Reyginus: Lol. The earlier you start accepting there's a middle to a lot of things at some stages the better. Okay. Tell me. If two persons, A and B, approached you over a misunderstanding and their stories antagonized the other but with a same content. At this stage. I mean before getting answers to the question you planned to ask. Tell me who exactly will you believe? Let me smoke first |

Tufanja: That is really sad. This makes deformed consciences. Please never pay forward this approach to the children of the next generation. Let us forgive your mum, probably she didnt know what she did with this pedagogic wrong approach. Oh yeah I've already forgiven her a long time ago The only problem is that such is still obtainable in Nigeria. You will see a mum beating her child when issuing a simple warning against something the child haven't done yet |

Christianity Etc › Re: Searching & Sharing Chat by dblackninja: 10:52am On Apr 15, 2016 |
Reyginus: Your analogy is flawed because the culprit never admitted to magic beforehand. You might want to say that the fact he touched him before it disappeared was enough, a kind of stimulus for the reaction. This fails also. You know why? Because we are touched excessively everyday and everywhere without eliciting that reaction. You should read that story again. |

Logicbwoy: cc Reyginus and dblackninja.
The wizard's first rule and mass hysteria applies here.
People are stupid. They can be made to believe any lie because either they want to believe it's true or because they are afraid it's true -wizard's first rule
Zedd, a widely-feared wizard was blamed for mysterious occurrences in his small village. One day, while sitting with his grandson, Richard, the villagers came angrily with pitchforks demanding that he explain why he cursed the village.
Zedd stood up angrily and pointed at the angry crowd of villagers, then said, "If you ignorant people don't stop accusing me of this nonsense, I will make all of your P£NIS£S disappear".
At that very moment, a man in the crowd grabbed his crotch and ran away. The rest of the villagers looked at each other and scattered away from Zedd's prescence
Richard asked Zedd what magic he used on the man in the crowd to remove his joystick. Zedd replied "I didnt use any magic, son. The man in the crowd already believed that I was a wizard and grabbed his crotch in fear. His P£NIS is alright. He ran away and the crowd followed his fear. People are stupid. They can be made to believe any lie because either they want to believe it's true or because they are afraid it's true
=====================================================
The above story is the same situation with your guy and his missing gbola- He lied. No one took his P£NIS Thank you brother, I couldn't have narrated it better People are stu.pid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stu.pid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stu.pid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool. |

Reyginus: My goal is to live to up the faith the patient placed on me. I will not worsen the situation. It doesn't mean I have to be truthful. Fact: You either know the truth or you don't. Even the bible said You have to be either hot or cold, no middle effect. |

sonOfLucifer: Oh,I agree with this. But how else would you battle ignornace? Joysticks just don't disappear. The greater juju would be how you survive with a missing joystick. Must be a miracle. I fear that power more than the power that made the joystick disappear. Power pass power |
Christianity Etc › Re: Searching & Sharing Chat by dblackninja: 10:30am On Apr 15, 2016 |
Reyginus: How will I know what the power is really like if it wasn't my feel? I try to keep all doors open. To some persons the thought of this alone creates a repulsion that throws their rational position out of balance. I try to keep all doors open. Nothing should be waved off easily by a bent scientific wand. Hehehe Case closed! Logicbwoy: Reyginus, accept that you're being slayed. How can you say that you neither believe nor accept that your friend's joystick was taken? There is no middle ground here. It is a "yes-or-no" question. There is no "maybe" or "I don't know". You are going to be a doctor of some sort. What are you going to do if a patient tells you that his joystick disappeared? Are you going to say "I don't know" and reject the patient? Or are you going to man up and say "it is biologically impossible for a joystick to disappear" Ask am oooh |

Reyginus: Lol. So how did he make the boy to believe what wasn't there is now there? I hope you won't hang on my placebo line because I've added thorns to it. Whatever the enemy place on my wayooo, I go jump and pass I won't even use placebo effect because the boy truly knew that nothing happened to him. He just wants to punish the guy maybe the guy threatened him because of a disagreement. If am wrong (that the boy actually believed that his penis was taken by the guy) then the guy saved himself using placebo effect What he finally needs to do is to tell the mob to confirm whether it has appeared Back to my question, what's the power like when it left him? Smokey & Floating giant penis?? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Searching & Sharing Chat by dblackninja: 10:07am On Apr 15, 2016 |
Reyginus: I'm on level seven igboh will only take you to level five. It disappeared in the sense of power leaving him. But it seems you don't even want to consider some things. Like you have an already prepared conclusion not inferred from the story. Why would the culprit admit to the crime and return what he collected? Are they just being mad? Only to level 5? Then I'll smoke everything smoke able I want to come from your view. So you didn't see it physically dissappear but saw the power leaving him How was the power that left him like? Penis floating in the air? or what?? I believe if it was you accused of something you didn't do and almost lynched to death, you will admit that & also convince them that you have returned it. Personally I've done that a long time ago when my mum almost sent me to hell for what I didn't do |

This is not a joke. About twenty guys can't just be under marijuana at the sane the time. You are confusing me where do you stand. You said you neither believe nor reject but looking at what you're saying, it showed that you believed staunchly. I always apply this: Mind what people do, not only what they say, for deeds will betray a lie. ---Wizard's Fifth Rule |

It's like a shorter way of reading the book. I love audio books too. lol. To compensate for laziness to read at times and travel. I remember how happy I was the first time I read/listened to Beyond Good and Evil by Friedrick Nietzsche through audio books. Lol. Felt like moving around the world sitting in one spot. lol You are still with me You said "After reading Half of a Yellow Sun I was disappointed with the movie." It's not a nice experience to read and watch (you'll be disappointed that way) but to watch and read (very wonderful experience--you'll become the master of both worlds) |

Logicbwoy: Legend of the seeker is rubbish because i have read all 11 books by Terry Goodkind- there is even one where descendants of Richard and Kahlan in the present day meet.
The books spoil everything or maybe the movies spoil everything.
Game of thrones, anyone? Wow! I still have a long way to go with the novel. It's more than 11 books now. Last I checked it was 13, but don't know how many now. Well legend of the seeker is just loosely based on Sword of Truth, that's why you see it that way. Terry Goodkind was also part of the script writers for the movie. He even said--read the novel & enjoy it for what it is and watch the movie & enjoy it for what it is. But I must admit, the movie is superb (best seasonal movie I've watched. Game of thrones came a little close, like it's twisting plots but lacks real fantasy--magic) and better than the novel. Game of thrones What is that? Waiting for season 6 |

Reyginus: Wow. That's my best season movie so far. Lately I've been watching 'How To Get Away With Murder' it's interesting too like the Movie 'The Exam'. But I find it hard to read books after watching the movie. When I see friends reading Harry Porter I give them props. I prefer reading the novel then I watch the movie. Yeah legend of the seeker is The best season movie ever made, just that they stopped it because of monetary issues and fans are fighting to resurrect it--you can donate too for the cause . I've watched the exam--quite interesting & intelligent..haven't watched how to get away with murder(added it to my list) Now the fact: It's better to watch a movie before reading a novel it's based on. How do I know? It was still refreshing reading The Lord of the Rings after watching the movies--new imagination, thoughts & everything. How do I know it's not the reverse? I met the bitter experience with Harry Potter. I watched from part 1 to 5 before I discovered the novels. I read them, it was still interesting. After reading 6 & 7 and moved to the movies... It was a bad experience. I hated every crew member of the movie. I saw faults here and there. Many missing parts because I have already acted the movie with my mind, but the real movie wasn't like that.. So if you gonna read, better watch it first |
