jpphilips:So now you believe there's oil in Lagos? After you were blindly arguing sometimes ago.. SMH. Let me correct you once more. The Gulf of Guinea has nothing to do with that. Simply put, Coastal Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Togo and Ghana share the same sedimentary basin, the Dahomey Basin. Deposition varies greatly in the gulfs, but slightly homogenous in basins. |
Exhaustive Masturbation/ Over-masturbation in ladies has more Pros than Cons. The Cons are: 1.It causes skin irritation 2. It reduces clitoral sensitivity to the barest minimum. In so doing, the lady in question may not enjoy her sex life with a man as she should. It has psychological effects as well 1. It basically causes Social seclusion/solitude, mental illness in few cases, lack of self confidence etc. I hope this helps. |
mrphysics:You're very wrong. There are numerous 2:2, even third class and pass students in private Uni's. |
OneManLegion:lol |
Nusaf:Don't be naive sir, it's true there are challenges this and that in Public varsities, but never you say anything about a level playing ground of any sort. An intelligent Private Uni grad will any day compete well with his/her counterparts in Public Uni's. You seem to view situations with jaundiced eyes. |
OneManLegion:I put forth my argument solely on achievements of Private Unis. A University can be ranked high based on achievements, staff strength, research work etc. See, until we get ourselves out of this ignorant thoughts and belief, we won't move forward as a nation. I laugh when people conclude without reasoning. A student's ability in school is vested in his perseverance, determination etc. It is so painful that public varsity lecturers have to cut down marks of students for inexplainable reasons. I have friends who are in Fed. Uni's and they complain bitterly about this. Is that a true reflection of a student's ability when a student is denied the rightful grade cos of insane lecturers?? NO.. Our Education system is dead. The basis of argument should be a permanent solution to this rot in education. Give it to the Private Uni's bro, you'll be given what you deserve. I had a senior, who after graduating from my school (Achievers Uni) with a 2:1, left for the UK for his masters and bagged a distinction. What do you make of that?.. |
OneManLegion:Ever heard of Reverse Engineering? I can't even waste my energy to school you on that. You can google it. Covenant Uni is the first Uni in Africa to do practical work on Reverse Engineering. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/09/coscharis-boosts-covenant-university-reverse-engineering-solution/ |
OneManLegion:It is not the high standard in the Federal varsities, it is the decay in their standard of education. |
It is so disheartening when I see posts like this. Public varsities are not conducive for learning, coupled with harsh lecturers who believe A's are not worth having. Same can't be said of Private universities, where you're given what you deserve. The class size is great, good research laboratories, conductive environment for learning etc. I am in the process of being a product of a private uni and i am very well at par with my fellows in public varsities. |
Midex88:It's Tahiti bros, thank me later. |
Please, add me up to the group |
Simplestone:You're so amazing, do u mind a DM? |
Erha, that must be Exxon Mobil workers. |
Lmao... |
mapet:Lol abi na bros. |
sanandreas:Nah nah, it is mainly a sedimentary basin, which borders a basement rock. The basement rock which produces oil is a fractured basement rock. Geologically, oil cannot be found in Basement rocks except when there's a fracture in it. It can be likened to groundwater in basement rocks. Basement are not porous and permeable, so they cannot retain oil, gas and water, except if they are fractured. There are examples of them all around the world(fractured basement, reservoirs). |
MrPresident1:Real one sir, May God help us. |

What about it? As far as I know, it's a rift system. It can be likened to the Benue Trough in Nigeria. |
MrPresident1:I agree a bit with your differentials, but I must stress that it is even more crazier than your calculation. The cost of production varies, depending on the geology of the environment. The deepwater(deep offshore)cost of production is close to $26, some are even up to $30, shallow-water and onshore averages between $15 to $20. |
Amoto94:Ogun, yes but in Osun, the state is completely of Crystalline rocks(Igneous and Metamorphic), which makes it impossible to find oil. Sedimentary environments/basins is where the oil is. |
Monalisa185:Asin ehn, you late ooo.. |
This is awesome bro. |
Panoro Energy ASA, the independent E&P company with assets in Nigeria and Gabon, is pleased to provide the following operations and corporate update. The Aje-5 production well located on the OML 113 license, offshore Nigeria, has been successfully completed and the reservoir has been perforated in the Upper and Lower Cenomanian Oil bearing zones. The subsea tree has been installed and the well has been suspended ready for connection to the oil production facilities prior to commencement of production. The Saipem Scarabeo 3 semi-submersible drilling rig has been moved to re-enter the existing Aje-4 well for completion as a second Cenomanian production well. All key equipment related to the Aje oilfield development has now been delivered to Lagos, including the FPSO moorings and turret buoy, the production manifold, the umbilical termination assembly, and the umbilicals and flowlines. In addition, the ongoing refurbishment of the Front Puffin FSPO is on schedule and it is anticipated that the vessel will sail from Singapore approximately six weeks prior to its installation date. Panoro currently estimates the project timing and costs to be largely on track, although for planning purposes, the Company is now projecting that first oil should take place towards the end of January 2016. Finally, the Company also announces that Nishant Dighe will depart from his position as Panoro’s President and Chief Operating Officer, effective 30 November, 2015. Mr. Dighe will continue as an advisor to Panoro for a transitional period. Mr. Julien Balkany, Chairman of the Board said, “On behalf of the Company and the Board of Directors we express our sincere appreciation to Nish for his dedication, valuable contribution, and hard work over the years. Nish has played a key role in the establishment, growth and transformation of the Company. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours.” Source: http://Panoro Energy ASA, the independent E&P company with assets in Nigeria and Gabon, is pleased to provide the following operations and corporate update. iOS is one operating system that is very sophisticated. There is hardly any application that is not on the iOS platform. The Games are of the best. iPhone has one of the most interesting browsers, the Safari. With my Siri, i can do some little search. The iPhone offers comfortability and ease. The iCloud is dope, you can off Gigabytes to store your data in a fascinating way. I could remember while I was preparing for my Geology field work, we needed a GPS to use, all I needed to do was to download a GPS cum compass which did all we wanted on the field, including my pacing, strike and dip etc, while my Android-user friends couldn't get a working digital compass on the Android Store. Y'all should better be apprised of the way things are trending and evolving. iOS is dope! |
