abouzaid:Hahaha! LOL ![]() |
kishimi8:My brother stop being mealy-mouthed and circumventing the question. What can you create or design as an electrical engineer that graduated from a Nigerian uni? If what you're claiming to produce is outside the field of elect engr., then you absolutely learnt nothing from school based on your field. The first thing in wiki about E.E is "Electrical engineers design complex power systems ..." https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e0/Power_plant.jpg Can you create such^^? (See image below) Heck do you even know the working mechanism of that? I don't think so. Not to be spiteful but electrical engineering is the most wack course in most uni. Except if you're among the lucky few that there uni offer it with electronics..3ple E. It's only wires you guys cary up & down looking for the nearest house to burn ![]() Hope I haven't stepped on your toe, but you keep proving the OP right. All you have to do is admit it. Most of us here went to the uni you know ![]()
|
kishimi8:You know to avoid going round again, what can you produce & design as an elect..engr? Curious at the bolded ![]() |
abouzaid: ![]() |
kishimi8:You should have known that I was generalizing to drive a point home and didn't actually meant you in particular ![]() If you were unable to make use of what you were taught in your uni or if u were a victim of lazy lecturers, pls do not add me to your category of person.Do you know why I quoted you? It was because of your statement here: "and a mech engrs job is not to fix cars pls but to design, create , and optimize . fixing stuff is for technologists. "Can you create & design a car? Sorry the tire of a car? Even to the lowest standard?? If yes then you learnt something in the uni studying mech eng.. If no, then my brother you went there to read & cram textbook just like everyone else ![]() |
Explorers:No it will be very wrong if I tell you "Dont disseminate false information" . Am not giving a forewarning because you're already guilty of the act. I can only tell you that to forewarn you. E.g: Don't steal--Means you haven't stolen, so am advising not to steal. Stop stealing--Means you're already guilty of the act even if it's once. So am advising here to stop or cease from the act. Hope you grab ![]() But why are people fond of correcting someone in nl..? Someone tried that with me yesterday and I flogged him mercilessly If you want to show off then get your facts right and look for possible loopholes. |
I wonder what this guy wanna achieve from all these. One day you might break down. Take a chill pill bro, it will help you cure the obsession. |
Explorers:It means to cease. That is, stop. |
Explorers:Most people are gullible, especially the religious. Such information will only impact negatively in their lives & attitudes, all in a bid to please a creator. If you really meant it..then a BIG THANK YOU! |
What the hell!!! I need to stop wasting data in these kind of videos ![]() I know some people have bought in to this facade. It wasn't even faked well. Many people will be fasting & praying in some part of the world because of this. Op desist from disseminating false information. I bet all these people commenting above didn't notice the blurry before the eyes opened & also before it closed ![]() |
I think I have tried here. This thread might even make me create my very first thread here in NL on some steps to succeed and make money online. |
opemite:Nice one..and absolute truth! Even our medical doctors that have a special school (in the sense of med school) are still not professionals. Most of them just have knowledge in general medicine and are not surgeons. Our surgeons got their skills by studying outside the country. The only thing most of them know is to prescribe a long sheet of medication even before you finish narrating your ailment with that yeye handwriting That's the only skill they got which is not even their job but the job of a pharmacist. |
EdoBoy90:Yeah education is good, but getting the right one is the best. You might probably not get it in the university. Can you mention just one thing ever made that the inventor learnt from the 4 walls of a university? ABSOLUTE NOTHING. is it electricity, bulbs, oracle, pascal, C++, Microsoft tools, linux, cars, clothes, even facebook ![]() Schooling is good nonetheless, but acquring real skills & being creative is better. Create and others will teach your stuff in school. Be a graduate and help the non-graduates in developing their skills An irony right? *But before someone reads this post & decides to drop from school, know that everyone can't be an inventor or the world won't work. Everything must surely be balanced. But aspire to be creative ![]() Hope you are not doing "Yahoo" or "GEE".Yahoo is an email platform & I have an account there. If you meant duping, that requires time which I don't have. |
seamus387:Can you splice genes sir ![]() |
EdoBoy90:Hahaha I didn't say you haven't contributed to the society or solved problems, neither did I insinuate that sir. I'm just doing a comparison. Knowing the course I studied wouldn't help anything. But if you must know it's computer science and I don't even remember I have a degree there I generate my money fully online sir, without pains, sweat or waisting precious time.Heck what did I even learn there? Nothing! I left the uni with no programming skills, just loads of textbooks and how to on & shut down a computer ![]() Nothing tangible ![]() I learnt the skills I now have elsewhere and online. It was after I left the uni I realised how I wasted lots of time & money. Nigerian university educational system is just wack ![]() |
EdoBoy90:Okay ![]() You have not countered me yet. This is an engineering term especially mechanical engineering as my field.I gave you every opportunity to correct yourself but you preferred adamancy ![]() Full Definition of machinery plural machineries 1 a : machines in general or as a functioning unit b : the working parts of a machine 2 : the means or system by which something is kept in action or a desired result is obtained <the machinery of government> Source http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/machinery ma·chin·er·y (mə-shē′nə-rē, -shēn′rē) n. pl. ma·chin·er·ies 1. Source: http://www.dictionary.com/browse/machineries Heck do I need to go on? You need to be flogged sir..head's down ![]() Now what do you say to the lecturer for this tutorial?
|
EdoBoy90:Very good. Thanks for admitting that you use textbooks & manuals when faced with complex problems. A road side mechanic will just use his critical thinking to solve the problem easily. I hope you know that the first person to ever design a mechanical car didn't grab instructions from a book. I have the experience than a roadside mechanic young man. Read my early posts, I have been with them and worked with the roadside mechanics before I rose to this level. For now, with my voluminous experience, they can't dare me because I have the knowledge, experience, theory and I am educated too.Okay you have worked with a road side mech. Very cool. You have shown us that the university didn't teach you anything, but you got your experience from a roadside mech, then used your cert to get a job. Kudos, now I know you think outside the box ![]() |
EdoBoy90:Like seriously you want to pursue this path? ![]() By the way, where did you crop out that half baked information? And what is "countable" doing there? Your next reply will indicate whether I will give you 6 strokes and then educate you, that's how I do back then. |
MhizVeronica:Okay ooo but why did you say he was wrong? Are you in the uni? |
EdoBoy90:Aah aah! Why sir? I bear no acrimony against you my good sir. This is just about our Nigerian university educational system being a waste of time or not. Open your company & I will surely patronize you if am close by ![]() Until you become innovative, I can't rate you above a road side mechanic. You might be educated, but he has the experience and can source for solution with his critical thinking when a dire problem arises unlike you that will be consulting a textbook ![]() Let me just mention a few here, Elizade Motors, Coshari, Larrel Shittu Motors, Kojo Motors etc. You can't service your car in any of the above. You don't even have a car. The company has five branches in Nigeria and I am in the Abuja branch.Oh good. Just that I was shocked that you, a mechanical engineer working with a car company is also working with a garri factory ![]() |
MhizVeronica: Is it his grammar or the point? |
EdoBoy90:I see no real difference btw you & a road side mechanic, but I bet you that a road side mechanic will be far more experienced than you in the mechanic work you're rendering The only difference I see is that while the road side mechanic be the owner of his company , you're working for someone. & I don't think the pay is good else you won't be a "Jack of all trade". |
promise10:I used "bloody face to exaggerate the right in front of your face you mentioned. What miracle was that again? Yeah short arm growing long The last time I went to the hospital, it was like hell to me! My faith is that I SHALL NOT BE SICK AGAIN, let alone getting healed after falling sick. You know, you didn't really answered my question. I know you have hope like many people not to fall sick AGAIN. Hope you won't circumvent this one. I will try to be elaborate enough. When seriously sick or injured (not a headache or some mild fever, scratch etc.), do you take medications or offer prayers to be healed?? Nb: 1) I Bolded seriously to avoid lies to some extent because we all know that headaches can go in a twinkle & not by the power of Amadioha. 2) I didn't mention hospital.
|
EdoBoy90:Like seriously?? Oh my I would have given you 6 strokes of cain for the goof you made by labelling it wrong. My kind sir, machineries is sooo correct as a word. Engineering students have suffered so much in the hands of people on their use of English. Don't add to it biko ![]() First, I don't work in a cassava milling factory. even though I am working there with a good pay in the recession, thanks to God for the provision of that. Garri is too expensive in this recession now. so, cassava milling factories in this country are making it big with more profit. There's a reason I used [ ] when I mentioned the cassava milling factory. I didn't mean you work there, just insinuating to drive a point but seems am right ![]() Now look at the bolded, what are you saying? You don't work there but you are working there You are going & coming?? Anyway I gat your gist ![]() I am working with one of Toyota Motor Corporation divisions in Nigeria. We are affiliated to Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan. We deal on all Toyota vehicles including Lexus. Sometimes, we assemble here in Nigeria at the workshop. I work under AC with a demarcated transparent glass , the other side of it we have plasma and the customer lounge. You just succeeded in telling us that you're a sales man...smh And I thought that you're creating & designing screws. abouzaid you see the benefits this engineer got from his 5 yrs in the university? |
promise10:Okay. I don't want to dabble into a long argument with you on the miracles you have witnessed right in front of your bloody face So I will ask a quick question: When seriously sick, do you take medications or offer prayers? |
