what has their comparisons in the champions league gotta do with their individual strengths? we are talking about their head to head game here not some long-drawn stats from the easier games alaba gets to play season after season.

alaba has it easier playing in the bundesliga than cole playing in the premier league. alaba has only one formidable opponent in the bundesliga, cole has about 6 formidable opponents in the premier league.

alaba is a passenger in the bayern side - the john oshea of hollywood fc. as far as technical ability & defence marshalling go, alaba cannot even clean the boots of ashley cole. no defender bar phillip lahm should be compared to any defender in the top six of the premier league.
