I e been seeing lots of adverts online recent from people saying they can provide proof of funds to visa applicants. Please what magic are they trying to sell? Is it not that the ECO would review inflows and outflows into your account in the last 6 months? What magic will these advertisers perform few days to your visa application submission? |
KINGKONG:How much is your current account balance? Not monthly income, but current balance in your account if you're the sponsor or that of the sponsor |

Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared winner of the February, 2023 by INEC having won by simple majority. However, BAT may not have won among the majority of the voters. here is why he may face herculean task if he does not unite Nigerians 1. The constitution is clear on how a president can emerge. The person must win by simple majority of all the votes cast and must outscore other canditates, as well as winning minimum of 25% in 24 to 25 states in Nigeria. Bola Tinubu achieved this. He won the majority of the votes casts. BAT won the election with 36.61% of the total vote cast on that day which is 24,900,000. He got 8,794,726 total votes Atiku got 6,984,520 votes equal to 29.07% Obi got 6,101,533 votes equal to 25.40% Kwankwaso got 1,496,687 votes to equal 6.40% By the above anaylsis, BAT won the election. However, did the majority of the 24,900,000 voters vote for him that day? The answer is NO Out of 24,900,000 which is 100%, BAT won only 36.61% meaning 63.39% did not vote for BAT The 63.39% that did not vote for BAT represent all the votes gotten by Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso, Sowore, etc which is about 16,105,274 people that voted against BAT. BAT supporters may wonder why so many dissent against his win, despite garnering as must as 8,794,726. What they should know is that 16,105,274 people did not vote for him, this is like time 2 of the votes he got. Hence, a lot of Nigerians are against him. This is the first time this is happening in Nigeria that a winner emerged not winning majority of the votes cast on election date. In 2019, Buhari won 55.60% of the votes, with Atiku getting 41.22%. If you add all the votes of Atiku with other Opposition, it is less than that of Buhari In 2015, Buhari won 53.96% of the votes, with Jonathan getting 44.96%. If you add all the votes of Jonathan with other Opposition, it is less than that of Buhari In 2011, Jonathan won 58.87% of the votes, Buhari got 31.97% and Nuhu Ribadu got 5.44%. If you add all the votes of Buhari with other Opposition, it is less than that of Jonathan In 2007, Yar Adua won 69.60% of the votes, Buhari got 18.66% and Atiku got 7.45%. If you add all the votes of Buhari with other Opposition, it is less than that of Yar Adua. In 2003, Obasanjo won 61.94% of the votes, with Buhari getting. 32.19%. If you add all the votes of Buhari with other Opposition, it is less than that of Obasanjo. In 1999, Obasanjo won 62.78% with Olu Falae getting 37.22%. If you add all the votes of Falae with other Opposition, it is less than that of Obasanjo. It is only in 2023 that BAT won by 36.61% of the total votes cast on election and all opposition votes dwarf his percentage by almost 200%. From 1999 to 2019, all winners scored 50% or more, but this year, BAT got less than 50%. Not that this really matters according to the constitution, but it matters among the citizens. BAT has so much work to do, as it is obvious not majority of Nigerians voted or liked him. |
Vinnie2000:The panel was merely a truth and reconciliation panel set up by Obasanjo. Hence, they had no constitutional backing and anyone they invited can decide not to come, with nothing happening for rejection. It's like Confab. Recommendations can be rejected |
Investorozay:Oyedepo, Father Kuka etc are major critics of this administration. Why have they not been arrested? You can criticise, but don't cause tension |
Alarmists every where There are over 100million Nigerians, DSS is yet to invite a million and would not need to except you miss yarn or chat rubbish that can create tension in the land. DSS doesn't just invite random people or pastors |
dangoteinlaw:What experience does fresh out of school graduate have? You can't call a graduate an engineer until he or she gets certified by Coren It's like a fresh graduate of Law, claiming to be a lawyer without being called to BAR |
It is no longer news that the 2023 presidential election has been won and lost, with unsatisfied parties heading to court to prove the result was rigged. However, the key issues on the front burner now is pre election matters, especially the telephone conversation between the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi and the presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) Bishop David Oyedepo The alleged leaked conversation is how the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi stated that the election was a religious war and needed Bishop David Oyedepo to appeal to certain people for votes. While the conversation may be true, as declared by Nollywood Actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, but are Nigerians asking the right questions? Let us look at it this way 1. Who leaked a private conversation? 2. Does that mean our privacy can be compromised? 3. Why was it only Peter Obi's conversation that was leaked? Did Atiku, Kwakwanso, Tinubu and others not speak to Imams for support as well? 4. Is it wrong for anyone to clamour for support? 5. The Northerners consider Christians as minority, would they have supported BAT if he picked a Christian? 6. Will the north ever support a Christian Christian Ticket? THE REAL ISSUE The intolerance of the North and the spirit of making their religion to come first in place of humanity is a bigger problem that a lot of people are not talking about. Ganduje openly told BAT to pick a Muslim, if he wanted to win. Is that not religious discrimination by the APC? APC in the north has Christian and Muslim members, are they saying none of the Christians from northern Nigeria and APC members is worthy to serve? Look at it this way If you are a Christian from SS, SE and SW, the north will support you as either president or Vice president. Goodluck Jonathan, Olusegun Obasanjo and Yemi Osinbajo enjoyed the support of the northerners because that are from the south. Have you ever seen a Northern Christian elected as President or Vice President? The answer is no. The openly say, we cant allow minority to lead us, we value our domineering religion and religion comes first. That a Christian Christian would ever happen is a joke, because the Average Northern Muslim would not support it. But millions of Christians Voted for Muslim Muslim in 1993 (MKO and Kingibe) and also in 2023 (Tinubu/Shettima) But the north will never support a Joshua Dariye (Christian North) and Orji Kalu (Christian South) It is the way the northerners treat fellow Northern Christians is what we should be concerned about. Obi only reasoned it and saw it and marginalization, hence making that call |
HIGHESTPOPORI:How far? |
safarigirl:Abeg dead this matter and stop going to area you don't know about. No one is an island and we don't have to know everything. You want to twist it and claim it's visa fees. Even at that you're still very wrong my dear Do you know that certain countries in the world allow visa free for citizens of Japan, UK, USA, Canada, EU countries and many more? Let me shock you. A Citizen of USA with that Blue passport doesn't need a visa to visit RSA. (Republic of South Africa) Just accept you're wrong and let's dead this conversation. On Visa fee, you're incorrect On travel ticket cost, you're also incorrect. Max visa fee that we pay to most countries is between $30 to $150. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Asíwájú àwọn everybody. Master strategist. ![]() |
safarigirl:This is trash and obviously you've not traveled out of Nigeria before. Airlines determine their fare based on distance, taxes and other things. Where you come from doesn't matter(citizenship) Lagos to London Heathrow is cheaper than Lagos to Ontario, Canada because of distance Whatever passport you hold doesn't matter. What you're suggesting is discrimination/Favoritism which is a big fat lie |
