I just hope that Diamond Bank will show me love with good rates. Surprisingly thier VISA Cards take only 3 working days. Dats cool. So by Thursday or Friday latest, I should be able to share Diamond Bank rates. Cheers. Feedback on the card |

blueyedgeek: Cool, how does it compare with Angularjs since you have said it is used as just the 'V' in the MVC architecture. Isn't angularjs a full mvc-ish framework? Basically, React makes use of a Virtual DOM(for reconciliation). React uses one directional flow style as opposed to the two-way data binding done in Angular. ReactJS is so fast that instead of rendering the View(V) on the client as AngularJS does it(which is slow), It instead renders its UI on the server, lots of advantages here -- 1) SEO, 2). It doesn't joke with the DOM, cuz it knows the DOM is slow, that's where the term Virtual DOM comes is for reconciliation (updates the view with the difference calculated from the DOM and its own Virtual DOM). blueyedgeek: Yipee!! Thou art remembered us. Great.
Two questions: * with the sweeping changes coming to angularjs in version 2.0, is it advisable to invest time in learning the framework?
* Which other JavaScript framework out there would you say is a viable alternative to angularjs? BackBoneJS - also based-off the MVC architecture or ReactJS -- which is just the V(View) in MVC |

Leopantro: Okay, more research came up with the below.
I have an issue with disappearing phone storage. Over the course of a week I realized that I was losing about 1MB a day. My phone would basically be dormant and I would still see my storage space dropping by this amount everyday. Cache cleaning didn't work. Later I realized that Android creates a bunch of log files in Data/ System/Dropbox that was responsible for the disappearing phone storage trick I've been seeing for a while now. I know now that Google has incorporated into Android as of the 2.2 iteration, a DropBox Manager that's responsible for logging all of the events that take place during the course of a running Android session. Everything from what took place at boot to force close details.
TO SOLVE THIS
The first thing I tried was changing the permissions on the "Data/System/Dropbox" directory and it worked. But I didn't use CHMOD and console command line to do it. I have a program called Root Explorer that allows me to permanently change the permissions on any file or folder I select. I set all of the offending folders to read only and the log files stopped being written to those folders. These are the directories I set to read only: 1. "Data/System/Dropbox" 2. "Data/System/UsageStats" 3. "Data/Tombstones" Since changing the permissions on these folders my phone storage has stopped dwindling out of control. No additional programming necessary.
Seems like any crash files and logcats all get dumped in the data / tombstone files, after more searching , one member with a Samsung moment had a tombstone file 200 mb.
FOR NON ROOTED PHONES
You can download connectbot from the market , for people with low storage space warnings Thanks for sharing.... |

ladywriter: I just felt like sharing with you guys again on the need to upgrade your knowledge. Have you ever noticed that when you desire something, you start seeing it all around you. Let me be more clearer. For instance, if you are looking forward to buying a Lexus Jeep or any other car model (sorry, i don't know much about car models), you start seeing it on the road and each time you see it, your desire increases. Another example, if you are newly married and looking forward to getting pregnant, you discover that any corner you turn, you start noticing pregnant women. The fact is, those Lexus jeeps have been plying the road without you taking a conscious look for a long time before you developed the interest. Pregnant women have been walking past you for decades without you noticing them. However, because it is dominant in your thought, you start seeing it everywhere around you.
I used these scenarios to explain my next point. If you upgrade your skills, you start seeing projects (opportunities) along that line. Recently, I have been doing that, I needed to upgrade my skills. So, I embarked on a massive research, got lots of e-books in the niche and read like there is no tomorrow. Guess what, each time I logged into freelancer, I stumbled upon projects requesting for this same skill and i wondered why I have not been seeing them before now. Is it because they have not been posting such projects, no. The problem is with me, I have to upgrade my skills to see opportunities in that niche. Is the project fee the same with my other skills, No. It is much, much more. It is a professional skill. Thanks for this piece....... motivating enough, on what I'm presently learning though not the writing turf... #Improve |

AirborneLacer: Flop of the season, there's no debating it.
You know there's a reason why some commodities are way costlier than the others in a supermarket. Balotelli isn't a player who can lift a team, I've not seen him do it at any club, I wasn't expecting that either at Liverpool were most of the players are fringe stars. True! He just hasn't done anything to help LFC this season... Assist-wise, Goals, inpiration, none at all, he's still got his crazy behaviour on the streets, Benzeama should'a been bought.....even Eto would'a performed far better by now. BTW Coli has got too many lovers lately, I don't even know my stand anymore. So open those eyes and watch closely |

dhtml18: I tried sharing one of the versions then, but people did not contribute to it leaving me to do all the testings, finding bugs, fixing bugs and all that. Since i ended up doing all the work, suggesting feature upgrades and all that all by myself. Now that the framework / cms is now more powerful than joomla, drupal, wordpress, and even oxwall (from my own point of view because i pirated features from all these sources). My fear is that if i share the code of this source (and i want to), i will find myself being responsible for answering lots of questions, single-handedly working on all the documentations, testings, debugging and all that. . . . .and i am not ready for that right now, that is why i am keeping it private until further notice. True that.... Noted |
