This 'unexpected scores' of a thing happened last year I think... I remember a friend of mine was texted that he got 196 but when he later checked it from their website he got 232! Maybe history is repeating itself ion know, but keep calm and check online first... before freaking out or not freaking out.

hey guys, I had a problem with the admission I got in direct entry but its all sorted out now, am in school now, my problem is they started since last year, they are through with almost everything. pls I need advice on how I can cover up because our quiz is coming soon. textbooks DT are easy to understand on anatomy, physiology and bch DT I can read.

Try to study with your course mates, get study tips from your seniors like the mode of the quiz, nature of questions asked and so on, and if it a written quiz try to get past questions and master them. And for the textbooks BD Chaurasia's anatomy is more simplified to understand anatomy, Essentials of medical physiology, and Biochemistry by Satyanarayana. Wish you all the best.

I choose UNIMAID as my preferred institution and Public law as course of study. Please what is the cut-off mark for public law and Civil law.?

There's no specific departmental cut off yet... but the standard has been 230+.
I'll advise you aim for 250 or higher.

Partially true. Because based on the school calendar, 2016/17 session starts on first week of October (same as last year).... so I don't think the list will be out earlier than last year's. But if the resumption date is drawn back( seriously the break will be too long almost 4 months,cos school closes 31st may) then there's every possibility that the list will be out sooner.

Nope. I don't think there will ever be post utme in Unimaid again.

The issue of insurgency in the northeast doesn't affect the admission process in whatsoever way. As a matter of fact more students were given admission in the last two years greater than before.

Getting admission here won't be hard if you have a good jamb score.

Plans have reached advanced stage for the 40th anniversary of the University of Maiduguri, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi said in Abuja yesterday.
Professor Njodi who led principal officers of the university to Media Trust’s corporate head office said the anniversary would be marked with a combined 22nd convocation ceremony to celebrate the feats so far recorded by the institution.
He said the grand celebration is slated for April 11 to 16.
“Having attained 40 years of existence as an institution, we felt we had done enough to tell the world”, he said, adding that in spite of the insurgency that had plagued the North-east, especially Borno State, the university had never closed for even a day.
“The alumni of Unimaid are waxing stronger in various capacities. Currently, the university has two serving ministers- the Minister of Transportation Rotimi Ameachi, Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu, the Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abubakar”, he said.
He said three the governors of Borno, Niger, Abia States are also products of the university, as well as seven Senior Advocates of Nigeria, seven first class traditional rulers and many members of the National Assembly.
“I can tell you with all emphasis that University of Maiduguri can boast of 250 professors, within the period of 40 years we have been able to produce these individuals to the Nigerian society”, he added.
Also an alumnus of the institution, Prof. Njodi said his vision for the university was to push it into world class status to compete at the global level.
“The University of Maiduguri in 2013 ranked 38th among the best 100 universities in Nigeria and as of 2015, it ranked 9th”, he said.

Gud. To me there's no way that an app which claims to save battery life still use battery, dat means it does no work it only drains battery more cos it runs in the background.

Meanwhile, this is one of the best features of this tab for me: Interaction control. I can use it to freeze the whole screen and absolutely nothing works. Unless I combine a set of keys, nothing will work. This feature comes handy when my daughter won't leave the tab alone. I just freeze the screen lol... No be person go tell her to drop am when nothing works again.

I once stumbled on that feature and I was shocked. I thought I've damaged the sensor cos I just activated it and kept it for sometime before using it. Mehn Samsung Galaxy tab S2 tight!!!
