This what you expect when a cattle rearer is allowed to rule you.

Where do we as a country belong where someone without basic O level is allowed to rule what becomes of the fate of our unborn kids, what becomes the fate of Nigeria how would someone without the requisite knowledge move our economy, nation and people forward.

'we the people' would not go back to those dark days.

Sorry but just to clear the SE, the whole country say the SE is the corrupt that the core north are transparent that every other region is a saint compared to SE but we are now seeing the opposite I would always say it that in terms of percentage the SE has lot of it's son that legitimately made it money but Nigeria don't get it because it amazes them that how would a man with one shop be able to build a fortune form himself but I satire all hard work behold look at that list and it comprise of a particular region born to rule that's why they have denied this country one thing the clamor which is resource control and regional leadership until this is done we would always cry to high heaven about corruption and it vice.

Fellow niraland. I want us to observe the development coming up toward 2015 presidential election. To my personal observation I feel Dangote is systematic withdraw is support for re-election of GEJ. Neither did he declear support for GMB.
Firstly I didn't heard his donation for GEJ campaign neither did he attend the fund raising.
With all this kind of sign, is it not going to be wise enough for GEJ to withdraw from the rise honourably than been defeated.

PoliticsRe: 2015: My Five Point Agenda- Buhari by Dbboy(m): 9:30am On Jan 01, 2015
fortunes0215:
All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Gen. Muhammadu Buhari yesterday asked Nigerians not to lose hope because change is imminent in the country.

He said 2015 is a year of change for the nation, which the forthcoming elections would bring.

Gen. Buhari listed a five-point change agenda which he would implement – if elected president.

He pledged to change the nation’s debilitating dependence on crude oil to earn revenue.

Gen. Buhari, who explained the change he has envisioned for the nation in a New Year message, pledged to provide mass employment, adequate security, fight corruption, improve infrascptructure and good health care.

A statement by Director of Communications Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mr. Dele Alake, said: “I have unshakeable faith that 2015 will be the year of change. Now some of you have asked me: what exactly does ‘change’ mean?

“I have taken time to explain this at different opportunities, but on this special day, let me remind you in five short statements.

Change means:

•A country that you can be proud of at anytime and anywhere: where corruption is tackled, where your leaders are disciplined and lead with vision and clarity; where the stories that emerge to the world from us are full of hope and progress.

•A Nigeria in which neither yourselves, nor your parents, families or friends will have to fear for your safety, or for theirs.

•A Nigeria where citizens get the basics that any country should provide: infrastructure that works, healthcare that is affordable, even free; respect for the environment and sustainable development, education that is competitive and outcome-oriented in a knowledge-economy.

•A country that provides jobs for its young people, reducing unemployment to the lowest of single digits and providing safety nets so that no one is left behind.

•A Nigeria where entrepreneurship thrives, enterprise flourishes and the government gets out of your way so that you can create value, build the economy and aggressively expand wealth.

The APC candidate expressed confidence that the five agenda are implementable.

He said: “Are these things truly possible? Of course. That is the essence and outcome of leadership, and that is what my party and I promise you as we get into 2015.My dear friends, this New Year, more than ever before, I am hopeful about Nigeria.

“Yes, you are disappointed and you are angry, as you are entitled to, but you must never give in to the temptation to feel so weighed down by those who have failed you that you lose your hope and your energy and your passion to see change. You must never give up on Nigeria.

“Together, we can build a nation that is secure, prosperous and gives everyone a fair chance.

“This is the promise that 2015 holds. That is the promise that change will bring. That is the promise that I bring to you.”

Gen. Buhari said although 2014 was challenging for the nation, Nigerians should not lose hope or despair.

He added: “The year 2014 was a challenging one for most citizens of our dear country.

“We remember our compatriots who were brutishly killed or maimed by evil terrorists in 2014. I remember with a still broken heart that 219 of our children from Chibok are yet missing, let down by a country that should protect them. I remember that, even as I speak, some of our towns and villages are yet under the occupation of Boko Haram.

“Yes, it is enough for you to despair. It is enough for you to wonder if your country cares about you and can protect you. But do not despair.

“Two thousand and fifthen has arrived at a time of great discomfort; but the beauty of the New Year is that we can look forward with renewed hope and the knowledge that things can and will change.”

Gen. Buhari repeatedly assured that Nigerians will begin to write a new story as from 2015.

He said: “In Nigeria’s case, we can truly look forward to the change that the elections can, and will, bring. Our country will be secure again. Our country will prosper again.

“I have faith that 2015 is the year we shall begin to write a new story – a story of our youth creating jobs and expanding the frontiers of innovation and creativity everywhere from Mavin Records to the Co-Creation Hub; a story of genuine investment in our children and students be they in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka or in the Delta State University, Abraka; a country that finally makes a permanent shift from our debilitating dependence on the free-falling price of crude oil.”

Lexxybooy:
MY RESPONSE TO A PDP SUPPORTERS

I've never mentioned the names of these so called politicians. I clamour for a fundamental change, letting the rusty personalities flush out of power. I've never believed any of these politicians we see maybe PDP or APC as the change we need. All I ask for is a fundamental upturn and a radical reversal in the power control. That is, letting another person who has been found a bit credible and a personality of integrity which is evident from track records pilot the affairs of this country and see what happens for at least four years. Evaluating the candidacy if the duo GMB and Osibanjo, you'll discover that they are the best thing that can happen to Nigeria in the next four years. My problem now with an average Nigerian expecially the educated ones is that they find every means and methods to remain in the same system of government and regime when advanced countries of the world are advancing and even try to balance things up by carefully making changes to see what comes out of it. Why have we Nigerians not come to discover that the ruling class don't think we need to diversify the system of governance which will include welcoming a new era of check and balancing. But instead we will be digging up fundamentally wrong facts that still keeps us in perpetual slavery and suffering. The US think before throwing their weight behind the candidacy if individuals. They support the Republican party when they discover that is what is needed to better their lot while they fully switch to the support of the Democratic agenda when need be. But our case in Nigeria is "make them dey do am dey go" not thinking of the adverse effect of a repeated cycle. Have we sat down to compare the ideologies of the political parties, have we measured the interactive tendencies of their programmes with the masses, have we considered that some elements have turned the sit of power to their family birthright, have we carefully thought of seeing what another agenda or new sets of ideologies will do to our country? I still maintain that it is not too good to totally say a person is the messiah. But I make bold to say we deserve to change the hands of those who controls the system. Especially when we have near honest candidates in question. Not throwing ourselves back to the hands of someone who we all knew displayed the highest level of naivety and cluelessness (if there is any word like that) . Change begat change and remember a change in baton either increases or reduces the frequency of a race. Let's feel a change, let's see new types of headlines, let's even try to see if we can end an era ourselves because the courage to have a change of government will motivate us to start a total revolution in future. Support change... Support Buhari - Osibanjo candidacy

As a student if I failed an exam last year, all because of one question that I missed. Lets assume the question was a a two optn question (A&B)

I failed coz I chose A

Now the following year I was lucky to come across the same question

What will be my answer??

Do I need to count the ceilings before I know the answer is DEFINITELY option B?

#2011 : Option A- GEJ ✅
Option B- GMB❎

#2015: Option A - GEJ❎
Option B- GMB ✅
Doesn't it occur to you that our opinion and right to who we want and believe in count or are you one of those that can't stand other people view in other words are you intolerant of people views and belief you should man up and I mean grow up and realise that people have the right to there own belief and not you trying to force down your candidate on them that's the beauty of democracy our right to choose without being harrased.

A presidential source has disclosed that President Goodluck Jonathan is not on twitter contrary to an earlier report by an online news site that claimed that the president operates the @JGoodlucktweets account.
But upon investigation, it was revealed that the Twitter profile in question @JGoodlucktweets though pro-Jonathan, is not the twitter profile of the President neither is it listed on any of the President’s official platforms.
“The president is not on twitter, he does not operate any account like that. His facebook account is verified where he engage Nigerians and the world. In fact, one of his aides granted an interview to a national daily in 2013 explaining why the President is not on Twitter,” the source said.
President Jonathan is verified on Facebook where he has a following of almost 2 million followers. He has the second largest following of any President after US President, Barrack Obama and he regularly engages with Nigerians through that medium.
The @JGoodlucktweets was last updated on November 11 while the verified facebook account boast of the president’s Christmas message on December 25.
PoliticsRe: Fifteen Achievements Of General Buhari - To Doyin Okupe by Dbboy(m): 10:58am On Dec 27, 2014
Rawani:
Here are some of General Buhari's numerous achievements while in office; for FREE

1. The wrestling of a major concession from OPEC in 1984 to increase Nigeria's oil production quota from 1.3 million barrels to 1.45 million barrels per day.

2. The initiation of a public campaign against indiscipline known as "War Against Indiscipline" (WAI). This policy won him national and universal applause, as a result of its effectiveness.

3. In order to reform the economy, as Head of State, Buhari started to rebuild the nation's social-political and economic systems, along the realities of Nigeria's austere economic conditions. The rebuilding included removing or cutting back the excesses in national expenditure, obliterate or remove completely corruption from the nation's social ethics, shifting from mainly public sector employment to self employment. Buhari also encouraged import substitution industrialisation based to a great extent on the use of local materials and he tightened importation.

4. General Buhari in 1984, was able to achieve 15 percent cut from Shagari's 1983 Budget.

5. The victory of Nigeria's Under-17 Team (the Golden Eagles) at the Kodak World Cup Soccer Competition in China in August, 1985.

6. Even as a Military Head of State, Buhari maintained and enhanced diplomatic relations with all countries and international organisations such as the OAU, UN, OPEC, ECOWAS and the Commonwealth of Nations. He also honoured all treaty obligations entered into by previous governments.

7. The freezing of accounts of political parties and corrupt ex-political office holders in the Second Republic in 1984.

8. The change of colour of the nation's currency notes (except the fifty kobo note) in April 1984 to stop currency trafficking. The exercise rendered almost half of the estimated N6 billion in circulation worthless at the expiration of the change.

9. The launching of the Expanded Immunization Programme (EPI) in May, 1984.

10. The wrestling of a major concession from OPEC in 1984 to increase Nigeria's oil production quota from 1.3 million barrels to 1.45 million barrels per day.

BONUS:

11. The introduction of a new Customs Tariff, which reduced the range of import duties from between zero and 500 per cent to between 5 per cent and 200 per cent.

12. The granting of import duty exemption to only twenty items including agricultural implements, air craft, fuels, lubricants, educational films, technical assistance materials etc.

13. The imposition of a levy on dormant companies

14.The rescheduling of the nation's short term trade debts valued at over =N=5 billion and the subsequent issuance of promissory notes to the uninsured creditors.

15. The procurement of new Air Buses by Nigeria Airways in 1985 to boost air transportation.

Note that all these were achieved in less than 3 years, and his outstanding achievements as PTF chairman have not been mentioned.

Sai Buhari 2015!
OP you call all what you wrote here lasting achievement, soldier flogging fully grown adult to stand in line then you should get your head examined I guess GEJ wins in comparison to Buhari when it come to achievement and the reason I would vote for GEJ is that he's govt is business friendly and so many foreign investors are in the country and I won't want any otherwise while planning to collect a chunk of there investment via the NSE so Buhari should pack one place and allow serious people make money.
