Teacher : Who is Olisah Metuh? student: Olisah Metuh is a grown up fustrated old man who is suffering from brain wreckage as a result of serial defeat resulting into total humiliation and annihilation of his Corrupt Party called PDP! Teacher: Excellent! Oya clap for yourself |
The Peoples Democratic Party says Lai Mohammed of the All Progressives Congress is not fit to hold a responsible national office in a democratic government. National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh said this, in reaction to his counterpart’s statement of Friday, where he said the opposition party should re-brand or simply die. Metuh said on Saturday, that Mohammed’s knack for personal attacks and uncouth description of a rival political party, says a lot about his ‘background, pedigree, upbringing and emptiness as a low life’. The PDP spokesperson advised the Minister-Designate to “shed his offensive narcissist tendencies even in his desperation not to end up being a minister without a portfolio”. He added: “Having been a beneficiary of the benevolence and forgiving spirit of the senate president, one would expect him now to be mature, decent, civil and more organised in his responses to public comments”. http://ynaija.com/lai-mohammed-is-a-low-life-whos-unfit-to-be-minister-metuh/

Nigeria’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki has stated that he will head to the Supreme Court in search of justice after a Court of Appeal ruled against him. Saraki’s position was conveyed by his lead lawyer, Mohammed Mogaji. He revealed that Senator Saraki would file a further appeal at the Supreme Court. Saraki wanted the appellate court stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, where he has been charged on 13-counts with false asset declaration. Delivering judgment today, Justice Moore Agumanen, who read a majority verdict of the Court of Appeal morning upheld the trial of Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. Reading the verdict of two of the three man panel, he said the tribunal, which docked the Senate President on 22 September and 21 October was properly constituted, thus trashing one of the grounds of the objections to the trial by Senate President and his lawyers. The dissenting third judge, Justice Joseph Ekanem however ruled that Saraki’s appeal has merit. On the contrary, the majority judges, including Justice Mohammed Mustapha, in their verdict said the tribunal led by Danladi Umar could sit with the chairman and one other member. Agumanen said they relied on section 28 of the Interpretation Act to reach the decision. He said the Code of Conduct Tribunal and Code of Conduct Bureau Act and the constitution did not talk about a quorum. In a further blow to the Senate President, the majority judges said the CCT has criminal jurisdiction, though limited. The judges also ruled that the Code of Conduct Tribunal has powers to issue a bench warrant. The court further ruled that the solicitor-general can institute proceedings in the absence of the attorney-general since the office of the AGF is statutory and cannot die whether the AGF is in court or not. http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/10/30/saraki-fights-back-heads-to-supreme-court/ |

UPDATE ON OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE: TROOPS DISLODGE BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS FROM KERENOWA AND CHIKUN GUDU In continuation of troops efforts to defeat Boko Haram terrorists in our country, troops of 5 Brigade Nigerian Army have been making tremendous progress. The formation was able to comprehensively destroy all Boko Haram camps and enclaves at the border towns of Kerenowa and Chikun Gudu as well as their contiguous villages in Borno State. During the operation which is ongoing, troops discovered and destroyed over 20 well fortified terrorist camps in the general area of Kerenowa. The camps includes some at the gateway to Kerenoa, Gumada and Dogon Gida. In addition, the troops have also discovered that to evade aerial reconnaissance and bombardment, the terrorists have dug twin tunnels to conceal their facilities and routes in and out of the camp. Among facilities discovered were training areas equipped with instructional and training materials that include wooden guns, amongst others. The troops have also cleared Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) along the road linking Marte, New Marte and Kerenowa. It is apparent that the Boko Haram terrorists lacked the will to fight as they are in obvious disarray, abandoning their camps fleeing and leaving behind vehicles, solar panels used to power devices, food and other logistics, beddings, various IED making devices, cables and cords. The advancing troops morale remains very high and they exude confidence and zeal to destroy all known Boko Haram camps along their axis of advance. We still reiterate our call for citizens to remain confident in the ability of our troops to eliminate all remaining vestiges of the terrorists before the year runs out in line with Presidential directives. Citizens are also requested to kindly provide useful and credible information to the military about any known terrorist or sympathisers Thank you.
