kennedychinedu: bellong pls i have an MSc degree and i was looking through the points system and found out that Aussie PR only recognises BSc and PhD. Does that mean that a Masters wouldnt award me points and also pls what does this statement mean under the qualifications section. Thanks Did you obtain your Master's by research in Australia? if you did, you'll be given additional 5pts. |

Waylesdowels: Am awaiting grants..submitted on dec 3.Just wanna be sure of letter of english proficiency from my wife school will do be enough for her own proof of english..also added her transcript, certificate and admission letter. Thank you I think I've seen it somewhere that uploading one's partner's test results can be more adequate than the letter of English proficiency and it can also prevent further CO contact in case the CO specifically wants test results. |

bellong: @dayo4,
Why not rewrite your CDR for telecommunications to meet a professional engineer standard. That will be better for you than the time you will wait for Electrical Engineering experience. I was given the Engineering Technologist outcome because my transcript didn't show sufficient Telecommunications engineering contents. I think it happened to someone else too despite the fact that he has around 5yrs experience. It is easier for someone who studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering to claim either Electrical or Electronic Engineer than other profession. |

Good day everyone, I have done my assessment with EA and didn't get the outcome I requested for, instead I was given Engineering Technologist outcome. I don't have work experience and currently unemployed. As it stands, the maximum points I can claim is 65 (Age-30, Qual-15, Eng-20). I was about to rewrite PTE for 20pts but I got discouraged because only Engineering Technologist with very high points get invited coupled with the fact that most states/regions are taking Engineering Technologist off their list. I'm demoralized, I don't know what I can do. House, please I need suggestions... |

Good day Everyone, I've been following this movement from the previous thread since mid-2016, regards to Chief Bellong and other Honourable members in the house. I applied for assessment with Engineers Australia. I have no professional job experience and I wrote my career episodes based on two internships and final year project work. Now, the assessor is demanding a reference letter for the 3rd career episode which I based on the second internship. What I have currently is an acceptance letter issued by the organization when I started the internship. Please, Engineers in the house, I need a format of an acceptable Reference letter so I can approach the former workplace HR with it. Thanks in advance. |

wapu: He said "Just try to focus on read aloud. make a small pause in full stop and other than that don't make pauses in commas. Just speak. Try to finish it before 25 sec. Apart from it, just speak whatever you can speak. Don't think about content. Like for the graph or chart, you can say. " I can see very beautiful infront of me. It is round shape." Just speak and speak without any hesitation . You will get 90/90 without any doubt. If you start to care about content, you will lose your fluency and your marks will be heavily deducted."
He he tried to sound like an American. Thanks very much |
