I chose the following
From: 2012.
To: I did not select anything

I am trying to update but the payment is not going through

I sent email, it has not been replied, I called, no one is picking

I dont know if its a serious problem

From Admission status towards the end, there are something like

TPE: Passed
O'Level: Passed
Work Experience: 2012- Select Date: Failed( put value or select year)

I check my admission status today and all is fyn except for work experience.

I selected From: 2012 To: select date and I see Failed on this.

I try to update my record which cost 1000 but its not going through.

My eligibility from application status remains YES

Please, is it necessary to update the work experience to today's date(as am still working) or I should just leave it.

Good one for them. One problem of Nigeria is this soo called stupid media.

Now on my lecturers, last night when I got the message of we resuming soon, I shook my head and lamented. 11months of owed arrears and salaries, Govts paid just 6months. 2 Govts, upon all the bailouts and Paris funds.

What LAUTECH need is not just a mere resumption, we need a blueprint, a committed MoU, or a solid agreement. If our lecturers should just consider the students now and resume back to work, do we have any verified assurance that we won't be going back to this strike after the next semester exam, just as it happened last year after a whole year at home, they (the Govts) foolishly paid a dime and romanced out lecturers to work and after few weeks, we are back to our striking status.

I won't preach a hurried resumption, buh a lasting solution solution all this quarterly presentation of strike.

Students of the Ladoke Akintola
University of Technology have
resumed for studies after a
directive by the university
management.
The school was closed in June
last year as lecturers went on
strike to demand payment of
their salaries.
In a circular earlier distributed
by management of LAUTECH
and signed by Jacob Agboola,
the school asked all academic
and non-academic staff to
resume on Friday.
PREMIUM TIMES had earlier
reported that lecturers had
vowed not to resume Friday
even when students resume.
By Friday morning, most
lecturers did not resume.
Speaking with PREMIUM TIMES,
chairman of ASUU, LAUTECH
Chapter, Biodun Olaniran, said
the Oyo and Osun state
governments were not serious
with ensuring full resumption
of the school.
“The truth is that there have
been no efforts to ensure that
we resume; students who have
resumed are only here to play
and really we will not resume
until our demands are met,” he
said. “We have said until our
demands are met, we will not
resume and that is what we are
doing today.”
“If the students stay in school
for one or two weeks, I don’t
know what they will be doing,
until we get a directive from
our national body after our
demands have been met, we
remain on strike.”

Just to think about it, You owe someone 7 months salary, they're at home suffering and you are coming with offer of 41% of one month salary for them to resume in January. I don't think it works like that. Also considering the indigent student, when the school fee was moved from 6k to 40k I know people that withrew not to talk of 300k. Oyo state compound its problem by continuing ownership with Osun after everything was settled in 2010 all because of politics AND also established it's own University-Oyo state Technical University, then convert the only 1 Polytechnic into 3.
By and large, the government need to find a way round ds not to suffer the students, parents and the workers
