The national assembly are bent on impeaching the president of the federal republic. A reasonable number of senators have signed the impeachment notice and with all due respect to the president's executive powers and the law makers' legislative powers, the president deserves to be impeached when we take into consideration the challenges that the nation is faced with but hold on a second! Is this impeadrama in the larger interest of the average nigerian or the legislators? The second question is did these problems started just recently? Well answers to this questions may tell us where we are heading to as a nation and i hop our 'reps' are repping us and not raping us or even reaping us

I cann't just help but wonder why it is that most women, if not all, have this terrible habit of not picking their calls as and when required? Some relationships have broken because of this anomaly. A recent case which prompted my opening this thread is one that recently happened in my neighbourhood.

This particular contractor had travelled to Eket to finalize and secure a contract from an oil firm. As fate would have it, he forgot a log book which contained some vital details necessary to nail the said contract at home. Having arrived the premises of the company, he tried going through the quotations and other documents for the last time, only to realise something was amiss. He then tried calling the wife's line so she could quickly read out the details over the phone to him. Tried as he did, the call was not picked. This helpless man called his wife for more than 67 times in the space of 2 hours all to no avail!

The most painful thing about the whole scenario is that another contractor had to be given the job. As it were, the couple are enmeshed in serious marital distress. For the past two weeks the man has travelled to god-knows-where to revaluate things. And the wife is smarting real bad from her idiocy. Imagine what 36 million naira could have been used to achieve in that family! SMH.

The second incident among others which I may not be able to mention still haunts the mother till today even though it has been more than 7 years since the incident happened. A young graduate was travelling from Port Harcourt to Enugu when he got involved in a ghastly motor accident. On searching the victim's phonebook the mother's number was easily located. They tried contacting her severally; for more than 4 hours or so, all to no avail. The first aid he was given at a peripheral hospital had worn out, he needed to be rushed to a hospital with better facilities. Doing so demanded one's wallet to be up and doing, coupled with such specialist hospital being far away from the village. In such instance, mostly a family member is
needed to undertake such responsibility.

The said mum wasn't someone to pick calls from an unknown number. Coupled with her bad phone habit. The young man died before the girlfriend and others could locate him. The mother is still being haunted by that foolishness as I type this and never switches her phone off even when delivering seminar......The two incidents are just to keep it brief. Some men may be guilty of this but it's so rampant among the female folks. So women in the house, why are you people so fond of not picking your calls immediately? What's with the bad phone habit? Let's roll maturely plssssss.
