Nice. The school is ok tho, you can get admission easily as long as you have the required points. I have a friend there that wrote their putme and got medicine without choosing them in jamb. So do not relent in your efforts, struggle to achieve that feat.

I can't say it's good or bad. But I don't like the place personally, for no reason. If you really want to enjoy studying medicine I'll advise you to go for a federal university. My opinion.

My cousin had average score 286, JAMB score 262, PUTME score 310 yet couldn't secure admission for Med. Surg. After, she bought supplementary form #10,500 for another course, yet couldn't secure admission. Meanwhile those that their list came out had a lower average scores, in fact she scored above all them

but really, Ganong is like a revision book. Not a book you pick up to start understanding, guyton explains then you use Ganong to revise. Sometimes, Guyton's story is just too much so I use Ezeilo altho the book is very "dense", I use it the revise with Ganong. Although I would be spying guyton all along..lol.. I wonder why a lot of people dread Ganong. The book is straight forward. Greetings

for now, officially, medicine is 6yrs in OAU...albeit, due to incessant strikes, you could as well put it @7yrs...


Anyone that spent 10 yrs in oau medical school must have had a repeat(which not uncommon in medical school).


All medical students in Nigeria must undergo a compulsory 1yr internship b4 being fully registered(not to worry, you would be paid)

Very few are inducted annually, true, but even fewer are needed.
