PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Upholds 7-year Jail Term For Senator Albert Bassey In N240m Fraud by Day169: 4:18am On Feb 28
In other words, to fight for it, grab it and run away with it may not always end well! undecided
PoliticsRe: Action Alliance Offers Segun Showunmi Ogun Governorship Ticket by Day169: 4:11am On Feb 28
I think the smart thing for Segun Sowunmi to do is to remain in the PDP and vie for its gubernatorial tickets while carrying the Action Alliance along in accepting their overture! cool

PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Court Sends Malami, Wife, Son Back To Prison by Day169:

PoliticsRe: Christian Genocide:Chinese Are Paying Herdsmen To Kill Christians In Nigeria:US by Day169: 3:45am On Feb 28
The lines between truth and fabricated narratives are increasingly becoming blurry by the day, with foreign interests gradually playing a more significant role in our national affairs! undecided
AutosRe: Does Bwm Have 4 Cylinders Cars? by Day169: 2:23am On Feb 28
Yes, I believe that the 1.6 and 1.8 litre BMW cars (116i, 118i, 316i and 318i) are 4 cylinders.
Cheers!
TravelRe: 25 Most Dangerous Countries For Travelers by Day169: 9:42pm On Feb 25
Basicend:
Yeah. Truly there is no way Nigeria shouldnt be on the list.

Currently, more than 90% of Nigerians are scared to travel by roads due to frequent kidnappers / bandits or highway rubbers.

Also, majority can't visit or dwell in rural areas anymore due to killings. Nigeria is a serious case.

The demons in Mexico are just coming out, they not are really ripe yet.
Well said, and to everyone hating on me, I love my country and wish the best for it, but just stating the fact here.
My heart races every time I ply the interstate roads because the fear of being abducted is real.
God bless Nigeria! 🇳🇬
Foreign AffairsRe: Africa's Biggest Countries By Population by Day169: 9:26pm On Feb 25

Foreign AffairsRe: How The Russia-Ukraine War Has Affected Africa by Day169: 9:37pm On Feb 23
The African governments are complicit in the scheme, either directly or indirectly.
Misgovernance with poor economic outcomes for it's citizens have made them easy targets for the Russian poachers.
Secondly, many of the francophone military junta of the sahel are propped up by the Russian government, and so, sacrificing a few of its people for the greater benefit they enjoy is seen as a fair deal. Moreso, these military governments came about from poor civilian rule coupled with over-reliance on their colonial powers. Madagascar, an African country in the Indian ocean is the latest addition to the growing list.
In all, Africa has a lot to learn.
A brilliant and interesting article, I'd say! cool
FamilyRe: Which One Should This Poor Woman Discard First? by Day169: 4:17am On Feb 19
Since the 'husband burden' here is more of a figurative one, I'll say she should discard the mental burden first.
But if it's literally as the picture depicts then the man gotta get off her back immediately! undecided
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Air Force Ushers In Super Tucanos In Defence Of The Nations Skies by Day169: 3:34am On Feb 18
abc115:
Nigerian Air Force Ushers In Super Tucanos in Defence of the Nations Skies

.. more like to defend the nation's territorial integrity ( the terrorists are mostly on land remember?)! wink
PoliticsRe: Ogun State Clears Eight-Year Pension, Gratuity Backlog by Day169: 11:57pm On Feb 17
The expression on the face of the man on the right says something doesn't sit right with the claim, almost as if there's more to it than meets the eye. cheesy
FamilyRe: When I Think About What People Had Done To Me by Day169: 9:02am On Feb 15
Mineisgrace:
Sometimes when I think about the unkind and bad things people have done to me, I start to think maybe I should extend the same to other people.

But I am unable to be unkind and wicked. I want to do bad things and revenge but those are not just my nature.

Sometimes when I think about the past, I feel so much pain deep down.
.. if your moniker (and signature) is anything to go by, then you should know that what is within you surpasses what ever evil or ill has been done to you.
Just keep your head up and 'never give up'! cool
PoliticsRe: ₦2.5 Billion Fraud Case: Minister Stella Oduah Seeks Plea Bargain Deal by Day169:

FamilyRe: UK Should Close Its Borders On Immigrants. by Day169: 11:01am On Feb 13
What makes you think that the UK is the only country Nigerians want to 'japa' to?
I'm pretty sure that for every 9ja person who escapes to the UK, there at least 3 others moving to other countries asides the saturated UK! tongue
PoliticsRe: ₦2.5 Billion Fraud Case: Minister Stella Oduah Seeks Plea Bargain Deal by Day169:
Nigeria is undoubtedly the 8th wonder of the world when it comes to graft by public officials! undecided
Car TalkRe: The Lexus IS 250. A Sheep In Wolf’s Clothing. by Day169: 10:49pm On Feb 12
Carcourt:
It is furious, but it is not fast!
It roars like a hungry lion, but sprints like a housecat!
It growls like a beast but moves like a goat in sandals!
It drives like a fast and furious car but Paul walker wouldn’t even walk with it.
It’s quad exhausts scream "catch me if you can!" But sadly, most cars can catch it!
It is a sheep that is fully cladded in wolves clothing!
It also barks but it does not bite at all!

Who is this fraud? It is a Lexus. The only Lexus that lied to me! sad undecided
If these credentials are correct then it is the car every Nigerian car enthusiast should aspire to own. cool
Car TalkRe: Is This Car Worth 5.5M? by Day169: 10:42pm On Feb 12
From international reviews, I'll say aesthetics 40%, functionality 80% and reliability 75%.
I know that it's a Honda City underneath so overall, I'll say it's a good buy if you're OK with the transmission! cool
EventsRe: Trending Photos And Videos Of Gigantic Birthday Cake In Kano by Day169:

FamilyRe: Is This The New Normal? Father Seen Urging Daughter To Do Anything For Money by Day169: 4:35am On Feb 09
My consolation here is that the supposed daughter is still a baby and doesn't know what the irresponsible man is talking about, so there's a likelihood that her trajectory in life will change for the better.
FamilyRe: Father Caught On Camera Telling His Daughter To "Hustle" For Iphone And Bike. by Day169: 4:32am On Feb 09

FamilyRe: After Nearly 20 Years Of Marriage, Couple Finally Welcome Baby Boy by Day169: 4:30am On Feb 09
Samantha125:
Selfish couple... Soon enough, they'll succumb to old age and leave the child to be raised in the hands of cruel relatives.
I'm quite surprised this is coming from a respected contributor in this section.
The ultimate wish of most African couples is to consumate their union into a family through the birth of a child.
This couple has waited for about 20 years and to say the least, I would have expected you to wish them well, or am I missing something here, @Samantha125?
FamilyRe: Ranked: Countries By The Share Of Babies Born Outside Of Marriage by Day169: 4:19am On Feb 09
It would make a good study for further analysis. Could there be an interplay between the percentage rate and a country's socio-economic status as compared with the influence of socio-cultural values in such countries? Also the ease of obtaining data may have been responsible for absence of African countries.
The data provided seems interesting.
PoliticsRe: Sen. Adams Oshiomole Finally Clears The Air On The Issue Of Viral Video Online by Day169:
"Oshio Baba"!!!
I give you "tiri" gbosa grin grin grin
There's so much I could say here, but let me summarise with Bob Marley's words.. "you can fool all of the people some of the time or some of the people all the time but you cannot fool all of the people, all of the time"!!
I rest my case!
