ambyzown: Thank you Davodyguy & Emmachile. I had to buy the Dlink 125 Rev A3 and it was basically plug and play. I'm using WiFi on my Qsat via a Huawei GSM router on MTN. All channels seem to be working, but freezes occasionally. Also tested it with my Samsung Note 3 hotspot on etisalat 1.5gb monthly plan and it worked.
For those who still have erratic pictures, I would suggest you get either a WiFi or 3G usb adapter.

You need Dlink WiFi adapter. Plug it to your queen, select WiFi, configure and you're fine

I want to to name the one that works with both Strong and Qsat. I use Dlink, which works only on Qsat but not on strong

Etisalat used to be the best but now, its not working at all. Glo too didnt work at my end. What i did was to buy 250mb on my MTN line, inserted the sim in my phone and used wifi hotspot. I connected Dlink to the back of my qbox and it was able to work, getting signal from the Phone.

EMMAACHILE: Both of you might be correct. Let me say this clear after testing it on my device this morning.
Airtel blackberry plan will not connect without its specific Apn but if you have credit, it will work like mtn and glo. My findings are below

1. The airtel sim with credit only connected with Etisalat Apn which means it works just plugging it in

2. The airtel sim with blackberry plan will not work on Etisalat Apn except if it's Apn is internet.ng.airtel.com

3. The airtel blackberry plan does not work in a HUAWEI router while the airtel direct credit works.

4. The airtel blackberry plan does not work in azsky while the direct airtel credit works.

I will be testing Glo later

yes. The e303 modem supports all networks without adjusting anything.

EMMAACHILE: For all network to work with modem, the apn must be created on the decoder. That is what I mean. I use any network I want on my modem. If you have any problem with any network, let me know.

Just as I posited above, I have never touched my decoder APN. Its plug and play. Insert Glo, Airtel, Mtn or etisalat into the 3g modem, plug to the back of Qsat, select 3g configuration and you'll see network connection success, without doing anything else. That's what's happening here though. It may be different elsewhere. On speed HD or queen, I have never touched the Apn

EMMAACHILE: Ok. I now get you. Any network on the phone will still work on the wifi adapter without the need to change anything on the decoder. What I mean is this
If you use etisalat or mtn or glo, etc for your wifi hotspot, it will still use the same settings on the decoder as long as your apn on your phone is correct especially for glo and airtel.

let's get some things right. The phone's APN needs not to be touched on any network. For instance on Android, once you insert you Sim in a dual Sim enabled phone, it automatically gets the APN, without manual configuration. This is why we can browse on our phones with any network.
Now if you use WiFi hotspot from the phone (sim1 or 2) it will automatically connect to another WiFi enabled device once you have the password.

For modem s like huawei, they automatically connects with any of the 4 gsm Sims, once you insert either Sim, you're good to go. I have never ever touched my APN before on any network. Dlink or huawei connects here straight away. Some modems will require APN change though

EMMAACHILE: Then use mtn or etisalat which are not apn specific. I see some people even changing country to Egypt. It looks very funny and it still works for them.

that all networks would work with modem, without adjusting the Apn. I'm talking from experience. Right now, 8:32pm, I'm watching through Wifi hotspot phone to Dlink MTN

Emma, that's not true here o. Only MTN works. Etisalat which seems to be the best is dead. I'm using MTN with WIFI modem now

zoboizee: i hope they close this thread soon. qsat is not your regular fta box. its a programmed hacking machine and there are many of its kind for europe, south america n middle east. dey dnt create thread for it like this where efrything is mentioned. this is how avatar n azsky g series got killed. efry tom, dick n harry now come online to type efrything dat happen to their box. kindly call ur seller nxt tym. fyi, hacking machine crack/ hang/freeze a lot or once in a while so get used to it or dont buy at all. I have to agree with you. That's why i don't like posting here again. These newbies are just messing up this thread. We begged the moderator to even allow this thread in the first place cos issues regarding system hacking or dongles are not allowed on Nairaland. I promised twinstaiye that no one will mention DSTV channels or call the name of any paytv. Some ignorant folks have broken that rule. We said pple should use codes, hell no, they now openly discuss qsat as if its a DSTV decoder.

The aim of this thread is to assist pple with challenges and SW. But the idea of pple coming here to cry whenever anything happens is nauseating.

FYI, Qsat is for FTA by default, if its able to hack scrambled channels, its illegal without the Paytv permitting such. If you're using an Illegal thing, expect it to go off at anytime and when this happens, accept your fate. FTA will never go out. Its a case of you advertising on Nairaland without paying Seun the owner of the site or you boarding commercial bus without paying the fare. When you're caught, accept your fate and if you're not, accept your fate.

I really hope those behind all those facebook pages and groups would be arrested some day

someone should pls help. My N7 Seems not to work on 3g. Anytime the H sign appears, it will not connect unless the E sign appears. I changed location yet to no avail. on other phone, the 3g works well with same etisalat Sim. what can I do? 2g is slower.

its still the same with glo. I saw 3G on glo but it will still not connect. When I got the phone newly, it wasn't like that. Just started two weeks Saturday.
I'm posting with my etisalat sim with HTC Android. Very fast with HSDPA. on Tecno N7,it will not browse on HSDPA except on edge

I already did factory reset, Yet no solution. Reset the phone and lost my apps, had to redownload them again

Lanreallenjay: I am 90% sure the solution to that issue is for you to change the rom of your phone... something is wrong with it... you either get another working n7 rom or get a custom rom.

Lanreallenjay: Okay, try reseting your network settings... You'll do that in settings-networksettings - more - mobilenetworks- access point names- press options and click on reset to default. If it doesn't work, do a factory reset to your phone.

Thanks my bro. I don't think its a problem with ported lines. Customer care said its possible and someone else said that also.

When I called him, he said its a general problem and that he can even send data to other etisalat lines. I decided to give him the benefit of doubt till tomorrow
