pillager:You don't live in the SW, but are you from the SW? |
Educationalserv:Mr. Terrorist, you can't force righteousness on people! Allow people live their lives! What's your business with Tiwa? |
TheNiceGuy:The governor has spoken. The onoy paws he swore to uphold are the constitution and the state laws. Finish! Then about hijab; how old are you. Really. Cause if you're old enough to know the origin of disdain against hijab, you'll know that it was when Islamic suicide bombers came in guise of wearing hijab to strap bomba around themselves and kill lots of people. That was when countries started prohibiting hijab. So, Muslims are the real cause of hijab prohibition. |
These are the clerics that want to judge people with Sharia law! Imagine being judged by a bandit. |
Makunahatata:Someone once said stupidity is like death. No pain to the one who died but the opposite to his family. So, I understand if you're not pained by your stupidity. |
Makunahatata:Trace any primary or nursery school around and just find jotter and sir down. |
jmoore:. |
This guy said he has increased minimum wage from N30,000 to N70,000 and that's anti corruption. Tinubu has to be God's punishment to Nigeria for all our sins. Cause this matter is more than just stupidity. |
NOETHNICITY:Mumu ![]() You know, first i took you serious, now I see that you're just a clown ![]() We're doing what i said, ensuring that you extremists don't even think you can have your way with that law. Again, if your so enthusiastic about shari'a, move to Afghanistan!! Or don't you have the mind? Aren't you that enthusiastic? |
NOETHNICITY:How will I japa for a law that has not and will not enter SW? Only one option is available for you. Since you've seen what the supreme court has said about shari'a law You can relocate to Bauchi!? Or Afghanistan! But them born you? Na place like USA with no shari'a you go won enter na. Hypocrite |
NOETHNICITY:Argued to the supreme court?? And the supreme court said what? Okay I'll tell you what the supreme court said, No. 1 the constitution of the federal Republic Of Nigeria is above all. States have the right to either allow or disallow shari'a. Last I heard, no state in SW has implemented shari'a or eve raised the issue in their states legislature. So nothing that shari'a council said is either admissible in court or implementable under the law. They're just acting movies there. Don't be stupid. And, stop trying to sound like you deserve that SSCE you have. |
Remii:This was exactly the same things mg they said in Kaduna. A woman was jailed for months by Muslims because she voiced out against the killing of a Christian in the north. Just few months ago, Isese worshippers wanted to celebrate their festival in Ilorin, Christians had no issue with it but Muslims threatened them and said they will kill anyone they see. The CO of police had to intervene and sa for peace to reign, the Isese worshippers should not do their thing. If dem born any Alfa well, make i hear anything such as sharia for my side. Those virgins dey wait for una. |
NOETHNICITY:This your comment shows that even if you have a SSCE, you don't deserve it. The laws in USA is one constitution which allows for other states to amend slcertain sections as allowed by the constitution. Sharia law is a completely different law different from conventional law and based on a book that wasn't written by the people of Nigeria, or any other country. Don't reply me. I can't be going back and forth with someone whose only source of information and education is what his Alfas told him in mosque. |
Father4all:Christians are minority in Oyo. What data do you have to prove that. Cause I have data to prove that Christians are majority. |
Guestmale:So, because islam is assumed to be practiced by majority on Kano ("assumed" because there's no actual data to prove it" So because it is assumed then they can tramp on the right of people that don't practice Islam? Is a country which has conventional laws??! You people need to read up on the shari'a crises of 2000 cause this was exactly what caused the whole issue. Looks like you want to burn down SW. |
LivingSage:By this comment, you imply that the opposite of marriage is prostitution. So, all northern ladies that are not married are also prostitutes? See, this is why we don't engage northerners in meaningful discourse. Cause how can a full grown human being think like this? How can a human being think that outside of marriage, females have no purpose to life? The worse part is that you guys are aquireing certificates. So, you're adding Bs.c, M.sc and even P.hd to your foolishness. Making you certified fools. |
Many folks her are just ignorant. Defamation as a criminal offense doesn't even exist in Ekiti State laws. So, I don't even know the law which the suit is standing on. The cybercrime act that they are sueing on has been repealed and no longer exists. All these APC zombies are not only ignorant but also dumb. |
nairalanda1:Left this your comment, but just saw one of your arrogantly rude comment on another topic and decided to come back to this. Calling $700 cheap to families earning less than $1000 per annum is not only senseless but also stupid. Cause one man having three children with one child studying medicine in the university and spending $700 on scholl fees alone ( not adding rent and cost of feeding and other miscellaneous expenses) is just sheer stupidity. Comparing the US with a per capital ijcome of over $40,000 to Nigeria with a per Capita income of less than $2,000 and trying to equate their purchasing power doesn't make sense. So, overall, for people In the US, paying that medicine school fees is not as expensive as paying N1,150,000 in Nigeria. Not to eve mention the Minimum wage of the US compared to Nigeria. So, yes, that 1,150,000 is still more expensive ti Nigerian than $45,000 is to Americans. Lastly, being myopic and only thinking that your way is the absolute only solution to problems without even giving thought to other options shows the shallowness of your education. |
nairalanda1:Mr. Man shut up and read what the man is saying. He supported the removal of subsidy them but he doesn't support it now. You supported it then and you are supporting it now. That's the difference. |
Lovenorth:You're saying nonsense. Barley is the farm produce used to make beer and it is majorly imported. A simple google search could have told you this. Then, nobody forced you guys to sell anything. If you really hate beer, don't sell what is used to produce it!!

blacksam01:The only significant thing that can bring about a appreciation of the naira is Dangote Refinery. But, if you know Economics, you'll know that even that will not result in naira appreciation. Cause our number 1 FX earnings come from oil. If FG sells a portion of this oil to Dangote Refinery in Naira rather than on the international market, our FX will reduce drastically. If FG doesn't sell in naira and allow Dangote import Crude with Scarce FX it will pit pressure on the naira. So, if yiu factor everything. It's the same as 2 divides 2 which equals 1. Meaning we're back to status Quo. So, this appreciation didn't happen by oil. It was something else. Something Artificial. |
The Ekiti State Command came all the way from Ekiti To Lagos by road (there's no airport in Ekiti) just to arrest a man. And then take him back to Ekiti by the same road. And, he's been released. If you want to sue for defamation, sue. Don't use the police as an attack dog or intimidation rat. |
They should suspend the bill abeg. Cause how will you propose to increase VAT to 15%?! That's madness! And, it's really deceitful that the government is saying those earning below N800,000 per annum won't pay tax but even those earning the minimum wage of N70,000 will pay tax cause they earn N840,000 per annum Cause N70,000 × 12 = N840,000 So, everybody will pay tax! Deceitful! Image123:I think you should go through the tax drat or listen to the town hall meeting that hosted Oyedele. Its N800,000 Then, as for those private organizations paying below N70,000 monthly. Check it, the employees don't pay tax. Nothing changes in that regard. |
This is fake news, the man is dead!!!!! Died few months ago. There's even a debate as to why INEC has refused to fill that post. Ómó! Nairaland mods will just be pushing everything to front page. |
9 Trillion!! ![]() This is after removing subsidy on petrol and electricity. Increasing tax and widening the tax net. By the time this man is done, those of us wey go remain for this country no go pass 20. ![]() |
PressMyButton:You are the daft one here. Ironically. The EFCC refused to make the person from whom the chattel was seized. They release a statement after they were challenged about it saying they won't tell the name of the person because the suit and court case didn't allow for it which was a lie which sowore later exposed by getting the court documents. The EFCC has now deleted that statement. Even the EFCC conceded that they did wrong after proof was brought. So, you see that you're the daft one. Not forgetting that if it were students suspected of internet fraud, without even winning or even taking the case to court, the EFCC will publish their faces and full government names. Talk about double standards. Remind me, how old are you? Cause discuss like this are for adults. Move to the romance section. It's where you belong. |
Tflex01:You're a very big fool. You refused to blame the government who have pulled so many "scams" on the citizens like Nigerian Air and Dubai Visa.. etc. You refused to blame the government for lying to it's citizens that its refining oil not knowing that it's blending C2 with naphtha and selling. You refused to blame the government that has been blending oil in malta and selling to it's citizens. And you're blaming the citizens who refuse to believe the word of the government without proof. And let me just add this, ill wishes have never stoppee the government from doing anything. If it has, fuel won't be N1200/litre today. ONJR |
SEGLIZ:This your statement means that you don't know anything about what's going on in the power sector. You should sit this one out. When Mando-Shioro line was damaged and northern Nigeria went dark for 11 days, the national grid didn't collapse. A transmission line was damaged in lagos that made lekki go dark. That also didn't make the national grid collapse. There's no relationship between damage of a transmission line and the national grid. Get your facts right. |
nairalanda1:I see your post on here where your solution to everything is for everything to be made expensive and unaffordable. And I just ignore. Not only because it's mischievous, but akso stupid when one sees only one way as a solution to a problem. Now, to this your very comment, The only reason students are paying 19 million to study in the UK is the very high exchange rates. (One of the many failures of the government all in the name of reforms) No2. Fees in Nigeria has always been affordable. That's why our grandparents were able to attend universities and the universities were able to pay for their stuffs. The reason behind universities not being able to afford things include the fact that the cost of everything is rising astronomically. And the government is to blame for that. Secondly, education is a basic amenity. (One of the very few we amenities the government provides) It's not luxury. It should be cheap. Stop this blaming the victim thing you're doing. This current generation is a victim of bad governance which has turned what used to be basic to luxury. Don't be stupid. PS: medicine is to pay N1,132,000 |
atobs4real:Nonsense talk. Are they the only governors in Nigeria? Was there a naming ceremony that they needed to attend? Can't they celebrate with the president by a phone call or a message while staying and also celebrating in their states? There's no justification for wasting tax payers money, flying to Abuja just to go and laugh and take pictures. |
