Visa refused, sad
Eco was crazy, guess he missed his cup of coffee
Said my course was 3years instead of 60weeks as shown in CAS
Didn't see the money I paid for accomodation, also shwon clearly on the CAS letter
I went to pfl.they told me they told me they wud refer my case to one of their senior ogas to advice me cos the error is unbelievable
For now, enjoying naija,
told my sch.and scanned the refusal letter to them
They said they wil get back to me that someone is lookin into it

Guys text enter my at 3.50pm, drove to the vfs office in oregun, but got thierr 4.18pm , was told to come back tomorrow

Femtopsy is right, from what I know the closing balance date of that account should be no more than a month, obviously it isn't more than a month, u re good to go

if it is 11 october, i think u might be able to squeeze ur way through, most importnt thing is getting it right, u make sure u score 40point, (30 for cas, 10 maintanance)before considering any other thing, cos that primarily determines ur visa

think through, weigh ur option, will advice get all necessary document, make sure u follow the rules and dont give the ECO any chances of refusal,
submitting on tuesday wouldnt be that 21st september,

people say agents make it faster, lekepee used PFL, he got his five working days, make further enquries, but concentrate more on u getting it right, cos being in a hurry might not amount to waste of time.

well, 20th of august, is just 27 days today, if u start counting, after 20th , august has just 11 days, left, and today is 16, altogether 27,
u can wait till the 29th day, make a transaction, on that day and request for ur statement.

the money must be held for a 28day consective period, with closing balance no more than one month prior to the date of ur application,
the sentence above seems very straight forward, but i must tell u, it is complicated.

make sure u transact on the last day, to aviod issues that deal with closing balance,
remember to inspect ur stament to make sure there are no errors, the money must not have dropped below the required amount, during those 28days,
i wil advice u to wait, if it is 20th, august, just two more day will cover it , if they say, 28days, making it 29days, wouldnt hurt u,

just take ur time,
most important thing is getting it right

@ umo77, please, look at the rules, and make sure u are not in a hurry to re apply, i mean, dont forget to add and get it right this time,
i will advice you to take a look at the tier guidance policy, and read up again, specifically the one talking about maintance, cos that is where, 99% get it wrong,
even if you ve got ur new CAS, make sure u get it all right this time,
remember, they refuse most student visa application, on maintanance, hardly do they refuse for CAS, cos that's pretty straight forward,

@ afenex, it usually cost around 30k to 50k, depending on the agent, i have neva used one before, but there are so many testimoney that they do speed up visa application using the student select scheme

you can make futher enquiry, i heard even with PFL now, it is still 15 working day, cos my friend used thier service, paid 30k, submitted on the 6th sept , was given the black pouch, but they still wrote 15working day,

[/quote]I you applied on the 1st of sept, 15 working days means, firday 24th, i some cases, u end up getting the text on the 16th working day, because the parcel comes by flight, from abuja, to lagos, talkig about if u applied in lagos,
remeber.9 th and 10th, cannot be counted, cos there were public holidays,
i submitted on the 31st of august myself, and am expecting mine on 23rd or 24th,

i am sure you will get a flight, if u ve the money to pay, i intend to travel myself, on the 27th, cos my accomodation will start reading from 18th sept, and my MBA start on the 4th

Guys,i got my adjusted CAS letter today showing the half tuition fee paid and i am applying by Monday.I just hope its not too late as the school starts registration Tuesday 21st.Though it was written in the CAS letter that students have up to one month from 21st to com for registration.The thought of deferring comes to mind but having come this far,the decision is hard to make.U might be wondering why i have to wait till monday,its due to the fact that i just realized the money in account would complete 28days by friday and i hope to transact on dat day to avoid any closing balance hassles.

if your sch allows you to an extension of up to one month, and it is clearly stated on ur CAS i dont think there is any cause for alarm, get other document right, and go ahead and submit, make sure it is no less than 28 consective day, and check the exchange rate of the date of the closing balance, to convert to pounds.

remeber, u will ve to wait another 15 working days, excluding october 1 public holiday;, if u ve the money, use an agent, if that can make it faster

i will advice, you solicit for funds, better still, get a loan, and deposit the money in ur account, after 28day, print ur statemnt of account, and u can withdraw, and give whoever back the money,

i am very suprised yur school didnt issue or state the payment made on your CAS,
Let me state here, that according to the tier 4 guidance on my system, for application made after july 23 2010, the UKBA, relies more on payment shown in CAS,
it states that payment made to tier 4 sponsors, should be included in the CAS, , once this is should, ino other document is needed.
t will be deducted from the money for tuiton or maintaince, if accomodation was paid,
where this is not shown, it is the duty of the student to proof that it was paid, by submitting an original official receipt,

My point is this, i would advice u to tell your school to issue you with another CAS, which include your payment infos,
the guidance read that it is the duty of the student to know the information the tier 4 sponsor has included in the CAS,

u can read through the guidance your self,
this british people are very tricky , and so u dont want to fall into thier trap,

i will advice u to reapply, as soon as u can, getting all your facts right,

we all are learning from this whole process, wish u the very best of luck,

please, with the public hoilday on 9th and 10th, i guess we all waiting for visa are going to be delayed again by another 2working days,

can u answer this questions about ur application, Did the accomodation fee u paid, was it paid to ur tier 4 sponsor? meaning, is ur accomodation a school hostel or school provided accomodation
if yes, Did ur sponsor include the payment in ur CAS, just like it did with ur tuition

if no, then did u submit an original receipt from or email print out as evidence, from a recognised body

Whats the name of ur school, the ECO wil never make such silly mistakes, please check well, and check ur primary site of study, to be sure it is not inner london.

Bro, I understand how u feel, and we are here for each other, i have travelled to england before and i ve been refused before, my application is still with BHC and i hope to get my entry clearance,
Refusal, is no big deal, read up and make amends,
remember, adminstrative review does not allow u to include any new document,
if u want the ECO to consider money paid for accomodation, it is best the money that u paid, is paid to ur tier 4 sponsor, and the money is shown on ur CAS, DO NOT PUT IN RECEIPT, TELL UR TIER 4 SPONSOR, TO SHOW IT IN UR CAS, DONT GIVE THE ECO AN EXCUSE,

@ FIVE , i guess u re right, Agents makes your application faster, gives u guidance, but doesnt not guarentee your visa,
if  u want speedy visa application process, PFL might not be a bad chioce,
i was given a black jacket, i sent in my application on the 31st and i know it might take ages, maybe 23rd of septembr to get my visa cos i didnt use an agent,
Agents would be cool if u ve the money.
by the way do u know how much PFL charges, ??

my application was submitted today at vfs oregun ikeja, and i know by the grace of God my visa will be issued in 15 working days.
i met someone at the vfs center and he was given and black bag and the wrote on his slip to come back 5 working days, i wondered why cos he was also applying for student visa, but he told me that he used an agent that was why, he said he used PFL, and paid 50k to them, and another 50k to the embassy for application fee, making 100.

can anybody confirm this, cos i was suprise, do they give agents such consideration as per the speed of processing the application?

please advise me, my first student visa application was refused due to the fact that, the money i claim to pay to my tier 4 sponsor as part of my accomodation which should have been deducted from my living cost (5,400) wasnt acknowlegde
i submitted a email print out from my school showing i have paid in these fee, but the ECO didnt acknowlegde that receipt and refused me on the ground that i didnt meet the 5,400pounds, even though i have paid in 2,000 and should have accessed my maintainance on 3,400

After reading the refusal notice,, i realised he was right, cos i didnt use an original receipt, but an email print out
now i want to re submit my application, ii ve told my school to send me another CAS, and this time, the money i paid to them as part of accomodation should reflect in the CAS, so the ECO can acknowledge it this time, and judge my case against a maintance of 3,400 instead of 5,400 since i have already paid in 2,000pounds as part of accomodation to my tier 4 sponsor

the problem is this, i intend to use the same statement of account, but i made a withdrawal which affected the balance on the 10th of august,
so i told my bank to give me a statement ending on the 9th of august 2010,

i have deposited back the amount i withdraw and my balance as at today covers the amount i need,
is there any cause to fear anything, cos really, my account balance from 28june, til 9th august, shows that that amount has been held for a period of 28days, and 9th of august, certainly end no more than one more before my application date,
of which, i ve put in back the same amount of money
can the embassy ve any issues, cos the balance on the 10th of august, was low, but it didnt show in my account statement.
mean while, in my first refusal, the same account statement, ended 30 july, and i am re submitting the same acc, just that it has been updated, to august 9th, and it has even before credited,

I am of the impression since he does not have to pay this 1,000 pounds again in the UK, why must he show evidence for it? By the school's own admission, 10% has been waived for him as he has paid upfront, so why does he now have to show this amount?

tell your school to re issue you another CAS stating that 10% scholarship has been given to you and the total outstanding payment for your tuition fee is £0
trust me, document and payment shown on CAS is much more tenable than any official receipt

i intend to submit my visa application on monday, at oregun, ikeja vfs. i heard applying through a visa agent makes ur application faster,
can anybdy advise me on this and let me know any reputable one i can use
