I was asked to present that in Owerri for a " proposed " building.. matterfact the person insisted that I must use their guy for the report. Well that site is left like that since 2013.

Letter for As-built approval will have clause of Indemnity/ Structural stability

For a proposed building that you're seeking approval for, no one would ask you for structural stability test or report.

The drawings required are only those listed in my post for a new project.

You'll only be required to submit stability report if the building is existing and you're seeking fresh approval or renovation permit.

The lady asked requirements for approval on a proposed building and not on an existing building.

I repeat he/she doesn't need a stability test report for a land without building, except you mean a land needs to be tested whether it is stable or about to be hit by earthquake.

Officially, which would be paid via LIRS is ₦5,700+ or thereabout. But that individual that would be running around for you to fast track, would definitely not do it for free. Hence, budget in Total for official and fast tracking ₦10,000.

Lagos State Planning Permit Authority have district offices all over Lagos, If you can state the locality the site is I can give you the address if you don't mind.
Also if it's 2 floors and above ( by 2 floors I mean ground floor and first floor) you would need letter of Structural stability cos it will be collected at the planning office.

It is structural drawings that is required in this case, showing calculations of the load and to be signed by a COREN engineer

6) 5 sets of Electrical Drawings (commercial building)
7) Tax Clearance
Planning Technical Report(where necessary)
Soil test report

Submit all these to the District office of Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority at the LGA where the property is located

I am not trying to criticize site supervisors, engineers or artisans, but sometimes, developers (property owners) need to always check price quotation given.

I just saved N161,000 over billing by Engineer, thanks to verification I did on Nairaland about the actual cost of timber for roofing.

Once you get any quote, please check from 3-4 others and if same in terms of pricing and quality, go for anyone you like
