And while I wont disagreewith you on the above, one wonders why Germany have been murdered the last two times they've met England IN Germany.Murdered in a qualifier and in a friendly. Keep winning those while Germany keeps winning trophies. When was the last time England played a final? Germany did last major tournament |
I'm starting to think the guy is losing it little by little. We thoroughly whooped manure and every stat supports. Thats why we are in the final These are the match statistics from the game Match statistics Bayern Man. United 2 Goals scored 1 13 Attempts on target 6 3 Attempts wide 2 2 Yellow cards 3 0 Red cards 0 17 Fouls committed 22 8 Corners 2 0 Offside 0 36' 3'' Possession (time) 24' 4'' 59 Possession (%) 41 and Match statistics Man. United Bayern 3 Goals scored 2 6 Attempts on target 7 11 Attempts wide 3 2 Yellow cards 2 1 Red cards 0 16 Fouls committed 9 7 Corners 9 0 Offside 2 23' 44'' Possession (time) 36' 40'' 39 Possession (%) 61 Ball possession in both games goes to Bayern with 59% and 61% chances Bayern off and on target: 13 +3 + 7 + 3 = 26 chanses United off and on target: 6 + 2 +11 +6 = 25 fouls needed by Bayern: 17 + 9 = 26 Fouls needed by United: 22 + 16 = 38! It's just that this CL final isn't going to be fun to watch.Whoever wins it,it's their cup of tea.We dont need the fun to watch final, we need the trophy. Let your fun to watch team enjoy the Carling cup I pity the club who ends up with the misfit called Mario Go-miss.It can't happen. We Mancs complain about Berbatov.Gomez is a zillion times worse. How he ended up playing for a club like Bayern is beyond me.But it's Bayern sha.Nothing surprises me.You should be concerned abut how duds like Berbasuck, Quiton Fortune and Djemba Djemba got a Man Utd jersey |
What of Boateng whose younger brother is in the German team |
He came to look for you here and he didnt see you |
You know how it always ends, an agonising defeat for the 3 rats of England anytime they meet in the knockout stage of a major competition |
You must be drunk and high at the same time. The victim Lisandro lopez said Ribery did not do it intentionally. While Kevin Prince Boateng had always had issue with Ballack when they were both in the Bundesliga and even on the field that day |
Did I mention England here? The best example of Failure can either be England or Arsenal. Thats why they always fit into the context |
Thats all we can do, We have to play without Ribery. But refs are ridiculous. Kevin Prince Boateng sent Ballack out for 8 weeks and he got a yellow card. Ribery tackled Lopez and Lopez was back up in 2 minutes yet Ribery got a red card and a 3 match ban |
Add that to the fact that they had tougher group matches and at the KO stagesWho are the tougher matches, of the 12 matches they have played so far, 6 were against Teams from Russia and Ukraine Rubin Kazan, CSKA Moscow and Kiev. While Bayern had to play Juventus, Bordeaux, Lyon, Man Utd and Fiorentina [s]Also we all know fully well what they (Man Utd) did to you (Inter) last season. . .but that was last season.[/s] |
Leave DK to be fantasizing about a midfield without international experience. The experienced midfield of Lampard, Barry, Gerrard and other fools couldnt even qualify fr the last Euro cup |
How did Yobo, Mikel, Yakubu etc miss this |
Finidi, Oliseh, Yekini, Siasia, Amokachie, Kanu, Taribo Mikel cant make top 50 |
^^^How many games have Anichebe started? How many goals has he scored? What is the diff. between warming the bench in a decent team and starting in a below average team in a lesser league? I think i even prefer the later.Perfect response. What is the use of being in a big teams bench compared to playing regularly for a small team. Why not invite Aliyu Datti who once played for AC Milan bench, Haruna Babangida who played for Barcelona bench at least these teams are better than Everton bench where Anichebe rots Yes there is. One plays in the EPL for a more than decent side - Everton, whilist the other plays in the French Ligue 1 for a bottom table side with no continental recognition.Nigeria best squad ever was in USA 1994, How many of them played in EPL, or Serie A at that time? Most of them played in Belgium, Germany and France, some were even clubless. Have you forgotten how Yekini of a second division side in Portugal disgraced the EPl based Efan Ekoku who was called best dribbler by some uninformed journalist? Of all EPL players, I would keep Etuhu and Shittu. drop others and the 4th keeper |
Best keepers. Iker Cassilas, Sebastian frey, Julio Cesar, Manuel Neuer, Rene Adler, Igor Akinfeev, Hugo lloris, Samir Handanovic, Petr Cech and Diego Lopez. These are the top 10 keepers in Europe at the moment In no particular order |
^^ Are you making sense to yourself? Why should 9ice be bothering himself about non issues? If it bothers ruggedman then he should check himself |
Shittu is ok. Drop Aiyegbeni, Kanu, Utaka, Anichebe, Yobo the home based keeper |
^^^ Dropping Anichebe and leaving Ideye in the final teamAnichebe and Ideye is there any difference? Tell me the number of appearances Anichebe had for his club and number of goals scored |
Drop Kanu, Utaka, Yobo, Yakubu, Anichebe, Suswan and Bassey |
Anyone wth any sense of history would know that itshekiri are of Yoruba descent. Why do we have Olu of Warri? Why do they have names like Omawunmi, Omagbemi, etc. Itsekiri language can be understood by an average Yoruba guy just like you cant understand Ekiti, Ijebu and Ilaje dialects |
I liked hw posters on this thread deflected what could have been a tribal warfare in the making to some interesting discussion on culture and history |

A team can only beat whats placed in front of it. Bayern have won a double as well and are in the CL finals by beating everything that was placed in front of us. Domestically we drew equal number of games and lost equal number too. we even have a similar GD |
Franck Ribery would now miss the UEFA CL finals in Madrid as the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) did not reverse the decison to ban him for 3 games following the foul on Lisandro Lopez which was categorized as a violent conduct |
Messi the real deal
|
^^^^And if they dont? At this point they have not won the CL. They have a 50% chance of doing that. Not like they hold a 5-0 first leg advantage |
Genuine quality you say? Germany has one of the most talented midfields in Europe at the moment. Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Kroos are top notch anyday. Marin, Muller and Khedira are no pushovers either. Ballack would be missed for his leadership and experience. But the average EPL fan wouldnt know anything outside of the regular names like Gerrard, Lampard, Carrick etc |
Everyone's been AWAY. . . . . .Too late. The two Hoeness brothers Dieter Hoeness(General manager of Wolfsburg) and Ulli Hoeness(President bayern Munich) are currently working on a Gomez-Dzeko swap deal |
Meanwhile wasnt he suppose to play for Germany what not before he finally chose Ghana? He was deemed not good enough for Germany and his way of revenging is to take out the German national Captain |
Ironically the player who injured Ballack, Kevin Prince Boatengs younger brother Jerome is in the German squad and would play for Germany at the world cup while Kevin is in the Ghanaian camp hoping to play for Ghana |
This was definitely his last world cup and probably his last major tournament for the Manschafft |
Former Germany boss Rudi Voller claimed Ballack was irreplaceable. Voller, who led the national team from 2000 to 2004, said in Bild: ``It's brutal, terrible for Michael. He was full of optimism and wanted to play a good World Cup. There are players in the team who can't be replaced and Michael Ballack is certainly one of them .'' |
Schweinsteiger would now probably the oldest starting German midfielder in the world cup at age 25 |

You clearly have a major bias. Oh wait, what's that? 5 of the 7 players you ousted ply their trade in the English Premier League. Talk about a coincidence!
