I had these two experiences yesterday.

First one, google maps already told me I have gotten to the riders destination, but the rider said no o, and still kept on directing me for like 5 mins till we got to his exact place, so I told you him that he should have just used his exact house address but he said bolt don’t usually bring the exact address that’s why he do use the address which googles maps followed.
What should I have done in this case. End trip ? Or Extra mins means extra money?


Second experience was at shop rite, I carried a lady from Magodo but google maps gave me a direction which I was following from magodo as we got closer to shop rite, the rider(a Lady) just started shouting that I am following the wrong way by going straight just as google maps showed, that I should have turned some where else, but I calmly responded to her that I have been following the map since the beginning of the ride and all, but she just kept shouting that it is because I want the money to increase and all, she even asked me to turn back somewhere where they boldly placed a signboard showing no U-TURN and I refused to turn, this lady just wasn’t having it, so she then asked me to end the trip, I ended it but still carried her back to the shop rite gate since that’s where I will be taking back home and I was already done for the day. So I remember that someone once said on the thread that they pay for parking, so I then told her that will she pay for parking so I take her in or she alight outside. She then alighted and by then I was already on the shoprite entrance road. And I just had to enter so as to turn and come out through the exit. I didn’t know that the card I was given at the entrance means I have to pay 200 naira( I thought it was just they way they give tag in Unilag when you enter and collect back when you are going out). So after the delay in going out back for like 10 minutes. That was how the security guys collecting the card just shouted that I have to turn back and park, then go and pay the 200 naira.

Omo had to turn back again, pay, before I was now able to go out. Luckily for me, I got a matching trip back to Gbagada which is just close to my house.

Just did that and close.

That's how dumb these riders are. Imagine her asking for my name.

I think you re wrong here. We all know that minimum trip fare is 600. I did a couple of such trips yesterday and the calculation for each shows that bolt charges more than 20 percent now.

Cos Bolt is now charging Riders extra 3% which u collect from Rider but it's not for u. So when they deduct it from ur balance it seems like they are charging u more than 20%.

So check your distance and time and u will see ur money isn't upto 1k

u r very observant. I am supposed to get 3600 from a trip of 4500 @ 20% but see wht i got.. I never noticed but ur post made me to open my app now and calculate, and from my calculations now it shows they stole 117 from me

I later saw this in my insurance policy and was very angry at myself for not noticing it initially.

They are yet to pay me my balance, since 2weeks. I also picked someone yesterday evening, from Awoyaya to chemist Finbarr's road, with all the mad traffic I encountered, money came to 6k.

My phone is very good. My network is also very good. Bolt is really messed up. I beat my chest and say it again and again...they are messed up big time. Uber is the best!

For some of us taking transfers, note that some bank transfers do reverse, especially if riders use Access ban or Kuda bank. I had this funny experience with a rider who transferred from Kuda today. Thank God Na guy wey get church mind. He did the transfer in my presence and I saw successful. Na so I comot for another trip. Minutes later alert no reach. I had to call him. He asked me to come over cos he would prefer I take him else again.

Twas when I got to his place I narrated fully to him that the transfer didn't go through.

After ending the new trip with him, then he tried transferring to me thrice. Each was successful. But lo and behold, they were all reversed.

The last one later went through as I saw the alert in my bank app.

So, watch your eye out there.

I called bolt customer care today and from the response ingot from the correspondent it obvious we drivers are just letting every single issue slide without leaving a review or a report. You can imagine Bolt correspondent didnt believe there are riders with 3.0 rating still making requests on their app.

Stupid app, stupid riders! 80% of your riders are I'll-mannered and rogue... That's what i told the correspondent. That was the very first time I'd to put a call throw Bolt and I'm happy I defined their stupidity to them.

For goodness sake, how would you order a ride and a Benz pulled over, greeted you, you say in front, started making phone calls while I mind my business, you demanded some money to buy something and I gave you (after all I can afford to marry you, feed u with any kids u have and ur family included self), now, I followed d map for some reason you said I took a wrong turn, trip ended I reminded you of the money I lend you, you did a transfer and left with a frozen face like I dashed you the money.

The next thing my rating dropped afterwards my account got blocked. Isn't the app stupid? So it's a crime to ask for my money abi?

Truth is most guys doing this work now are accidental drivers. They just decided to do the work cos they heard that money dey there. Most don't know how to really drive. I see them on the roads every day.

One of una defensive driver just destroyed my side mirror. The worse was that he ignored me like nothing happened. The rider begged me and said he would give me 3k to fix it. This guy still told him not to give me up to 3k.
