And if you know the kind of fight that erupted between Hausa's and Yoruba agberos then you would just shut up. No arrest were made. And till now bikes still ply that road. Mike 2 to badagry and alaba to badagry is still very much plied by Hausa bike men

APC paid monkiers all over the comments.

I won't even quote anyone of them. But for those quoting that peter obi sent back beggers whose families are in their states back home. Just know that those sent back to osun were not beggers but rather were paying rent of 250,000 and we're working legitimately.

If the Lagos State government want to send back alimajiri to their states, no problem. But we know. Dem no born Sanwo Olu papa well.

I'm happy that Peter Obi has now become a standard. That shows that he's now a leader of those that are supposedly leaders. Even the foolish puppet of a governor.

Now, Peter Obi sent back beggers whose families are in their states.

These people that were sent back by the LASG were people paying as high as 250000 rent and contributing economically to the State. Even earning legitimately.

Don't quote me again . Descending to educate APC Urchins is not something that's mentally healthy.

Slytiger:
Peter Obi is a tribalist and has always been right from his time in Anambra as governor.

1. If he is not dividing his fellow ibos like the way he deported Ebonyi people from Anambra in 2011 or did not allow non-anambrans to contest in any election even for leadership of market positions,

2. he would pitch them against other tribes like he tagged Ngige a Yoruba candidate during the governorship election in Anambra in 2013

3. and if he can't find a way to divide with tribalism, he would divide people along religious lines like the Anglican vs Catholic fight he created in Anambra.

I didn't even read the rubbish you put up there but looking at the screenshot you attached, you mean a governor who was even at that time battling impeachment and going round court cases for impeachment reversals was interfering in who becomes market leaders, market leaders?

You no just get sense.

Many Nigerians don't even know the extent this Band of a thing is going to affect us.

The government has prioritized a particular set of people (rich people) and decided to give them close to 24hrs light but electricity generation hasn't increased by even 1mw

See enh, if you no dey band A, na band Z you dey o.

Government no send you. My area now na band B we dey and we suppose get 16 hrs light per day but if we see 8hrs na God do am. So, yeah that's the deep stuff we've gotten into as a country.

Abeg dey lie small small jare

Thr majority of that money is made in dollar. Customs and FIRS are the major contributors to that revenue and they make the majority of those funds. And yeah z they make their revenue (most of it) in dollars. Custom rate is charged in dollars and tax on foreign expatriates is charged in dollar not forgetting that immigration also charge in dollars. So, keep quiet.

If not that you have a reading problem, the article stated February. The revenue is for February. Try dey read.

Then, govt agencies don't and have never accessed dollar at black market rates. So, yeah the official rate is the right rate to use.

You don't know anything about foreign reserve. Your foreign reserve can be growing while you are heavily subsidizing your currency or dropping while you do the opposite. Our foreign reserve is used for other things apart from selling to bdcs. Or how do you want the bdcs to get dollars if not From government?

I don't know anything about foreign reserves? The internet is indeed a leveling ground.

Okay. Let me not even go into that. BDC's get dollars from individuals and commercial banks before and they buy at rate negotiated as both parties deem fit. But now the CBN is controlling the black market directly by supplying BDC'S dollar directly. And they're not even supplying by and market force determined rate but at rates they want. So, for the past few weeks they've been supplying at slightly lower rates daily and if you remember, the BDC'S are now strictly regulated by the govt to the extent that the govt tells them the rate to sell. So, yes, the naira is heavily defended.

The floating failed.

He said you should explain with proof. ABI we should just take your word for it?

Mr. Man, the naira is sill defended. The only difference now is that the CBN is selling directly to BDC's at a subsidized rate. That's why the black market rate is same with the official rate. And that's also why out foreign reserves has been depleting the past few days.

Stop saying nonsense. Ethiopia airline is a 16 hour journey while sir peace is 6 hours. It's not even a competition at all.

Then, if these other airlines could drop the price this low and not run at all loss, I believe they would have.

What they are currently doing is draining tgem of profit so it's not sustainable.

Just shut up oga.
Travel / Re: Foreign Carriers Engage In Price War To Frustrate Air Peace Out Of London by Dbegining: 6:10pm On Apr 07

Yes, that should have been the right move. Air peace met some airlines operating from Nigeria to UK, it's insensitive of Air peace to slash the pice without no proper consultation with other airlines.

If Air peace ticket to London is $700, na to just drop theirs to $650.

Everyone is allowed to play the game

Na today I confirm say you be mumu.

So, what you're saying is that companies should always consult with their competitors before adapting a price?

Very typical. Abuse with no meaningful contribution. Will this your abuse add single megawatts to the grid?
In case you don't know, 85 % consumers are still paying subsidized price. How do you add a single megawatt if you are not recouping the cost of production?

If these guys are not recouping cost of production, don't you think the company would have shut down?

Bro the essence of subsidy is to recoup the cost of production, so rationally, the subsidy makes everything normal.

And yes, 200m nigerians are worth any amount it takes to give a basic amenity such as electricity.

This one forgot to add housing cost and cost of living in Canada and Ghana , our neighbour grin
Anything to blackmail the country.
You want good things , but you don't want to pay for it.
The subsidy has gone on for too long that people now feel entitled.
If car cost has been subsidized, I'm sure some will be making a comparison like this.
Again, these are the same people that will deny ever getting anything from Nigeria, yet they don't want the subsidy removed.

This is a stupid take. Even though you are entitled to your opinion, this is a stupid opinion. What matters when talking about basic amenities is affordability. Not those rubbish you typed up there.

And then, increase in electricity tarrif does not add one megawatt to our grid. Just so you know.

So, there won't be better supply of electricity. All these while it was gradually increased, supply didn't increase!!!

Use your brain ómó ìyá.
