Politics / Re: Pept’s Verdict And The Task Before The Supreme Court By Farooq A. Kperogi by Dblack: 8:34pm On Nov 30, 2023
And you think court will admit your agent result sheets as evidence without it being authenticated by INEC. Let's read in between the lines before we speak
MICHEALADEX:

This opinion is dumb.

INEC will only provide him the results the have announced. It's on obi to prove with is polling unit agents of which his party LP was short of over 44,000 agents

It's on him to prove it and provide all evidence in court and not coming up with cases that are statute bar.

Obi followers should stop being foolish
Politics / Re: Declassified U.s Documents Described Ojukwu As A Playboy, Igbos As Gifted, Aggre by Dblack: 8:25pm On Nov 30, 2023
Things clear from this declassified manuscript,

1. Red Cross operations on both sides seems to be more important to the US than the casualty or the war

Red Cross is a Covert front............

2. The post colonial party system was a facade for tribal difference.

3. The Nzeogwu military coup truly wanted to correct the political errors of colonial masters however the execution was faulty.

4. Ironsi had sincere intentions to keep the country as one but people didn't feel he metted out the required kind of justice to the coupist.

5. The civil war was against the rebels (Biafrans) tide especially with the starvation policy, however the rebels ingeniousness kept them going. The manuscript identified them as the Africa wandering Jews.

6. Ojukwu was a playboy turned war monger general.

7. Like Chinua Achebe affirmed to in his book "problem with Nigeria", One thing that unite most other tribes in Nigeria, is their common dislikes for the ibos. They were happy they took control of public service and finance from them

Please add if I miss any thing..........

Politics / Re: Sins Of A Billionaire!  how Tinubu Stopped Dangote From Defrauding Nigeria To F by Dblack: 8:38pm On Nov 29, 2023
If there is any truth in this report,

It will be absolutely wrong move to jettison the project or sideline the project or play politics with it like we did nlin Ajaokuta. You can't lock up your economy to pursue people who stole from it previously. The refinery is a going concern and we shouldn't play politics with it.
We should recover our resources from it even if it takes 50 years.

FG should consider what ever fund it invested in the refinery as equity. Sell this equity in the stock market to raise fund thereafter guarantee local supply of crude. This will impact on our FX and provide additional funds for govt.

Hope we learn from our past......

Politics / Re: Pept’s Verdict And The Task Before The Supreme Court By Farooq A. Kperogi by Dblack: 10:28pm On Sep 16, 2023
The petitioners case was made weak because the election umpire cunningly denied to provide sufficient documents for them to prove their case. They could only bank on disqualification of BAT and INEC Guidelines.
So in their final addresses they dwelled on peripherals rather that the election itself.

Politics / Re: Obi Leads Tinubu, Atiku, Kwankwaso In Fresh ANAP Poll by Dblack: 7:14am On Dec 22, 2022
Yes Peter Obi won this poll by a small margin. But there are 2 issues that may invalidate this polls.
1. Looking at percentage of undecided and those who didn't disclose their choice at about 50%, you will understand that it can sway any ways.
2. In terms of Voters strength, regions like SE where Peter Obi got 50% will deliver far less votes than places than NW were Atiku 17%.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Wants To Kill Our Local manufacturing industries by Dblack: 7:55pm On Oct 06, 2022
Guys let's argue with tact and set politics aside, it's our tomorrow we are discussing here,

There are items that are prohibited like ammunitions etc while there are items CBN excluded from official FX market as they expect we have comparative advantage to produce those items in Nigeria which should create jobs etc

These restrictions doesn't mean the items are not imported, its just that you source your FX in the parallel market. These exclusion is pushing more people to the parallel market and causing wider gap in the FX market between official rate and parallel rate (note also we have revenue problem from theft of oil and reduction of remittance of FX to FG by NNPC). Also with the importer/exporter window (I&E) created by CBN to regulate exporters sale of FX, most exporters feel shortchanged and that they could get better if they sell in the parallel market, so most of them involve in racketeering for better value, this is further putting pressure on the Naira.

So by removing restrictions on importers and exporters, we expect the forces of demand and supply to take effect and halt the free fall of Naira.

However, questions we should ask PO is to show us his complete plan, how does he intends to increase our FX earnings to enable CBN defend the naira? How will he use tarriff to encourage local manufacturers?

Let's ask the right questions

Politics / Facts About Your Rights As A Residential Power Consumer by Dblack: 7:12am On Jun 22, 2016
PLEASE SOME FACTS ABOUT YOUR RIGHT AS A POWER CONSUMER

With the recent mandate by NERC to Disco to provide prepaid meter under the CAPMI scheme, we consumers need to know our rights,

1. You are not supposed to pay for a meter. But if you must pay for the meter (under the CAPMI agreement), 65 days after the payment has been made, the DISCO (Distribution company) has no right whatsoever to send you any more bills or disconnect your light.

CAPMI- Credit Advanced Payment For Metering Implementation.

2. THE CAPMI scheme is an arrangement whereby you pay for a meter and then your DISCO credits your account (NOT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT) installmentally till the cost of the meter you paid for is totally refunded.

3. Estimated billing methodology act of 2012. An R2 (residential customer) should not be billed more than 200kw/h for the month. If the DISCO feels you use more than that, they should provide you with a meter.

4. The current tariff rate for a residential area is N24.91/kwh. That means that the average household should pay nothing less than N5000 for the month.

5. If you have a dispute about your bills after they are brought to you, during the course of the dispute resolution, they do not have the right to disconnect your line till the dispute has been sorted out.

6. Any breach by the DISCO to some of these rules attracts a fine of N10000 per breach.

7. If after all of this, you have not been satisfied by the DISCO, you have the right to escalate your complaints to NERC (National Electricity Regulatory Commission). Check your area for the NERC office nearest to you.

You can go the NERC website to find out more regarding your rights as a power consumer.
PLAY YOUR OWN PART AND SHARE SO THAT OTHERS CAN BE ENLIGHTENED.
NB: This is just for residential consumers only

No comment, reading through this article is heart breaking. It just a clear case of conspiracy by govt, supposed regulators, marketers etc to defraud the country.

Subsidy is a failed model. From fertilizer to petroleum it has failed Nigeria. What's more alarming is that the same fraud still persist and hopes to persecute and bring corrupt people to book is almost impossible if not entirely impossible.

The article should be a front runner for the journal "the audacity of corruption"

Every day it becomes obvious that there was a strong conspiracy by the northerners (politicians & military) to take over aso rock. Stories of sabotage of security intelligence and apparatus is becoming alarming. Now people are being rewarded for their efforts with juicy positions but unfortunately for them the devil they created has gone beyond their powers.

Lets see how they fight the evil they created. i just condole those that lose their lives for this power hungry northern cabals.

Peter obi although may have his short falls, he was in a class of his own. From health to education to roads etc in all the place I could fail him was on sports where he did little or nothing. But on financial management he is a case study.
Rochas rode to IMO state govt house on a record hype yet his performance is abysmal. Its just a glaring example of difference between electing a political and a tecnocrat

Politics / Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by Dblack: 8:24am On Mar 09, 2015
Schematics:
For what's worth we are building Anambra as a state and not merely focusing on a particular area like most others does. This dual carriage road is in the hinterland not even in any of the urban centers. That is why anybody can reside in any part of the state and be commuting to work in the major cities of the state because there are good network of roads all around the state. This is what development is about and not concentrating in a particular area just to mislead the gullible..

Pls stop deceiving people, this dual section of the agulu lake road is not up to 200m.

Politics / Re: Economic Effect Of A Devaluation Of The Currency on a MonoEconony like Nigeria by Dblack: 11:13am On Nov 26, 2014
My brother the devaluation was in evitable, you cant blame CBN. Our sole dependence on oil has exposed us to the fluctation of the international oil market. i just hope we learn from this.

During the 70's oil boom our currency was higher. We were just caught napping
