Family / Re: Husband Refused To Pay Money He Borrowed From His Wife by Day169: 10:27am On Feb 10
Telltruth123:
Please Nlanders, why some men when they borrow money from their wife and promised to pay back but refuse to pay back when the time is due even when they know that the wife is also struggling.
I see it as a wicked behavior,do they feel there is nothing the woman can do to them or they don't want the woman to prosper.
These are part of the evidences that the very fabric of society, the family is torn.
What better foundation for trust, integrity and harmony is there other than the family but when these virtues are betrayed by the primary actors, there's little left to salvage our moral compass.
I'll advise where possible that the wife should forego the said amount but learn a hard lesson for the future. If she's to play a delicate role of holding the family together, she'll require a lot of tact going forward.

Politics / Re: 2027 Realignment: New Move Spells Out Role For Atiku, Obi, El-rufai, Kwankwaso by Day169: 2:29pm On Feb 09
All of these realignments of familiar political foes is like an admixture of oil and water.. Kolewerk!
..do you think that these politicians will place national interest above personal ambition? I doubt it. Once any of them feels he's receiving the short end of the stick from the horse-trading, trust the typical self preserving trait of jumping ship and returning to the ruling party, and betrayal, to kick in.
It's just our mentality in politics. Anyway, time will tell.

Car Talk / Re: Why Does Mercedes Commands Much Respect Than Other Vehicle Products I.e Toyota ? by Day169: 8:56am On Feb 09
Newgoodkk:
I don't Understand..
Bro.. 'reliability' is what makes the difference here. With regular use, the Merc would have developed some issues that might require fixing and that's where things could become tricky if not worrisome. As for the Toyota, fixes will be done with relative ease.
Let's bear in mind that both cars are probably Toks that may have been bought either as salvaged or auctioned. So, there's a likelihood of further fixes being required within a year of regular use.
While the Mercedes is sturdier without a doubt, it's the less reliable and so, the better option for this environment is the Toyota.
Hope this explains my claim, Sir.

Recently Someone bought Toyota Highlander 2015 With Panaromic Roof That Worth 30 M even more from other Sellers .

And Another Person Bought MERCEDES-BENZ GLK-350 ,With Panaromic Roof ,FULL Option Worth 18 Million .

Can You Imagine, I heard some People Saying Chai ! Merci Oloye , Baba Won ..

Meaning Mercedes Benz is there Father .

Beat all other Car Products,

These Guys are Brothers anyway , It was Fun but the Admirers are the Ones Making the Statements .

One even Mentioned , Mercedes Na Baba Any Day anytime , Toyota Good too but e dey Follow Mecedaez anyday any time..

Is this True ? Why does Mercedes Products Carry so Much Praises even when the Products Compared is More Expensive .

Why is this So...
I'll advice you repeat a visit to the brothers after a year to ask the same question again and I assure you that their response will differ from what the 'praise-singers' said earlier.

Family / Re: Ladies, You need to stop this habit! by Day169: 7:52pm On Jan 30
Nnamdipapa:
So, I was in Walmart to pick up some items. We had already made a list before leaving home of what to buy. As a busy guy, I always like to stick to the list and the budget. After getting everything we came for, she suddenly remembered she had to buy herbal tea and some other items that weren’t on the list.

I stood waiting around while she wandered through the store, looking to add more items to our list. Why is it that women find it hard to stick to a shopping list and budget? This makes me angry, and it’s not the first time. Every time we go shopping, we end up wasting time.

I’ve also heard a couple of friends complain about this same issue. Ladies, women, you need to stop this habit—it drives us men up the wall!
Well, it's one of the reasons they say that women may be from Venus and men from Mars. cheesy

Tellmeastory:

The funniest ones are the ones crying after learning they will lose their free healthcare.

They were all enjoying the ‘Affordable Care Act’ introduced by Obama, which guaranteed universal health coverage.

Trump campaigned saying he would end “Obama Care”.

Millions of the poor racist whites thought ‘Obama Care’ was a special health program Obama had established to benefit black and brown people.

So millions of whites voted for Trump based on his promise to “end the disaster called Obama Care”.

Only to find out that “Obama Care” is the “Affordable Care Act”!!

Many are so devastated.

They lost their healthcare because of their racism.
That's why education is key.
The mind is truly a terrible thing to waste.

Brilliant assertion, but I doubt it if he really would've been as quiet.
I watched Shehu Sanni's interview with Channels TV soon after he lost the ministerial slot and he said El-rufai would've been a source of dissafection, mistrust and infighting within the present cabinet had he passed the senatorial screening.

All these shenanigans will not augur well for the party. No house divided against itself can stand or how do they intend to present their party as a formidable opposition with all of the infighting.
