge when you work in different places. Yes I reside in the state which I have in mind for the eye clinic (permanently to be precise)
There’s a limitation to what optometrist can do, in terms of pathology.. there’s no way any optometrist can perform any surgery (legally) and If the ophthalmologist isn’t around, there’s always another. It’s a circle thing.
Just so we are clear.
Ophthalmologist: They are the surgeons. They perform every and any surgery pertaining to the eye. And deal with all kinds of pathology
Optometrist: Refract, Treats certain eye diseases and occasionally perform foreign body removal; I’d hardly call that a surgery.

These two are two very different bodies with two very different duties.
I already put Currently about N330k in the procurement of the some of the major equipments that I’ll be needing. Alas the practice needs more that just basics.

Of course, I am talking about investment. Unfortunately, signed agreement with guarantors doesnt mean that I will get my investment back. Its difficult to get an investor without collateral in Naija of today.
Yeah I guess Nigeria of today is that bad.. Nobody’s word counts for much these days.. But that’s what I have to offer, if I did have a collateral, I would have probably gotten a loan or something.. What I have offered in terms of guarantors and my family’s permanent residence is enough for you to understand that I mean business.. You’ll be aware of the Business’ Activities, location, down to the daily financials.. In a way you’ll be a partner; which is primarily what being an investor means; Being a partner.

How much is the capital you are looking for? What's the turn over rate and what collateral do you have?
Capital= N828,000.00..
I thought it was an investment? I don’t have any landed securities but I can sign an agreement and provide you with guarantors and my family’s permanent residence.
After 12months, I estimate twice the investment amount. Which of course will be done on a profit sharing module we’ll probably agree on.

You don't necessarily have to meet all the conditions 100%.

Just prove to me that the business is real and you understand it and also have the skills, experience and knowledge to run it successful in order to grow it and make money
Ok. I have a degree in optometry and I have worked with about seven eye clinics in Lagos and have run two of these clinics from scratch. Making money from an eye clinic depends on two things majorly. The people (age and population)and the location (proximity and convinience in relation to the people). The location I have in mind currently satisfies this. With a current population of about 500,000, most of which are advanced age-wise.. this is important because the older we get the more our vision detiorates. and there is no current eye clinic in the location for at least 11km, it’s the perfect location for a clinic, it’ll save the people time and money and above all it’ll be convinient for the residents.
I have worked for one of the best clinics in Lagos, and was the lead optometrist in charge of treating patients, the skill cannot be questioned. I have worked with more than 5 different ophthalmologist and I have contacts with few of them for Surgical purposes.
In any business, people equals money. Various marketing strategies exists to draw in a lot of people from regular weekly screenings to one on one marketing.
I understand the business very well.. it’s the one business I excel at and have been doing for the longest of time.
Is the business real? Well I have been working as an optometrist for a pretty long time so I know what works and how it work in that light the possibilities of making a good amount of money from it is very real. If you mean if the business is grounded, has a location and is already established, well the answer would be no. I wouldn’t be here typing this long message if it was. The good thing about eye clinics is when it starts its self sufficient under a year and grows steadily as time moves. The only danger to an eye clinic is another eye clinic in close proximity. Saturation reduces the amount of organic clients and that’s bad for business.

I'm wiling to consider all sectors of the economy so long as the business is not ilegal
What I have doesn’t satisfy your all your requirements though but you I’m absolutely sure about the ROI. The business is an eye clinic in a Suburban location, currently untouched by any. If this interests you, I could elaborate more.

Career / Re: How To Write A Winning Business Proposal by davincizlyrics: 9:53pm On Sep 25, 2017
deremisola:
Culled from https://www.associatebox.com/career-blog/entry/how-to-write-a-winning-business-proposal.html

The Business Proposal is a vital document not only for people in the sales sector but also for any individual who wants to submit a professional proposition for approval.

The process of writing one begins with a clear understanding of the client wants, his problems and priorities. In most cases, a request for proposal is firs released by the client and it is very necessary to read it very well. This might seems as something that does not need too much attention, but in recent times most proposals get rejected due to the fact the RFP content did not reflect in the final proposal. The more knowledge you have of the needs of your client, his decision making techniques and philosophy the better your chances of submitting a winning proposal. If the chance arises, meet with the client face to face and ask intelligent questions regarding your proposal.

The proposal must contain the following main attributes

1.Management Summary. This is always addressed to the busy senior manager or executive and it’s usually in few words and in less than one page. It should carry the main element of the proposal.

2.The Background. This describes the present situation, the requirement or the problem. This part carries information about a solution been needed and the prompt action required to be taken. The main goals of the proposition are summarized here.

3.Your Proposal. This is the part where you explain thoroughly about your proposal and why the client needs to see it as a working one. This section totally explains the processes and the methods you wish to use as a tool in delivering the objective.

4.The Costs. This part is very essential. It should indicate what it will take to execute the contract or project and also the returns that come from it at the end.

5.The Benefits. You can spell out the benefits of the proposal to the client in this section. Hard benefit such as profit and returns can be mentioned while soft benefits right rights and image of the company or client can also be stated.

6.Why You? This is the essential part that should nail the proposal. Why are you the top choice above others? Why should your proposal be given a strong consideration? What you have to offer is needed in this section and it must be convincing.

7. Draft Action Plan. This is where your client will really know that you mean to take the proposal to a greater height. How you intend to start or call to action the required things, time and essential tools for the commencement of the project written in the proposal should be stated here.

8. Appendices. Any tables, detailed research or data should be added in separate appendices.

Now that you have finished writing your proposal, ask yourself two questions that the client might ask from you.

Why us? Do your estimates, bids and other qualities show that you are better than the other clients waiting to take on the project? Why now? Does your proposal give us any reason to choose you now?

Don’t write a proposal and submit it just like that. Get someone with like minds to read thoroughly and make corrections in case there are errors. Don’t rush to submit, let it spend 2-3 days with you while you re-read. Consistent revisions will improve your proposal.
In most cases the client’s decisions are made by clients based on the proposal they receive. Increase your chance of succeeding by making your proposal accurate, professional, timely and meeting the needs of the client.

The team at associatebox.com is fully wired to put you through the hassle of writing a winning proposal. You can send your questions and drop your comments at our business support platform. We will be online to give answers to them.

In the Fulani tribe, traditions is highly regarded and still holds strong even in this present day. When a Fulani boy comes of age, he has to endure a great deal of pain to be considered a man. First, they spend hours looking for the perfect stick. This stick will later be used to whip their opponent. Their opponent will in turn be hitting them back. The boy who flinches less while being hit, and hits their opponent the hardest will be declared the winner.
