They cheat drivers too with the compensation.

Rider didn't pay a fare of 1000 naira. Bolt paid you half, which is 500 naira. Whereas they already deducted 20 percent of the whole fare as well as 20 naira for the road.

So, now you can imagine how much you have left from the 500 Naira they paid you.

Guys watch out for fake transfers from riders this season. Picked this girl on Indriver after closing from work today. At the drop off, she she asked for account details. Fiam, she said it had gone after confirming my name.

OK, so dem don debit you? She said yes. Oya lemme confirm.
As I no see anything, I si asked for her debit alert. Na so she said, I oh, so it didn't go through. Give me your number again. She did twice more. At last a debit alert from nowhere came.

As I no see my money, I insisted she waits for the confirmation from my app. Las las Na the boy she con Bleep pay the 1k.

Obviously she had nothing in her account.

Guys shine your eyes especially when the transfer is via ussd code.

Some drivers must have been going there to pick such riders. Reason they won't bulge. I just wish her account got blocked that day.

I had a similar experience last weekend. I went to pick a rider inside an estate. The street is tarred by half. The untarred part was heavily waterlogged.

I stopped at the end of the tarred area. The rider's house started the untarred area. Now, there are little dry spots that pedestrians walk through to avoid entering the water.

The rider came out and instead of walking through the dry part to come and enter the car, she was gesturing to me in a very rude way to enter the water and come in front of the gate.

I looked at this person, I don't really understand why she wants me to enter the water when she could just walk up and enter the car. I was just looking at her, looking at the water and while trying to process the scenario, she just entered inside and canceled.

I just turned off my engine and decided to teach her some lesson. She requested three times and got me and canceled. After waiting for some minutes, she requested for the 4th time and still got me and canceled before I received another request and left there.

Some of these guys are just impossible.

Guys be careful about transfer this season. I had this experience this afternoon.

After I ended the trip, rider did transfer and told me he d been debited. As per say Na 700 naira and he also rated me in my presence, I let him go. 4 hours later other transfers entered except his. I had to call him after about 5 hours.

He told me to resend my account details. 30 mins later I saw the alert.

Till now, I have I can't say what really happened. But I saw him do the transfer also watch out for riders that will do incomplete fare transfer.

God no go shame us o. Happy hustling.

The guy I picked yesterday night to Ikeja on 1.9. He didn't come out of the event centre until after about 15 mins paid waiting. Trip ended 6600. Na so Alaye dey para. That what he saw was less than that. He did 6k. I jejely told him he must complete the money. He gave me 500 naira as balance. I still asked for my 100 naira balance. This was a guy who expected me to do 120kph and compete with pilots on my 3rd mainland bridge.

After paying the 100 naira, Alaye was like: Oga you too kala o. In my mind, you too ka alubosa.

Next time make request only when you re ready.

Another idiot rider made a request on 1.9x at Igbo Efon axis around evening time. After arriving, I called her. She said she was coming. 10 mins after, she called that she would see me now. On the dot of 18 mins paid waiting she cancelled. I saw her out come out. Checked my car and booked again. I moved away from her. Request came to me 4 times and I made sure she cancel all.

After the last cancellation, she called my line and started asking me if I was not going. I sha told her my mind. ALWAYS BOOK Ride ONLY WHEN YOU Re READY.
I guess she was blocked after the 5th cancellation. Na so I get another request on 1.9. These ones too delayed close to 20 mins before they came out.

The moment you waste my time waiting, and your fare goes up, no mercy.

Hitting this debt threshold for the first time yesterday. I actually paid them in the morning forgetting that payments are not attended to on weekends.

Thanks to some advice got here that helped reduce it coupled with their bonus.

Don't be too worried about bolt rating. It is never stable. Just stay focused on what you re doing, and making sure you limit the number of rider you confront on some issues.

As per bolt removing trip, I guess is another way to make sure you don't win their bonus. I have experienced it twice now. In fact, yesterday they removed 2 of my trips as well as the hours. I badly needed that bonus to drop my debt profile.

Just strive to do more than the target given.

Please what can I do to increase my rating, I think bolt app is not working well. Despite riders giving me 5 star, my rating refuse to come up o. They sent message to me 3 days ago that my rating is low and send tips on how to improve on it.

Also, many times they don't include all my trips, I might have done 8 trips but on my app it will be showing 5 trips. This has made me lost some bonuses.
Please gurus in the house...help.

Lastly how do I report a rider or an issue to bolt? Please help with the email.

I suspected. But the app updated when the rider change destination. It was on throughout the waiting period till I took him back. Or are they thinking we didn't move out? Even that, the total time up there should be more than what they offered. Funny enough, they have taken their commission.

Except on correct surge, NEVER allow rider change destination. Always insist to 3nd the first trip.

Bolt is just too cheap for my liking! In a bid to win the competition and get all Nigerians patronise them massively to the detriment of hard working drivers, they make executive trips too cheap and in the long run, it will affect them. Uber will never charge this low!

Anyways, just report to bolt. It's not as if they will do anything!

They give bonuses to riders and at the end, they use abracadabra to give you back. Riders refuse to pay, you complain to bolt, they tell you they will compensate. Wey the money? It has reflected in your App! Wayo people! Why not transfer it to my acct direct. At times when I end trip and see the amount, I get so discouraged! Na like this we go take hit the 1million ba?

I'm trying to activate my Uber. Bolt na rubbish!
